God i love these videos so much. oyr dumpsters are literally SO WATERY (and no i didnt look into them, it looked watery from far away with food scraps and..you know. 😭) i wish i could do this too istg so many cute trinkets are there in these and useful items too. honestly my social anxiety would not let me do this. I WISHHH i lived in a area that is good enough for me to do this ...!!! but anyways i love these videos so muchh they're so entertaining.

Thank you so much for watching! I love finding all sorts of trinkets and random surprises. That’s what it’s all about.

This time of year, you can take any kids things and give them away ( free yard sale ) for people that can’t afford Christmas presents for their kids. Thanks for taking us along 🎉❤

The decorative fan that you stepped on probably would have been a good thing but the cords definitely to recycle just keep collecting them and then recycle a bunch at a time....

That box fan has a nice little motor in it, but the vacuums are hard to manage. I do scrap for metal, and you're right; it takes a little work to tell the metals apart. but once you figure out how you want to do it, you can make it work. /Rubs fingers together/

Thanks for watching I’m gonna try to learn a little about motors and scrapping and also will try to learn how to tell the difference between aluminum and steel

Copper, brass, and aluminum. Scrapers gold. Go to a local scrap yard and talk to the workers there. They can show you what to pick up. Get a good pair of wire snips and cut off the power cords. It's insulated copper. Store it in a tub, and when heavy, take in. Will be a lot more than 50 cents.

Thanks for the tips I just learned a decent amount from workers at the scrap yard - they’re very helpful but just learned a lesson the hard way, but not by not taking something apart and getting better prices

@DumpsterThriving If you want to scrap and make money, watch Mike the Scavenger channel. He's a pro.

A magnet will tell you what is non-ferrous and ferrous. A metal file helps also.

Have you been to Aldi? Sometimes the aldis near me are so loaded that there’s good stuff at the top. It’s not always food either - sometimes there’s random household goodies and clothing
