I have a Sire V7 arriving this week. Thanks to watching this video before I ordered, I added a set of RS77's to the setup. Can't wait to try them out!

These Strings are great from sound and tension and they´re not that expensive.
Right now, I´m rocking a Set of Dunlop Flats... it´s just personal preferences.

@@brian-c-pearl Hi I Plugged the Bass directly to the input of a Warm Audio Tone Beast and to the Converters. Maybe a little compression from Logic but I don’t remember.

@@juanmodesto8 the Dunlops are great on a P, thumpy yet clear. EB Cobalt flats are good also, but I have not yet tried them on a P.

I haven’t tried Ernie Ball Flats yet but these Rotos are very solid ( more to Rock with a Pick if I may). I decided to go with a set of La Bella 760FS because I liked the tone better.

@@hectoremicolon1351 Yeah, I chose La Bella for tonal reasons. Rotosound are very good Strings, no doubt about that but I found them a bit brighter for my taste. Nowadays Strings are very good…I’ve never had a bad String or broken.
I might try a set of Cobalt but I’m happy with the La Bellas.

Hi there, I tried the Rotosound Enamel flats but got much less output and a bit dead sounding. Definitely prefer LaBella, Thomastik, Daddario, Galli ...what's your impression, despite the objective recorded tone spunds ok ?

In my case the Rotosound Flats are great Strings I just found them a little too bright for my taste. I guess it depends on the Tone you’re aiming for.

Sounds good, I'm thinking of putting these on my jazz bass and sometimes on my p bass in case I'll need a brighter tone than the La Bella's (0760m), how's the tone after a few months?
Thanks a lot. I really like the tone of these strings but they were kind of hard under my fingers. Other than that, great strings and not so expensive as the La Bellas.

@@amrsalahmahmoud3034 Hi. I haven’t tried a lighter Set from the Rotos but I did tried a Set of La Bella 760FL. Great Strings if you have a lighter touch. I tend to play hard and Dig the Strings so lighter set won’t work for me. Check out my Video on the LB760FL here:

I've always wanted to try these strings. Do they get rusted easily? My previous Ernieball Cobalt Flats rusted away in just 3 weeks.
I used them for like 2 months or so and no problems at all. I changed them because I was looking more of a Old School sound and this strings are kind of on the bright side. Very Solid set of Strings if you ask me.
I have them laying around but can’t say if the Strings got rusted.

@@juanmodesto8 Thanks, the rust could be because my hands tend to sweat a lot. but my stainless rotos strings always last without rust for quite a long time. maybe Roto's monel Flats would be a good answer.
@@fjsolossa29 The Roto’s are definitely worth trying, they are very good and not so expensive like other Brands!
Ernie Ball colbat get rusty because of the cobalt, actually.
Rotosound uses a different alloy of stainless steel, so it doesn't rust.
I have the exact same strings on my Jazz Bass, my hands are very sweaty, especially when playing. I never care to wipe the strings after use. I put on somewhere around November 2021, still no sign of rust and they sound great. They do require a lot strength, but it's worth it :-)
What gauge did you use here? 45-105 or 40-100?

Hi . These strings have a little of a high tension and the feel was kind of hard under my fingers. I really liked the Tone , kind of bright the first week. Great Set! I hope it helps.
