  • Join artist Vic Hollins, as she demonstrates how to paint a charming bird step-by-step using Amsterdam Acrylic Paints on an Ampersand Gessobord Panel! Through a series of simple techniques, we'll learn multiple ways to blend, layer, and manipulate the paint, and apply it to the Gessobord Panel. This virtual workshop has an emphasis on color mixing, and we'll be using primary colors and utilize them to their full potential. Plus, we’ll learn about color theory basics and how effective primary colors can be to create color harmony with the use of a color wheel and her own color-mixing journal. These concepts can be applied to all mediums, and used in future art you make. Towards the completion of the workshop, Vic will show how to effortlessly incorporate pearl metallics for some finishing touches to our acrylic paintings!
