Try "Gold" originally by Kiara. She needed all sorts of electronics and computers to get the timing all right. These guys just sat down on a couch and sang it. It really shows off their almost preternatural ability at timing and synchronization.
Just as a side slip, the bass (Avi Kaplan) left them after about seven years and wandered off into the woods to do his own thing. Watch his video "Change On The Rise". It's magnificent!!

Hahahahah! I love the hand wave at the end. (And they sing this live, BTW.) There are SO many amazing PTX performances. They still blow my mind even though I've been a fan for years. This is one of my faves. Thanks for doing this one! I also love: "Gold," "Let's Get it On," "Dog Days," "Love Lockdown," and "Born to be Wild," (those 4 are from their Sing-Off performances); "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy," "Say Something," "Amazing Grace," ... There are just so many.

Because it's Michael Jackson's songs, this is the best of the Evolution videos, but the Evolution of Ariana Grande is pretty impressive, and the moment when Mitch, Scott and Kirstin are simultaneously singing three different songs is awesome. (Mitch has "Thank You, Next", Scott has "No Tears Left to Cry", and Kirstin has "Honeymoon Avenue".) Check out all of their evolutions, which (as a bonus) don't ever get copyright claims, because SME doesn't own them.

Bohemian Rhapsody, Imagine, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (yes, really!), and the Daft Punk medley. So, so many to choose from but those are my first recommendations. Loved your reaction to this and definitely subscribing x
One thing about MJ that will really change how you look at his music is the fact he never learned to read/write sheet music so instead would beatbox to tape then bring all the layers together to have something for the session musicians to copy for the studio recording. This is why they can still put out his songs as all the ideas he had he would record so they have all the vocal parts of the songs from base idea to finished idea. He started at 8 and didn't stop over the next 42 years.

I love and am blown away by every Pentatonix song, but I think their most impressive for me is New Rules x Are You That Somebody which is a Dua Lipa and Aaliyah mashup and it’s absolutely flawless. Great reaction!

I’m sure that someone has recommended you watch their PopSpring 2016 love performance with 3 originals and this MJ evolution. Well worth the 15min to see them do this, not only live but with Excellent sounds quality l!
You want to see them make other singers feel bad. You should watch their beginning. The Sing-Off Journey. You will know the exact moment that everyone else knew they were fighting for number 2🤣

Heh, just be aware, PTX has done HUNDREDS of videos, so you have your work cut out for you. But what fun and awe inspiring work it shall be! Since you've done a lot of Queen and Elvis I recommend their covers of Bohemian Rhapsody and Can't Help Falling in Love. Also their grammy winners for arrangement: Daft Punk (A medley of 7 of their songs), and Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (An instrumental with no words performed by a band with no instrumets.)
And that's just straight up PTX, none of the side projects like Kevin, Kirstie, and Avi's individual work, or Superfruit - Mitch and Scott's now defunct comedy vlog/music channel/band.
There's a theory going around that this group is actually composed of the most advanced robots we know of :D

So glad you enjoyed it. This is definitely one of their best evolutions, and one of their best performances. We Pentaholics will follow you and we are loyal. One thing I would suggest though is if you're reacting to a cover of any song and you're not familiar with the original song, please always listen to that first (not react, but listen). That way you have a comparison to see PTX's take on the song (which 9 times out of 10 is going to be better). I agree that this will be hard to top, but you could start with: Gold (Kiiara cover); Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen); Imagine (John Lennon); Problem (Ariana Grande). Just note: if the video is from 2017 or before, it will have Avi Kaplan as the bass (the guy with the beard). From 2018 on, the bass is Matt Sallee (baby face). Both are phenominal. You might also want to check out their three grammy wins. Daft Punk, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (a song without words, by a group without instruments); and Jolene (duet with Dolly Parton).

The trio at the back are brilliant however, Avi (bass) & Kevin (beatboxer) their transitions were flawless. Just one problem for me was you had your little square half covering Avi face....and as a huge Avi fan I was bummed lol. Also he is nearly always sitting on the left of screen....just saying.
