First Story: So many red flags...the whole family could've died. The dad was a complete idiot. If you want to do something right go buy food and give it out to those in need. A soup kitchen or a Thanksgiving drive.

Given this was very late at night, how could you NOT see someone following you? If this story is true, its possible the person stalked her for a while prior to meeting her at the best buy.
NGL I got no clue where the nearest police station is.

So fun fact: My boyfriend and I were on our way back from the store, and he got mad at some guy that drove by us/cut us off or whatever when we went over a bridge. My boyfriend flipped the guy off as he drove past us, aaaand the truck turned around once it came off the bridge and started following us. They guy followed us along back roads for a while until we got on the highway. I gave my boyfriend a lecture on letting shit go and not pissing off strangers because that guy could have ran us off the road (we were in a car and he was in a big truck) and he hasn’t done anything like it since.
Indeed. It was not a smart idea to go back home if you know someone is after you.

yeah not a weird question at all really it's completely normal, if you need a pc for gaming especially it's important to know what kind of games you would even be playing so you don't blow 3k on a pc to run solitaire

That one was pretty infuriating. Gee, someone who is clearly dangerous was determined enough to follow you out of a store, hunt you down, and now knows where you live, guess you should let him get away with everything to avoid a little paperwork. There's a good chance he might just show up again, he could do so at his leisure. He might even still stalk her to this day. Some people just want to get snatched.
Exactly It’s baffling! The fact that she dropped the case just because there was “too much work”. Like for real? The authorities seemed determined to catch the guy yet she didn’t seemed fazed at all of how this guy could find her again or do this to someone else. Such foolishness and laziness.

The fact that the person in the 2nd story didn’t try and do anything to find the person angers me beyond belief because someone else can get killed just because she thought it would be “too much work”
That ticked me off too, especially considering how many times cops _aren't_ willing to help someone being stalked. It's almost like a golden opportunity and she was like, "Nah. I'm too busy doing nothing important."
It's not her responsibility to keep others safe and it's not her fault if he hurts someone else. Despite her saying that she thought it was too much work, it probably had more to do with her being young, inexperienced and genuinely afraid of him. Even if she had spent the money on a lawyer (assuming she had that at all), what would have been his punishment? Women get raped and the courts give perpetrators less than a year in jail or in the case of rapist Brett Turner who was caught in the act of raping her, 6 months. Bffr
