I wonder what kits we might have gotten from Aurora if they stayed in business and their "Monsters of the Movies" line continued to get new additions? First, I would have liked to have seen The Mummy added to this series to complete the 1/13th scale Universal Monster lineup. And imagine adding the New Line Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, as well as Alien and Predator, to this collection . . . . 42nd Like.
For some reason the Monsters of the Movies models look cheap to me. The Frankenstein is in a very unfrankenstein pose. I don't think that came for any movie. The sea grass in the creature model is obviously two dimensional.
1 year ago! lol think this was made in the 70's!
Do you remember the prehistoric kits ? The cavemen and I think there was a sabre-tooth tiger....
There were dinosaurs , too.
Yes, that's coming up on one of the later parts i will upload
I didnt realize these need to be painted. That would've been possibly less a draw back as a kid. But still cool; great memories.
I had Cro Magnon Man, Saber Tooth Tiger, and Pteradactyl.

That would have been amazing if they did modern horror. Thanks for watching!
