I'm an older lady, so am well acquainted with Opera Legend Placido Domingo, who is 82 or 83 now. He was one of the big 3 tenors when Pavarotti was at his peak, and they competed for roles. They didn't like each other because of this rivalry. I mention this because Dimash has said many times that he was a huge fan of Luciano Pavarotti. Domingo and Pavarotti were both friends with the 3rd main tenor at the time, Jose Carreras. This was in the late 19980s-early 90s. Jose Carreras came down with cancer. And he beat it. (I think it was lieukemia, but am not sure.) Anyway, when he recovered, he asked Domingo and Pavarotti to join him in a concert. They couldn't turn him down, despite the rivalry. The concert was a HUGE success--I remember watching it on the TV. It led to more concerts of what became known as The Three Tenors. The two former rivals became friends because of this. The only one of them left alive is Maestro Placido Domingo. Dimash dreamed as a young child of getting to sing with him, and that dream just came true. And Maestro Domingo has the pleasure of singing (the lower part, now that his voice has aged) with the phenomenol Dimash Qudaibergen. What a treat for them, and what a beautiful gift to Music History and the human race!!! They, the musicians, the Conductor, all in the concert hall will never forget that they were there when this happened. I am soooooo happy!!! I am a Dear, for 4 months now, and love that Dimash got to fulfill a childhood dream of singing with Placido Domingo.

You are very young if you don't know Placido Domingo. You've heard of the 3 Tenors right? Luciano Pavoratti? Placido was one of the original 3 Tenors. Placido is a legendary opera singer/conductor. And one of Dimash's idols as a kid. There's a video of Placido and Dimash meeting which is so cute. Placido exclaiming he knows who Dimash is because of his grandson. Dimash looks embarassed/happy. I like to compare "being the best" with sports. Athletes don’t always have to win every match or they don’t have to be the best at every skill of their sport to be the best overall. They often just accumulate the most points in all categories that are measured or judged. Dimash might not be the best rapper or opera singer, but him rapping and singing opera adds some or even many points to his massive score. Massive because of his usable range, control and number of techniques he mastered. And so on 😊

Dimash está formado en música clásica y ópera no es un improvisado solo que él decidió por otro estilo pero cuando tiene que hacerlo lo hace y a la mejor forma que él conoce con excelencia perfección dedicación horas de ensayo seguramente te logró con Plácido domingo fue maravilloso la ópera no es un género fácil es muy estricto en su forma de de cantar cada nota de su expresión corporal su cara todo tiene que estar acorde a lo que se estipuló en el guión y lo hicieron a la perfección Plácido domingo Tal vez sea más común hacerlo pero para dimash fue un desafío como siempre lo logró ,,,,sueño cumplido dimash...❤

You are very young if you don't know Placido Domingo. You've heard of the 3 Tenors right? Luciano Pavoratti? Placido was one of the original 3 Tenors. Placido is a legendary opera singer/conductor. And one of Dimash's idols as a kid. There's a video of Placido and Dimash meeting which is so cute. Placido exclaiming he knows who Dimash is because of his grandson. Dimash looks embarassed/happy. Placido Domingo is one of the voices that inspired Dimash to sing. During the 20th century, the three most known operatic voices in the tenor ranger were Luciano Pavorotti, Placido Domingo and José Carreras. They recorded occasionally together as the Three Tenors and Dimash has relayed the story from his childhood of hearing their recordings and being inspired. Yes, Hauser was one of the audience… these people are very known and have participated as judges in a show.

I like to compare "being the best" with sports. Athletes don’t always have to win every match or they don’t have to be the best at every skill of their sport to be the best overall.
They often just accumulate the most points in all categories that are measured or judged.
Dimash might not be the best rapper or opera singer, but him rapping and singing opera adds some or even many points to his massive score. Massive because of his usable range, control and number of techniques he mastered.

After I heard this performance, I looked up the lyrics so that I could understand the intentions of the performance better - certainly this piece of music is exquisite.
That performance was out of this world
