Hello Nihara. This video was very informative. My request is, if you can keep posting videos of such cost effective alternatives that can be used while building/ renovating a house. Vox was a very good example of an alternative to wood. Similarly 1 single video which can summarise all alternatives. Eg: 1) Replacement material (that looks like marble) that can be used instead of marble for TV units 2) Plastic mouldings that can be used instead of wooden mouldings and many more examples...

Hello Nihara ji, you are the best interior designer I have come across. I live in Noida, where lakhs of mostly working class people live, who can get interior works done in patches on weekends. Do you take whole home interior work or can take small contracts also. I want to get my foyer entrance ceiling and another common gallery connecting bedrooms covered with stained glass and left side entrance wall and another wall meant for tv to be covered with stone cladding and coverage of open area above kitchen cabinets. Also want to ask can new tiles be fixed on existing tiles and what is the material used for that and does it take too long to dry up and mean one can't walk on top of it for two days.

As for the video, it was again very informative. But I feel a lil detail about fixing false ceiling lights should have been added too. Like I have few questions such as... Can we cut through it as we please? Will it be able to hold heavy lightings as the material looks nice but weak.
Thanks Navendu. One can drill through this ceiling or cut with a hexa blade. It holds panel, downlighters and COB lights. For surface decorative lights you will have to pre plan it and give a plywood base like in Gypsum ceiling.

I am looking for design ideas without false ceiling. reason being nowadays construction quality is usually poor and i want to avoid too much hammering in the ceiling. can we use rafters on bare ceiling? can you pls make a video on that. 2nd, how to get best value in less budget while still maintaining good quality and durability? after initial work, i want to avoid any renovation or repair for next 10-15 years except regular painting! is it a myth or a reasonable expectation? pls make a video on above themes.
This is going to be a good choice to do the balcony false ceiling. A toughened glass balcony with this in a slanting shape will look right IMO... 😇
