I have zero issues with that shower curtain, cool! Much better than just a curtain that sticks/clings to you. My issue is with the corner shower with no depth. Way, WAY too small for normal use.

@@Erin-Thor thanks for watching. It is a very small shower.

@@JauntJunkies - Airstream has a few corner showers, but they go deeper, meaning there is a longer side. I wish that type of design was more common. 😊

@@Erin-Thor for sure. We always are thinking if we combined these 4 trailers together with their best features then that would be a perfect rig.

Oh wow. I wanted to edit a post I made a little earlier today but instead deleted it so I’m going to try this again. I took possession of my Lance 1995 on August 24 of 2021, four months after the promised delivery date. It seemed relatively sturdy and well-made, and I loved that the door closes tight like a submarine even if it’s a bit difficult to open. That said, at least every other one of the few trips we have made has ended with something needing repairs. The first trip out the stove wouldn’t work and we could not get an appointment for maintenance for months, Finally found a guy who did warranty work and made house calls to come and save the day. The trailer is in the shop right now after waiting weeks for an appointment to take it in and it still is in the queue to be diagnosed.. Our last camping trip was in May and the AC was not cooling. When we dropped off the trailer at a certified Lance repair place we were told that it probably is going to need a brand new AC unit. What!? This trailer is not even three years old, but the warranty on the AC is just for two years. Apparently, the AC units cannot be recharged and you have to buy an entire new unit! In addition, half of the lights have gone out on the back of the trailer, the GFI plug has been blinking for months for no apparent reason… The water faucet in the bathroom has stopped working, and there is a giant rip in the large pull down shade over the dinette. The major name dealership we took our trailer in to said that for every item on the list we will be charged $99 just for maintenance to “touch it“ before even any work is done or parts are ordered. You don’t have to touch the shade to see that it needs replacing. We took that off the list. Duct tape will fix it, but it’s going to clash with the decor. I suppose I will just brush my teeth at the kitchen sink as long as it is still working. I am disappointing to say the least, and the fun/aggravation ratio has tilted to the aggravation side. My boat and pool together aren’t near the money pit this is becoming. And to think that I was considering an upgrade. I’m now thinking of selling the trailer and upgrading my boat instead. Less problems, less work, more fun. Now I’m thinking that getting a travel trailer was a dream that has turned into a nightmare.

I hate to hear this. But, it happens with the most expensive brands or the cheapest brands. We as consumers should demand better from the RV industry. I did a lot of research before we purchased. I spent a lot of time on Lance forums. It seemed Lance was having as many issues as anyone. Lots of people saying they wouldn’t buy Lance again. While I like some Lance Features. I just don’t see them being $25k more than a similar trailer from another brand. I think a lot of it is hype.

We have a 2021 1995 Lance. What attracted us was dual axle for safety, large tanks (45/45/45) 3 full propane tanks, 400 watts of solar, full access to all trailer with slide in, heated tank bays, voluminous storage, large fridge, separate sofa and a full queen double that can be entered on either side and the lack of wood in construction. What would I add or change? I would have electric heating pads under the tanks. I believe that they have improved the new 1995’s with quieter heating and air conditioning and a water saver hot water system. The windows have also been increased and air flow improved. This is a trailer for people that like to move frequently and travel far.

Lance has always had a good reputation for a quality build. Little pricy, but you get what you pay for. This 1995 is a great example. One thing i always look for is if the trailer has slide-outs, is everything still accessible with the slides in? Far too many don’t. Great video!. 😊

We looked closely at the Lance 1995. We also looked at the Rockwood Minilite 2205. Same floor plan. We ended up going with the Rockwood. In the end while the Lance had a slightly better build quality. We didn’t think it was $25K better. Lance has lots of problems, just like every brand. When you look at how a Lance is built. They basically use the same building techniques as most of the big boys. In that respect I think Rockwood is doing a better job.

Great review. Really like the windows and especially the screen door. That is the first screen door like that I’ve seen. Great features overall. Lance makes a great TT. My only criticism with Lance is how thin the walls are and this the poor insulation.
The battery trays are great until you upgrade to lithium then the batteries are too far apart. So in the long run the battery compartments are a very bad design.
