2004 Volvo S60 side window regulator sliding blocks replacement

In this video I will be replacing the sliding blocks on the rail for the side window. The presenting problem was a window that came off the track because the original blocks had failed. I saved my son $500 in doing this repair!

Tysm Scott! Truly appreciate your time and your video for this repair! Bought my first Volvo S60 a month ago, and went to roll the driver's window down and it fell forward! 😳
Anyway after a little research found out about the clips being an issue! Just needed a little help taking it apart! And your video was right on point!

Doing this for my car now. Thanks so much for making this video. Question for you, do you need to buy new clips for the panel or can I reuse them? I don’t think so because I’m not sure where the center pins went...

Reuse them. only new clips to replace are the blue sliding one

Before I do the same thing, can you tell me if; when you push the button for the driver motor to go down did you hear the motor turning to turn?

ducky doucette yes, I could hear it turning but it didn’t move the window.

@@ScottsGarage17, Thanks great video here. I have one question. while trying to open on the drives side window. The window stops 1/4 way down and releases from the track the front go's down but the back stays. Back meaning the latch side. Ever seen this? .

I'd lubricate the sliding surfaces with wax.
