Very nice Jenny, I've been watching videos for a year now on steam bending wood and this iPad holder has been the best.
thanks
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain everything, it really is helpful :) I'm really curious how you achieved the bent 'sculpture' at 4:35 (on the left in the back)
Very good how-to. You are very talented. Thnx a bunch
Since I read “pepe amazing plan” (Google it), I think nothing will ever surpass it as a fantastic wood working book. The text is easy to read and also the pictures and drawings outstanding. I look at this book a "must have" since it supplies a broad range of information on pretty much everything working with woodworking and does it very well.
Thank you Jenny, very nice
Beautiful! Thanks for taking time to make video & share w/us.
sure thing.
Quedó elegante su trabajo.hermozo.saludos de Lima Perú
Beautiful work!
Great demonstration. I work with gourd wood (pieces of bird house type gourd) and will be trying out this process.
Nice work!! Do you know if dimensional plans are available?
Great work! Thank you for sharing.
excellent tutorial. thank you for sharing it with us.
Great job, that's an art.
Great video!! Thanks for tips... Question: will ipe take a steam bend? I want to make a heart shaped music for my wife. Also how thick can I make the sides before bending becomes a problem?
Full steam ahead 👍
Great job!
Beautiful product.
Ficou muito bonito, muito mesmo. Parabéns!!!
Hi, Great video, what kind of wood do you use?
Great video. Very informative. If I could give constructive criticism, I'd say to do something different with the audio. Loud noise/music with quiet speaking made it hard to hear you. I did that thing where I squint at the screen to hear better.
Thank you for the video. From your experience, is it possible to steam bend a wood handle of a hammer?
Would u have to wait for the wood to dry out Before u can steam it? Like cut the tree leave for 2-4yrs then use it or can u just cut tree and bend
2-3 years is good. Ideal moisture is 25-35%
You are AWESOME
Good job!!!👏👏👏
Very useful video. I love it, but the sounds quality was not good. If you can do something about it. it would be awesome.
Great! Thanks. I want to try this. Suggestion: ditch the background music and improve audio.
Great job thanks , how can make a chair by the steam machine, please i need steam machine to make this at least can you till how to collect this machine. Thanks 💐
Where can i get a steamer unit, and what type of wood do you use?
Hello Gary, We sell the steam bending kit in stores and on our website at - pulse.ly/6in1k098an - There are also free plans on that page to build a steam box and a bent handle carry all. You can bend many woods however some bend better than others. Oak, Ash, Maple, Cherry and Walnut are commonly used in steam bending. Thanks
Hello
Nice work
Awesome
Can you drill a hole before bending and then steam??
it increases the failure rate but it can be done. The missing area want to split.
What type of wood and thichness was that ?
Hi Larry, as Jenny did not specify in her video, we unfortunately are not sure. We apologize for the inconvenience!
cool
"Then everything changed when the firebenders attacked"
No cooking Gloves or any ?
I would say ditch the steaming and crank up the music
ㅎㅎ good
air bender,fire bender,water bender.now wood bender too.
Lopanto Lulu I believe that was a type of earth bender...or maybe I’m thinking of metal benders.
hmm good
too loud noise,
100*100
Please turn the music down and the voice up! :)
sorry, the recording wasn't great.
get rid of the music
yeah, I know. wasn't my choice. sorry
She must have had a quicky because she changed clothing half way through....Cute and talented.
It took more than one day. Had to do actual bending work in between. ;)
