My father made one years ago for me as a child winding copper around a cork, and using a horseshoe magnet and paperclips for brushes. Any video to get people “esp young children” interested in electricity or electronics is great! I’ve got over 25 years experience now in consumer electronics repair. At least 30% of this video's length could have been cut either through superspeed or a simple cut. Show the step in its entirety once, then use edits to get past the repetition in a way that the viewers will enjoy. You'll have a video that's far more engaging and will retain viewers better. I have RUclips red, so no ads. If there were 10+ ads on a 10 minute video, then you need to re-evaluate your audience.

But I'm not sure where you live, but we don't have chemical or medical shops aplenty here, and whoever wants to acquire material from one needs some type of credentials or approval to do so, not just open willy nilly to the public. Also, I can think of many other things to use in my DIY projects, and a syringe would rarely be my first choice, even if I had a pile of them, which is why I wonder why they are used *so* often in various DIY videos. It's like every corner store there has them. These are not insulin sized either. Do they come with hypodermic needles or just the syringe? Here we have hardware stores and can get all kinds of pipe/tubing, fittings etc for a few dollars if we need something tubular. Not criticizing, it just seems an odd choice compared to what we have over here.
