    For anyone confused by his zero method. Here's an explanation:
    10= 1 zero
    100 = 2 zeros
    1,000 = 3 zeros
    10,000 = 4 zeros
    10万 = 1+4 = 100,000 (5 zeros)
    100万 = 2+4 = 1,000,000 (6 zeros)
    1000 万 = 3+4 = 10,000,000 (7 zeros)
    Btw very good method, thank you george!

Hadn't even finished your video and the concept took me. I had the hardest time understanding large numbers in japanese and the idea of shifting the comma to divide by 4 instead of 3 is what I needed. I skipped this video when I was a beginner but now as a more experienced learner working on review, I am so glad I watched this video. This method uses the way English speakers think of large numbers and reverse engineers it for Japanese. If I could name it, I would call it the several figures conversion theory because you are using arithmetic to convert between the two languages.

    I really appreciate the speaker's way of teaching, he encourages and reminds the watchers/listeners that it's fine if they find it confusing at first because that makes us feel more relieved and motivated. He also considers every kind of learners, his pacing is just right, enough for the fast-learners to enjoy the excitement and for the ones who's slower to have more time to think and solve with no pressure at all.
    Thank you for these amazing videos sir George, I'm very thankful one of this channel's vids was recommended to me as I just started self-learning the language months ago and the hardest part in self-learn really is finding the right sources/method to follow and I'm liking more and more these lessons of this channel so far. Hello George. Your methods works efficiently on me. A language partner reffered me your book and channel. Your teaching in a fun way is the most I enjoy. I guess, I too have reacted in the same way just as you if I were to teach, thank you and your wife and others for this great effort. I hope to become fluent in japanese through your written book and channel.

    I'm so thrilled to have learned this! Yesterday I was watching one of my favorite animes and the girl owed 800man, and my husband and I just sat there discussing whether that was a million, a hundred thousand, or maybe ten million. This clears up SO much!!!
