Thank you for your video. It's always a treat to see your progress on your beautiful pieces. I hope those beads work for you. What a disappointment. That fabric for your mermaid chart is perfect! Can't wait to see it. Have a wonderful Bali trip, enjoy your time together! Take care and happy stitching!
Thank you very much! After several suggestions I’ve decided to order some Mill Hill Petite beads in the same color so I think they should be perfect…. We’ll soon find out! I’m so excited to start the mermaids on that fabric! Thank you for your kind comments as always 🥰
Such beautiful stitching love fairy garden ❤ the fabric for your mermaid project is stunning look forward to seeing that, I hope you have the most wonderful holiday safe journey .
Thank you so much! I’m so excited to stitch on that fabric… might even start in a couple of days (before I jet off). Thank you so much for your well wishes 🥰
Thank you so much 🥰. I’m a BIG fan of Shannon Christine’s now. I just wish she’d stop tempting me with new designs because I don’t have time to stitch them all 😂
Your new start is lovely, Carolyn! I know Fairy Garden will look awesome either qith beads or metallics, it is already lovely as is! I hope you enjoy your holiday, November is the start of our dry season here 😄 Enjoy and have fun!
Thank you Karen. I’ve bought Mill Hill petite beads now, but just haven’t had the chance to try them yet… too many priorities to get done first. Hopefully before the end of the year 🤞🏻🤞🏻
As always you have done beautiful stitches on your projects. When I saw the pictures from StitchesSewBeautiful I knew I had to go to that etsy shop and look at the rest of their pattern. I immediately fell in love when I saw the Victorian Santa pattern and had to buy it. I also will buy the Yuletide Dragon and their little Mouse Designs. I recently bought the Gamer Girl pattern from Medusa as a gift for my boyfriend. But as soon I am done with that project I will stitch the Santa. I can´t help myself. Its just so beautiful. Thank you for sharing and happy stitching!
Thank you so much. That Santa is gorgeous and will look amazing stitched up. I’ve had to stop myself looking at the site otherwise I’ll buy a whole tonne of them and I’ll be upset that I can’t start them. I’ve learnt to just buy charts now when I know I can start them. My tastes have changed a lot over the years and I have to be more selective now. But I still enjoy watching everyone else purchase the goodies 🥰
So lovely to see you and your beautiful stitching again. Your finish is amazing. I hope that those smaller beads work for you. Thank you for sharing another full coverage designer. I love full coverage and I'm always on the lookout for something new and interesting. Have a wonderful time on your holiday. Happy stitching 😊
Thank you very much! After a few suggestions I’ve now ordered some Mill Hill Petite beads which should be perfect, so fingers crossed I have a positive update on the next video 🤞🏻
Your fairy garden project is beautiful. Hoping you can sort out the beading issue. I wonder if that person asking about cross stitching magazines is talking about actual magazines from the newsagent with articles and letters from readers etc rather than the shopping catalogues that you mentioned. I love buying Crossstitcher Magazine and The World of Cross stitching from the newsagent. I think they come out monthly and are the good old fashioned magazines to read with patterns to stitch. Have a great time in Bali.
Thank you so much! I’ve bought Mill Hill Petite beads now so I’m very hopefully they will suit. Hopefully I can get the beading done before the end of the year. Yes it’s possible, but from the way she worded it on FB I understood it to mean she was looking for a catalogue that shows charts and kits available for purchase. I have a stash of magazines that I can’t seem to part with. I enjoy getting them every so often and planning Future stitches and then I get side tracked with others 😂😂
So good to see your update. Fairy garden is amazing I sure hope your new beads work well for you. Lovely new pattern you are stitching. Safe travels Happy stitching Patty
I have been thinking about Fairy Garden nonstop since I saw your video last month. Such a beautiful piece! I’m hoping to start it next year. Fingers crossed that your plan works for the beading on it!
Oh that’s fantastic. You won’t be sorry… it’s a beautiful design and so lovely to stitch. I’ve ended up ordering some Mill Hill Petite beads so hopefully by the next update I’ll have some positive news 🥰
I hope the smaller beads work for the Fairy Garden. It will look even more beautiful with the sparkles. Thank you for showing your new start. I paused the video, went to the Stitches Sew Beautiful site and ordered two designs. Enjoy your Bali vacation.
I ended up ordering some Mill Hill Petite beads after several suggestions. I think they’ll be perfect, so I’m really looking forward to them arriving. Oh that’s fantastic. Which charts did you order
@@TheFlosstubeStitcher I ordered Woman in a Yellow Dress and Teacup. I’m currently stitching a full coverage Millennium Falcon from Star Wars for my son which will take another 2-3 months. I may have to break down and stitch Woman in a Yellow Dress on weekends. I’ll be stitching it on 28ct, 1 over 1. I’m retired so I have plenty of time to stitch 🤗
@@vickikeniston5525 Oh I already know which one Woman In A Yellow Dress is - she’s on my wish list 😍. I’m sure you’re son will love his Star Wars design!!! I’m so looking forward to the day I retire so I can stitch more.
I’m not sure which one you’re referring to. The only project I’m currently working on that’s not compatible with Pattern Keeper is the Mirabilia Mermaids of the Deep Blue. That one I’ve had too old school photocopying off the chart and using highlighters to mark off Finished stitches. If that’s not the one you were referring to, please let me know.
Fairy garden is beautiful ❤ I use mill hill 15’s in both cross stitch and in jewelry beading work. The 15’s should work fine on that count. Looks like it was charted with 11’s, which seems quite large for the fabric shrinkage. Was it charted for an undyed fabric originally? We are never tired of seeing your HAED progress. I love seeing it come to life! It’s going to be another Carolyn masterpiece, just like the dragon you did for your son way back when 😊 Thank you for the referral for the new stitching site…I am always looking for new projects. One site that you didn’t mention is Charting Creations; they have great charts as well. And I hope you have a wonderful vacay to Bali…that would be a dream vacation!
Thank you so much for the suggestion. If looked into the Petites originally but didn’t realize all I had to do was change the first number to a 4. I’ve now ordered some and can’t Waite until they arrive. I’m sure they’ll be perfect. The design was charted for a hand dyed fabric from Fiberlicious, but funny enough no fabric count was suggested 🤷♀️ I knew I’d forgotten one of the sites… I’ve never ordered from that one and that’s probably why I couldn’t remember it 😂 Thank you so much for your lovely comments and well wishes 🥰
Precioso todo!! Una maravilla. El cuadro Boreal quedará increíble, no entiendo como lo coses, es cruz completa con 2 hebras y aida 18? Gracias y feliz vacaciones
Thank you so much! Yes you’re right… 2 strands of floss on 18ct aida. A lot of people like to do theirs with 1 strand on 25 or 28ct fabric, but this is what I prefer.
A year ago I was on an Australian cruise to Sidney,Melbourne and Adelaide. I thought “wouldn’t it be nice to meet Carolyn”? Unfortunately you were having a huge storm and we had to miss your port. Maybe next time.
I did look into them initially but struggled to find them… Not realizing that all I had to do was change the guest number to a 4. I’ve ordered some now and I’m sure they’ll do the trick. Thank you so much for the suggestion 🥰
I loved seeing you again. Your cross stitching is so lovely. I love the fabric for the mermaid piece. Enjoy your getaway and be safe.

Thank you so much, we had a great time! I’m looking forward to showing my Mira progress on the next video 🥰
Really enjoyed this video - my first having just found you. A great range of projects that I am looking forward to seeing your progress on.

Love it all, love the chat and have a lovely holiday 😁

Thank you so much Patty. I’ve just ordered some Mill Hill Petite beads - I think they’ll be better. Can’t wait until they arrive 🥰
Boreal Forest looks lovely, good choice!
Have a wonderful time in Bali!

Mill Hill also has a Petite bead that should fix the problem with the beading.
Thank you so much - I’ve just ordered some and will definitely use them instead 🥰
