    “Get a soil map and plant where you have the best soil” 1000% talking about Dr. Deer I knew that was going to be one of the examples LOL

    Thats why I like to keep mine close to primary food sources like AG fields or chestnut, Oak flat...They act as staging areas and pass through areas in line with line of movements...

    That little eight-point with the tall g2's that you guys show on all your videos is going to be a hell of a buck someday. you guys should have to do a video on him how many times you've shown him throughout the years

    Excellent video Jeff I will take that advice. Quick question could I get away just mocks scrapes without water holes at my tree stands or ground blinds. Can’t get enough of your videos 👍👍👍

    Great video!! Food Plot videos are important info.. Most powerful tool is food and its the easiest way to screw hunting if its used or placed inappropriately..

    @whitetailhabitatsolutions Hey Jeff! is it to late to give up on my buck wheat? Only about 4 inches tall drout really set it back. In ground since June 10th in SE, MN. Best of luck planting this august!

    Hey Jeff in a clearing like that you think red osier dogwood would be a good choice? Or even around the edge of the switchgrass

    Missing the first 24” of your tape measure if you think that sheds off a 170” buck.

      That's not the correct shed clip from the buck he's talking about.

    Can I walk through a food plot in the afternoon? It’s what you would call a holding plot. Almost 2 acres. Wanted to access through corner of it for evening hunt

    Mow plots and hope buckwheat pops through or just wipe the slate clean this weekend Jeff?

    Hi Jeff, wondering when putting plot start and glyphosate to seed a plot how much time between applications and which one first?

      Good question! While you can't mix them ..you can put either one out first and follow up right away with the other

    Hey Jeff. Using buckwheat no till method is it okay to seed in the rain and then follow up with glyphosate the day or two after? Thank you!

    Through down rie grass so they would have bedding cover and a food sorce...

    So what is the purpose of the switch grass in this location if the deer arent going to bed in it or eat it? Couldn"t you have just let it grow up thick with whatever was growing there to start? Are you using the switch grass as screening cover for access to stand locations on either side of it?

    • @wijoey710
      @wijoey710 Год назад

      If you watch other channels they are starting to go away from switchgrass the deer doesn't use the area

    • @eddietolbert5308
      @eddietolbert5308 Год назад

      @wijoey710 yea I watch ALL the channels. So if he had bucks bedding in this area, and he doesn't want to plant it in food plot mix, why the switch grass? Just leave it alone.

    • @stevenheathman3942
      @stevenheathman3942 Год назад +1

      It seems like he is using the switch grass as away to get the deer to bed where he wants. If you just let it grow up, wouldn’t the deer just bed in the new growth?

    Hey, your B roll sometimes interferes with your body language and white board lessons. Also please do a white board layout of your property, e.i. food bed stands travel. Thanks for the best info out there for property management 👍
