Freefall was probably the most fun school. A number of the schools are great (hell, even basic was like summer camp for grown ups), but freefall is special
I've been on the ride up with SOF guys on the plane and it's pretty cool to watch them. I was across from a guy at the door and we were far off the dz still when the guy just opened the door and bailed out like he was leaving a burning building. I was like wtf, but someone told me on the ground that he was training for distance flight in the chute or something. I'll never forget that though. Dude was there, them he wasn't.

I am not military but my spouse retired. Didn’t have this MOS but they tried to. And may I say OMGosh this is crazy. But my spouse did go skydiving once and I chickened out. But geez you have to be very confident to do this kind of job. 😬 lol as I’m getting older I’m getting more afraid of heights and just watching people overcome there views of heights.
Well, you’re falling at terminal velocity (or just under) and you’re actively stabilizing yourself using body position. Using your arms and legs to move through the air. - A
@@ukko00 you’ll do a couple flips anyway cause you’ll suck when you start (if you’re a controller you’ll always be sky trash). Don’t do it in school. Do it at your unit. - A
I'd be leaning towards the kind of lens in the camera. It's believed that curvature can't be noticed below 35,000 feet. Since nobody in this jump is using oxygen, it's likely they're jumping at or below 15,000 feet.
@@sascha5502 the navy has Specwar riggers. 6 year enlistment. Advanced schools etc. I was a civilian jumper before the military. All my jumps were recorded with the USPA. I got the trifecta in both camps. Civilian and military. But I'm a full time trucker now...more consistent paychecks
