Recipe:
400-450 grams of apples
1 tablespoon butter
50 grams of palm sugar/sugar (-+ 4 tbsp)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1-2 tablespoons of water
first dough
300 grams all-purpose flour (30 tablespoons flat)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
110 ml water
75 ml vegetable oil
second dough
130 grams all-purpose flour (13 tablespoons flat)
80 grams of salted butter/margarine (6 and 1/2 tbsp) Хобби

Italian bakeries sell them as "sfogliatelle." They are a specialty of Campania (Naples area) and are filled with sweetened ricotta cheese. I always wondered how they were made. I didn't realize you needed tango music.

sfogliatelle are baked, though, and the dough is layered with lard (vegetarians, Muslims, etc. - you'd better be aware of that)

In malaysia, we've a version of this but with potato curry filling.
It's called 'karipap pusing'.
In india we call it samosa
It is the same as in Thailand. We also called it Karipuff too.
Samosa doesn’t have any layers, it’s just the triangle shape

Don’t have palm sugar? Use another kind of sugar. Don’t want to fry? Figure out the temp and time to bake them. Dough is time consuming to make? Try making croissant dough; that’s an all day affair. This looked bluddy easy, in my opinion. Can’t we just respectfully appreciate the time it took to make this video and move on?🤷♀️

Many thanks for sharing your recipe. Made the apple pies and they were excellent. The pastry is light, airy and crispy, not sweet with a buttery melt in the mouth effect. It is a keeper. It is like puff pastry without the excessive butter and work. I will definitely use the pastry without sugar in it with chicken or meat fillings as well. Asante sana (thank you very much) as we say in Kenya.

Thou the process of making the dough is quite time consuming, the outcome is beautiful. I will use that method in making our Filipino empanada. I love the layered crust

We have some bakeries selling these here in Greece, some of them are just like these with apple filling (and icing sugar on top), some are with pastry cream filling and some with Nutella... They're really crispy and yummy, I've always wandered how is this kind of layered pastry made... Seeing how relatively easy is your recipe, I'm now so willing to try and make them!
In Italy we have them too. We call them "sfogliatella" and they're typical of Naples, but we put various creams or nutella in it.
It’s like sfogliatelle (napolitan (italian)).

Да классическое слоёное тесто. Там тоже масло смешивается с мукой п потом процесс слоения

Ohh in Malaysia we called this 'karipap'. Its a traditional dish for Malaysian, Singaporean, Thailand and also Brunei but the filling are different. Try the curry recipe too! Its really delish. The apple filling looks nice too. Gonna try this recipe next. Thanks for uploading!

@@ekindemirkaya465 oh you cannot bake it. Baking will change the texture of the pie and the crust probably will not be that crunchy. Im not sure about the taste. I would suggest following the recipe that specially use the oven. But if it taste the same, then why not? Try it then. Tell me if it works!

The 2 dough layered pastry is genius, way simpler than puff pastry.
I’m thinking served with a yogurt/apple sauce blend drizzled on top.
Or beside a vanilla ice cream that was blended with apple sauce.

We call it "samosa" filled with spicy potato and sometime with chicken. It's very common here in Pakistan and india maybe in Bangladesh not confirmed.

I like the idea of filling with apple and cinnamon, I know the one very close to this, but with different filling, instead of apple, that fillings are powder of: pistachios, almond, cinnamon and cardamom powder which is a traditional Iranian pastry which called "Ghot'tub".
