When I had this game as a kid, my computer crashed at the finale and erased all my progress. I never knew what happened. I'm glad that now in 2019 I have my answer
Only took me a decade to realize how f***** up this village was. Everyone stole everything and their reasons are ridiculous. They're all good liars and they're pretty sneaky. Also, why didn't the "yetti" guy just steal everything and leave the village, he wouldn't be able to explain his wealth by staying anyway? Also, if he's the one who stole the treasures, why didn't he have any? He stole the treasures and the rest of the village backed him up! WHAAAAAATTT
+Ae C I think the way it works was the apprentice stole the treasures(which if 24 shelves can hold all of one type there is actually a total of 192 treasures most of which are not seen) and even he knew the labor needed to take them down the mountain is too much without some vehicle to carry them discreetly away. His only hope is stash them until he has a way to take them down the mountain so using his yeti disguise scares everyone into hiding the treasures until he can take them away. Overly complicated and very crazy yes. Possible yes. Is it this village seriously crazy why yes they are.
These kids are always so blase about death, aren't they? Like... Limburger, Loveless, and the Apprentice all are set up to die and as far as the kids know, ARE dead. And they go on their merry way like it never happened. The only exceptions were 5th and 6th grade. This is also the odd-one out of the non-main games. It's the only one where Joni and Santiago pair off, as in the main games.
I can't figure out if I never finished this game as a kid... or if the ending was just so anti-climactic after all the trouble I just didn' t remember it.
It took just two days for me finishing this original version, clearing all progress without remaining puzzle! Especially I call myself IQ 152 the smart as I was able to solve this mystery as I am spending my last 20s, paddling the days that I struggled this game when I was a kid.
I don't know about this ending but to be honest, when I have done some search about this video game, there was another ending. This ending did feature the big hand behind the Apprentice. However, when I looked at the other ending, after he survived the avalanche, he said "You can't stop me you meddling ClueFinders!" and that was it. He never appeared again after this game, not even on "The ClueFinders: Mystery Mansion Arcade". So the ending was confusing to me, unless if he really is eaten by a Yeti just like from that hand.
Feels a bit like the movie where Scooby Doo went to the swamp. They unmasked the villain... and left him there, dancing away. Dun dun (record winds down)
I admit 6th grade was a little overkill at times, but I give it a pass for creativity. And I also give it a pass for making Joni a more stronger and likable character when she sacrificed her humanity for her friends and whole town.

Same here
Ok. I looked for so long for this game. This was a real trip down memory lane. Thanks for putting in a days worth of video game playing just for this.

@@fridaylambda3494 Thank you for patching up these plot holes.
The only cluefinders game i never finished as a kid.

bruh that man died and these kids are like "lol another case solved"
They didn't have the right tools to help. They would have only put themselves at risk of they went. Better to leave and called proper help elsewhere

I'm laughing my ass off that guy is DEAD and they are all "lol another case solved11!!"
lol I'm laughing too
I KNEW IT. I wanted to finish this game so bad and never did.
Laptrap never gets a dull moment, does he?
I watched ALL 24 videos until this one. So proud. Also, Happy New Year 2020, folks. I enjoyed reading all your comments and replies.

Interesting, maybe it's a lost media now? I don't know
What a disappointing ending...
Having the writer, Guide, and Photographer as accusable suspects kind of eliminates them as the obvious culprit. :P

“...and I would’ve done it if it weren’t for you meddling kids!”
PART 24?!?! How long was this game? O.o
Could Somebody Request A Cluefinders TV Show
Of all the cluefinder games, this one was the too long, too repetitive and boring.
The one I hated the most was 6th grade. This was my second hated one.

I love the real yeti
I kept making a lot of mistakes in the level with the village girl.
I kind had the feeling from the beginning it was that guy.
