Craig is really a great man and the best talk show host there is, he handled this tragedy with so much respect, class and humanity (as he already did in the past in similar unfortunate situations). Also inviting Larry King shows how intelligent he is, he was the best possible guest for tonight's show. My thoughts and my heart are with the people of Boston.
What's even more sad to me is that I checked the date and was going through a mental rolodex of tragedies from around that time, and I couldn't recall which one it was. We have a simply ludicrous amount of domestic terrorism in this country.
His accent gets a bit stronger and you can tell he's serious about what he's saying. I really like it when he's honest about whatever goes through his mind
Yeah, it seems like it gets stronger whenever he's being more serious about something- even some interviews where he's on other people's shows have it!
Antonio, I agree with You totally. I hope that I'm not rude on a day like this to point out some regular Craig stuff.... Have You guys noticed that Craig's Scottish accent went much stronger during the opening?!
I didn't notice, but I know that when I speak to people who don't have my dialect, I tone down my dialect without thinking about it and I know the same is true for many others.
@Gilad Gur I noticed his stronger accent too, I guess he got emotional. I did that as well (switch back to English with my mother tongue accent) when I'm getting emotional
A show with a 5 min monologue , no tweets , and Kristen Bell then Larry King coming on as guest... That would be the best late night show ever with Craig
Eugene Charles Larry King is a fucking strange bastard and a terrible talkshow host. Only in America could he be considered a broadcasting legend. What do you have to do to be a broadcasting legend in the state's anyway? Host a talkshow for over 15 or 20 years? HAHAHA!!!
Is it just me or is Rob Lowe kinda a horrible human being? I mean how many people did he know who didn't make it through that "necessary" crazy time of life? Oh well, great actor and great episode.
Based on what I've seen, Rob is pretty cool. Now in the 80s, who the hell knows. When you're high and fucked up all the time, it's a miracle if you're a good person.
Great show. The only thing always rubs me wrong, is when a good conversation turns in ego stroking via complimenting their "not so big" egos. Look I respect you and everything you represent but dudes.. you stay in the position you are in today because your egos took you there, there is certain dishonesty that pushes my buttons whenever celebrities talks like that, its like that girl you know who slept with all your friends, that loves to talk how easy all her girlfriends are..
This was one of the best parts in the whole year... and you know why? Because there was no Geoff and we could just enjoy the pure awesomeness of his Holy Chattiness..Craig was at his best when he was just by himself and was communicating with the audience...The Geoff bit was working for a while, but now its just repetetive and its becoming rather boring actually.

Haha. With good friends, countrymen, or in serious times its definitely more apparent. Love me some fucking Craigy
Love you Ferguson. Class act. And I can never get enough of Larry King.
"it's ok to laugh" i salute you sir
Been home with flu these days and seen so many TLLS eps. This has been the best one by far.
I made a little research. It happens each time he speaks from his heart. When he spoke about Britney Spears for example.
I miss this show. Craig is so cool.
with all what happened in Boston (our thoughts are with you) this, was a great show tonight
good job Craig you handled it well
this is one of the best shows from craig i have seen

Most Scots, even when they loose they're accent a bit, regain it a bit when they get angry or passionate about something ( or when we get drunk ;-) )
Colin Ford not just Scots, happens to all people with accent. i know too well. happens with my polish accent as well
yes I have noticed his scottish accent popped up. It is because he was speaking in his true voice.
Rob Lowe should DEFENITLY come back
rare no Geoff/Secretariat sighting

"So let's say you're talking to Will Smith..."
AHAHAHAHAHAA
I didn't notice, but I know that when I speak to people who don't have my dialect, I tone down my dialect without thinking about it and I know the same is true for many others.
It did! I was going to remark upon that. Much stronger than usual.

the tweets are cool sometimes: "You ever been to Dover?" -- the best show ever would just be a longer show! Or if it just stayed on air! ;)

Eugene Charles I love the tweets, it's guaranteed Geoff time!
Revolver someone is jalous!!
@@Revolver1981 the man has been in showbusiness since the '50s. He's been relevant for over half a century.
Try that kid.
12:44 - it's like Sherlock Holmes
rip Tom Menino
I'm a straight man. Why do I find Rob Lowe attractive?
Is it just me or is Rob Lowe kinda a horrible human being? I mean how many people did he know who didn't make it through that "necessary" crazy time of life? Oh well, great actor and great episode.
anything worth doing has a risk.
