Roll on tomorrow can’t wait for this I’m from Lancaster myself so great to see it on the game. That footpath is still there today what u mentioned on the bridge leaving lancaster it’s quite a popular spot for enthusiasts to
Given that there were two time period versions of the Isle of Wight route there's no reason this couldn't be done. Sometimes I think it would be cool to go the other way too for example de-modernising a route like E&G and filling it with push-pull services and 1st generation DMU's.
@@TheBritishAce I think at the time it was decided that it was outdated and expensive to maintain, although it had a good rehabilitation record. It's now open to the public as an attraction / museum.
The castle at 18:13 is known as "HMP Lancaster Castle", as due to its thick castle walls and design it was converted into a prison for a while. It's now open to the public as a tourist attraction though. Really interesting if you're ever in the area.
The level crossing where you mention about seeing the coastline is at Hest Bank - there's a great chippy just there, and I have spent many happy hours eating fish and chips and watching the trains go by there!
The branch line at Carnforth is the Furness Line that goes off to Barrow-in-Furness and onward up the Cumbria Coast to Carlisle (the slow route!). I can't wait to get my hands on this route, as it's my "local" :)
@@slovakballmapper he has early access and dovetail games provided him with a key to show the route off 1 day before initial release to hype everyone up
Clearly you don't normally watch this guy, because he prefers driving without the hud, however he hasn't fully learned the route yet, which is why he's using the hud. Also, if you don't enjoy watching his videos, just turn it off. Because there's literally no need to type out rude comments.
I think the train enthusiasts are more excited that there's a toilet than toilet enthusiasts 😅🤣
🤣🤣
This is excellent, will be getting it, but i so miss out as im PS4, nice xmas pressie to myself with a PS5!!

As we have 150s, 350s and 390's I really hope one of the excellent modders can make a modern-ish timetable at some point.
Would be cool!

Fun fact - Lancaster Castle was a Prison (HMP Lancaster) up until 2011.
Oh wow, pretty cool - why not anymore?

@ReelFilmProductions Well fair enough, but please don't be rude in the comments just because you can do something he can't, it's just not needed.
@@Greggs30806 Wouldn't say its rude, but what you have said is duly noted
