Btw for anyone trying DoorDash and don’t know about how to schedule - you have to be far enough out of the congested areas of the city to schedule because there are so many drivers in Manhattan that it clogs their registration system. So once you get to Manhattan the system gets jammed. I’m not sure if outer Brooklyn works or not because i live in Washington heights, but what people near me do is bike out on the GWB to Fort Lee, the Hackensack region, and then the system starts working again. Plus it’s easier in that region to be platinum so you are more likely to be able to schedule.
Oh regarding the minimum pay - I liked it when I was doing uber, because it was making summer really profitable. Of course, then I got fired because I just couldn’t stand working 60 hours per week and I kinda flipped. But I was making $180+ on average every day with no dips for summer. I had just worked out the system to be able to get the best times because during peak times it was just always good no matter the season due to kicking people off who weren’t scheduled. And it was due to the changes made for minimum wage. Last summer was so miserable that it actually made me angry just remembering it and expecting warnings to go to shit every day. Then I finally realized it was gonna be fine but it was 90 degrees every day and I was overworked. With doordash even after figuring the infinite scheduling glitch, the slow times are really bad, with nothing for hours.
13:25 lmao I still go back and watch wilcer's old bike videos. Homie used to not care about one traffic law. Cut in front of everybody and their dogs LOLOL that's my dawg tho

@@johnmor3541 they started having schedules cuz the law that passed early 2024 for minimum wage, idk what on call time is but that’s not the reason, it’s crazy because the people that pushed these laws to be made are not even working Uber eats and all gone, they took the money and left them for stranded
Gh finally caught on to my strategy and hit me with a violation 😂😂. I would get to drop off fast I could then drag out hitting delivered til they sent another order 😂😂 got away with it for months tho
Limit on that is usually 10-15 before the app reads it as a red flag. In my zone the base pay give is higher than the minimum pay so it’s not that worth it to milk it. I got a one hour delivery and the base pay was like $24 for 1hr.
@johnmor3541 nah im not milking the base pay. After 20 mins without an order gh kicks you off in nyc so I'll hold off hitting delivered til another order comes in
And I gotta a colorful AURAAAAA like I got neon guts!

6:20 it’s making me no money since i can’t even get a schedule😂👎🏽how these apps should be is going online when you want
Problem is the apps have to pay also for on-call time. Thats why all the apps have the schedules now.
