I have followed him and Bobby from 1962 - In 1963, they came to my hometown of San Jose, CA. Been a BIG fan fan ever since. Can you imagine if we had a duo in 2012 like Bill and Bobby. Together or solo - they were always great - in every way. Needless to say .. go see Bill Medley ..... he's great ... May God keep you free from any form of cancer is my prayer for you.
Bill made my day on May 19th,2010. I was just diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. My friends wife arranged front row seats, dead center. Bill deticated Unchained Melody to my wife. It also happened to be the day of our 5th wedding anniversary and it was our wedding song. After 12 chemo rounds, 3 surgeries and 25 radiation treatments I'm still here and according to my last scan, free and clear of lung cancer. That man was an inspiratyion, not only to me but my wife when met us after the show.
Im an afrian american who had the priviledge of seeing him too. he gave me chills. This man and his brother was the best sould singers of their times. no one can compared.
Simply the best. I've met Bill Medley numerous times. Love his voice and his shows have always been fantastic. He gets better and better. Loved Bobby and him together and was lucky enough to see them both. Hope to see Bill and his new show in Vegas.

Today, as we all mourn Glenn Frey, Rock and Roll Heaven has been on my mind. The Righteous Brothers nailed it back then... and it's still appropriate today as we have lost David Bowie in the last week as well. Thanks.

I met the Righteous Brothers in Springfield Mo--I had tickets to see them in 1965--and got in a car wreck. They asked me not to wait that long next time. They aged very well and served themselves well on stage. about time they got in the RR hall of fame--others a lot lesser them got in!!!!
