Yes! A Swan video! Finally!! I feel it often gets overlooked as far as the on property hotels go, even though it has a fantastic location. I have great memories from two stays there. Even learnt how to drive in the Swan’s parking lot 😀🦢

Swan/Dolphin are my go to at WDW. Sometimes, I can find rates less than a Disney moderate, you just have to make sure you factor in the "resort fee" and the parking fee when comparing. I actually like that it's not Disney themed, I get enough of that in the parks. Back in the before times, you could get your packages shipped back to them like you could WDW resorts. I just stay in whichever one is less.

Great dining but then a bit of a mildew smell in one area. Your video is right on though. Best hotel for the money considering the price is lower than most moderate resorts at disney.

Just cancelled stay at All Star Sports to stay at Swan.....MUCH better hotel and I SAVED about a dollar a night. (Nope not a huge difference in price, but that means I spent about a DELUXE hotel price for a motel!) All Stars are NOT worth that price. If you have to pay about $200/night for an All Star room, go off site. The amount you will spend on Lyft or Uber is still less than the difference in prices of hotels.

Just stayed at the Swan on our trip in June for the Flower and garden festival. We enjoyed our stay and loved being so close to Epcot. Rooms are nice, they are a bit dated and they need more device charging outlets. Not nearly enough. We will be back with a portable power strip. 😮😊

    I'll NEVER stay here again.
As DVC members and frequent Disney visitors, my wife and I often visit Disney World even when our limited DVC points run out. We usually stay at value resorts during this time, as we've been happy with them just like we're happy with the Deluxe Villas from DVC. Since the Swan showed very competitive rates, we bit for a five night stay last year. What we were unaware of is that Dolphn and Swan are no longer on the transportation system, so Magic Kindom is an ordeal to get to with their Mears buses. We were also surprised by huge resort fees and a substantial parking fee that made the price much higher than we expected. Decent enough room, but no Disney feel and crazy high price for something that I don't consider deluxe.

It's a weird tradeoff. Magic Kingdom is hell to get to, Animal Kingdom is almost impossible, but Hollywood and Epcot are in walking distance or a cute boat ride away. Can make sense for some trips.

@@marshamason3295 Disney owns the land. It was leased for 99 years to the developers. The developers built and own the hotels. Marriott (inherited from Starwood) was contracted to operate the hotels. I guess similar to Disney Springs Resort Area? And I'm done researching - it's too complicated. And unimportant - Marriott points work, and you're in Disney. (Now look at the Bonnett Creek resorts (Hilton brands) on private property in a nature preserve surrounded by Disney.)

what is the point of making a mandatory fee for something, why don't they just add the price into the overall stay price and just say that when you book a room it comes with it, or make it where if you don't want to buy it you don't have to (when i looked it up, it said that it is now $40 and you have to pay it nightly, and said that all it comes with is basically just internet, fitness classes, spa?, and allowing you to do boat rentals... it may come with more idk I've never been to that one but it doesn't say anything else on their website )
