Flew on Virgin 737 700 VOZ1388 BNE ADL on 241124. (Full of Adelaide Crows WAFL on the way home from being beaten in finals so may have been swapped in for a charter). We were in 1A/C Observations: - Noisiest recent flight I can remember. Much more than the usual -800. Can't find the tail number now but I looked it up then and it was an early 2000s build - Had been refurbed recently with the new seat package but did I mention it was very noisy? - Scrambled eggs and beans in the lounge then too. What? No meat protein? Beans, flying and I are not a good combo... I get almost as noisy as that plane - First flight for the day so crew was happy and food was fresher. Scrambled eggs/bacon/potatoes and frittata options - No internet (as if), in flight entertainment was what you downloaded to your phone pre departure but remember your noise cancelling audio All in all- been flying around since the 80s (ex Ansett Golden Wing) and the -700 was very... Nostalgic
great video mate as always, also pretty cool to see the branded winglets instead of their old plain white winglets, makes wing photos just that bit more unique!
Great review Luke. Certainly a hike over to Brissy from Perth either that, Gold Coast or Cairns in opposite direction probably longest flight in Australia made even more remarkable on the smaller Boeing! Look forward to flying on this aircraft again next month direct between Perth and Launceston!
If you are referring to the MAX 10 orders, I think Virgin has cancelled them. However if you area referring to the MAX 8 orders, there are already Virgin MAX 8s flying around Australia
Considering virgin used to fly the a330mon the route it is a little bit embarrassing they are now flying these tiny 737-700 that don’t even have business class on the second longest domestic flight in Australia.
Isn't this one of Velocity's "hot rod" 700s?

I agree! Great little plane
Thanks ! It is a pity that Virgin doesn't offer passengers the opportunity to pre purchase their' meals on longer flights like this .
