We ranked every character based on how strong we think they are in lore, all the way up to jade and firefly

I'd like to disagree on the Asta ranking only on the "Minimum Wage" part, because she certainly doesn't have a paycheck that corresponds with it when she does her shopping list

I think you're underestimating the IPC, from what we saw of Aventurine with his Cornerstone he was leagues above almost all of the others in that tier. Considering his Cornerstone was broken and he could have levelled part of the city I feel like that's a much higher level than anything someone like Gepard or Clara would be capable of. They said the broken Cornerstones effects were greatly reduced so yeah a full Cornerstone is pretty scary. They are basically partial Emanators.
That’s a fair point, and without seeing the full power these people possess it’s hard to determine where exactly they rank. Until I can see a fight of these guys against jing yuan or full power Dan heng I’m leaving it here for now but you still make an excellent point
To build upon your statement, the way I understood it, the Cornerstones relate to the Emanators in the same (similar) manner Divine Keys relate to Herrscherrs (from Hi3). While the Cornerstones are enough to contend with an Emanator, the people using them are... more squishy. If the IPC tried to bring out the full power of a cornerstone, they'd very likely pay for it with their lives for doing so.
The thing about the Trailblazer is that they are still dealing with the effects of just waking up with no memories. Similar to March but with only a year or so (at most) of experience by the time we're hitting Penacony. They are theoretically the strongest character on the list, but without the experience or knowledge to really draw on that strength.
Nah I understand that and it’s completely fair. Right now not having the access to those prior memories or experience still means they have to rank a bit lower until the trailblazer gains that higher level ability again
@@Cpagan722 Oh, by far. I'm not saying the TB should rank any higher than they do. I just find it interesting how they function based on a whole host of things.
It makes me wonder how strong they were back when they ran with Kafka, before getting a Stellaron shoved into them. It's likely they were stronger than they currently show but far weaker than the potential they now hold.
Some people may not have noticed but welt deactivate star of eden druing achron's time stop (check cut scene if you don't believe me)
Yeah, he is immune to time hax. The Second Eruption manga shows this when he used Star of Eden on the moon against Sirin. Not only that, but he was seconds away from unleashing a blackhole before Acheron stepped up. If it wasn't for Acheron, Adventurine would most likely be dead. 😅
Definitely lowballed SamFly she is far above the rest of the SH and lets not forget shes roughly around 100k years old and has fought against Swarm Emanators and she also dumpstered Blade like Jingliu so i'm not saying shes stronger then them but shes definitely on the same lvl.

I don't think she destroyed Izumo, rather she caused it's destruction with daring to square up and exploding the blackhole, which is still a big feat mind you just that ultimately the destruction of izumo and takamagahara wasn't by her hand unlike firefly who exploded a planet with her SAM suit alone. Still prolly deserves God tier as an emenator aswell.

@pizzavert4020 hmmm, from the vid itself and my understanding, after the orbital strike, things were level and stable after, it also seemed to erase the swarm mother and it's little crotch children that was in the blast zone without it exploding like it does in game when they die.
Now, with the tear sprouting tree, I don't know if it is meant to be metaphorical or literal, but activating the SAM suit's full potential is most probably real as we see firefly continue to use that form, and I believe it's implied that the green Lazer shown cutting split glamoth is from firefly as a desperate kamikaze move to finish off the stragglers. (Ps. I don't get those peeps saying why didn't she just do that to begin with. One, that's beyond stupid cause not only would she have killed all of her comrades, but two, she only did it cause everyone was dead and as a final desperate stand against what's left of the swarm. Peeps use your common sense, why would activate a nuke in the begin of battle with your allies in blast range, most if not all the decisions during the battle were desperate moves to win the already losing battle and was only done when no other option was left.)
I think your far too underestimating the High Cloud Quintet and far too overestimating Welt due to him possessing the Star of Eden
You need to keep in mind, Welt isn't up there in the levels of the High Cloud Quintet, since we do know that after the battle with Phantylia, he was wizzing as March put it, and we do know that majority of the fight we were being carried by both Dan Heng IL and Jing Yuan, and I'm not underestimating Welt, but we need to mention that Welt is no longer as powerful as he was back in the 2nd Eruption, he has lost a lot of his power, especially if he were to try to go all out, he would die within seconds if he were to do it, especially right now in the story
As for the Black Hole, thing since that would be the place everyone would comment on, then I will say this, the Star of Eden shouldn't be powerful enough to destroy an Entire Planet, since after all, the Herrscher that was used to make the Star of Eden could only destroy the Eurasian Continet, and that was when it was giving it's life to make said Black Hole, and the only thing that it did do was the disappearance of the Eurasian Continent, and with the Divine Keys not being as powerful than there Herrscher counterpart(with the exception of Judgement of Shamash), then the Star of Eden at it's peak should be weaker than this feat, and we do know a lot of characters are powerful enough to destroy Planets, or have tank Planet Destroying Attacks, just look at Firefly at her animation, she destroyed an Entire Planet by herself, that feat alone is stronger than 99% of the Entire Cast of Hi3
It should be noted that TB survived almost a full minute going solo against Ruan Mei's recreation of the bug emanator (also Ruan Mei said that she would have helped TB against the bug if we would have just asked, so I think she should be way higher up)
Below Emanators is the Trailblazer, and below them is Welt, then below him are the other characters. Because portable black hole disguised as a cane.
Welts probably above the trailblazers to be honest. He wasn’t the herscherr of reason for nothing. He also has the star of Eden so there’s that

Right now welt stronger by far than trailblazer,
but after all, trailblazer is the mc so he will probably get very op eventually sooo, it’s hard to tell right now🤷♂️..
W video! Welt and Acheron is a 50/50 at this point. After playing through 2.2, I think they are very close in strength. Also, Welt's blackhole functions like a real one, meaning it also has time dialation. Even though he is no longer a Herrscher, he has the Star of Eden, which has some crazy abilities in the manga, like recreating a singularity with the mass of a star, summoning blackholes, controlling gravity, and attacking higher dimensional entities. We have yet to see the guy actually use his full abilities, so I understand why Acheron is number 1 atm. But I'd say it could go either way. It all depends on if Acheron has a counter to Welt's singularity rebuild, which is basically the center of a blackhole where time and space no longer exist anymore. Other than that, I agree with everything else. 👍
The thing with Welt though is that, since he is no longer a herrscher all of his power comes from the star of eden in his cane. Seperate Welt from his cane and he technically has no actual powers he would be an average guy just with a shit ton of knowledge and wisdom.
@@CG-hf2cd True. Although he does have 1% of his Herrscher authority left according to Apho and in-game dialog. But that won't be much help in a fight.
He is a herrscher. In the events of APHO Bronya returned her HoR core to him. He still has it.
We may have seen welt blackhole in battle mechanic/ as a player.. but Welt has never shown it in the story, so we must not see Welt power just from that because battle mechanic usually not Canon in the Lore. For example Qingque tiles does nuke damage when build right. Welt blackhole work as the real one which mean it has the property of "time and space manipulation"(?). But mostly that blackhole was just part of Welt's cane power because Welt own source of power was sealed in the moon by Kiana so he only rely on the pathstrider power source, maybe most of the people don't notice but Welt activate star of Eden to Release a blackhole when at the climax fighting againts aventurine, but quickly Disturbed By Acheron.. DURING Acheron Time-froze domain Welt DEACTIVATE Star of Eden because maybe he realize aventurine plan to "died" in Acheron hand not actually DIED by Welt. Welt himself is somehow immune to All type of time Dilation/anomaly such as time slow/stop
Welp id say Firefly is at least on demigod tier now after that short.
One thing that i just realized is that, if Welt manages to understand how a stellaron works and how it is made he could just make them

that also isn’t the real her, it’s a puppet robot without any displayed fighting ability through the main story or side story. Call me biased if you want but for the info we are given this is valid I feel
I did say that but as Cris said the Herta that we see is a puppet and not the real her, so that's why she is low

Acheron mentioned in the story that Welt's black hole is at the very least as dangerous as her, so there's that.
Also, Yanqing and Himeko should be bumped up. Yanqing is just unlucky in his match-ups in the story. And ain't no way Clara is above Himeko lmao
Guinaifen as well, something about smashing stone plates on her chest, throwing bombs/fireworks etc.
I guess this is just based on perceived lore, because QQ is the strongest 4 star in the game by a long shot. God tier if you're going off ACTUAL strength lol

In his prime is more questionable but I do agree welt is coasting off of reputation as of this point. It’s a damn good reputation tho

ATTANTION all of the animation one don't have English dub(but the Lore one has) so you can watch it either Chinese dub or Japanese dub.. I personaly recommend Japanese dub because Its more Recognized when it comes to anime style game.. but in the end Its up to you.. AND the Chinese dub has regular title on the video, the Japanese one has " Japanese dub version" in the title

The foxian tale event really weakened the trailblazer image, he doesn’t have to be omnipotent but there’s no way he should have been controlled like that. Even if it’s to progress the story I think that was a bad decision
Honestly the Welt deal comes down to 2 factors for me.
Us seeing him actually do anything in the Star Rail story so we can more accurately judge his power, and a more conclusive answer on how strong Aeons are compared to Herrschers on average, and thus by proxy Emanators. I do believe the story currently portrays Acheron as being stronger than Welt but the debate will never really end I feel.

I would put blade in demigod mainly cause he’s just immortal and can’t fucking die
Even at his height, Welt still get bodied by a 12-14 years old girl with fuck huge trauma-based mental instability that just got her power for a few months at most.
He only managed to "beat" Sirin because everyone and their mothers jumped her. Because before that he got beaten, badly.
But the most obvious example is that he had never managed to scale more than a small continent.
While Archeron fucked 2 planets and their entire population. Later on she destroy a solar system-wide dreamscape within a dreamscape. Something Welt wasn't able to do.
Welt is in a sense another retired veteran.
And then there is Firefly herself
She fucked a planet in her last hurrah attack.
Yanqing is better than probably 99% of the fighters on the Luofu, but he keep facing that 1%. He keep getting defeated in story, including when facing himself.
And that reminded me, Trailblazer is definitely stronger than Yanqing since he/she managed to beat him into unconsciousness.
In that case, a couple of the stronger fighters in Belobog could also bodied Yanqing.
Beside that, I also feel that the Average but Good weapon category is underused. Asta is definitely NOT a minimum wage worker. With the power of Money, buying a fleet of star dreadnoughts is apparently pocket change for her.
I would say boothill is definitely same level as jingyuan and DHIL, and I could make an argument for firefly as, more specifically Sam is demigod tier technology but great list nonetheless 😂

Serval has extensive military training. I'd say above average or at least on par with Yukong. Other than that I more or less agree with this.

It may be flawed thinking but I’d also consider who could beat whom in a fight based on feats. Which is why I feel that Yanqing got lowballed cause can anyone imagine the Belobog people in dangerous tier standing up to anyone in the demigod tier? Seele, Bronya, and Clara (Svarog) are a no to me. Yanqing stood up to most of them. Which are far better feats than we have of someone like Seele

I'd compare Himeko to like... Iron Man but with Gadgets instead of a suit. The fact she designed those gadgets herself and knows perfectly how to use them and manipulate them should add some more points for her I'd say.

On top of the confirmation that Welt's cane IS _Star of Eden_ , meaning Bronya Zaychik gave it back to him, I've also heard that she gave him back the Herrscher Core of Reason. Which makes sense considering that while Kiana is sealing 90% of all Honkai energy on the moon, the others haven't, or can't, really use their Herrscher powers -- so it's a good thing, on the side, that Senti and Veliona now have their own bodies. If Welt does have the Core of Reason, that means he has the full powers of the Herrscher of Reason at his disposal, and likely not limited to the way he used it in the past, creating phenomena and armies worth of military hardware, but also the way Bronya used it as the Herrscher of True Reason (Truth). But that's only theoretical until he actually uses it. Which, if he does, we'll know things have really gone very badly, considering he's mostly letting the kids take care of things. Still, he was about to act when Acheron stepped in against Aventurine. Clearly, she wanted him to stay a hidden ace against the IPC, so she acted first, and he let her.
Welt has rebuilt his own body a few times, meaning he has an excellent understanding of biology. I'm pretty sure if he wanted to, and given the opportunity to study Firefly, he could cure her, if by no other method by creating a human body for her, and transferring her consciousness to it while she's still alive. But revealing he has such an ability could make him a target for a lot of people. Not really worth it when he's only around to protect Himeko from the Sky People, who have yet to appear.
his herrscher powers were sealed along with the Honkai energy, which means he only has 1% of his core capabilities and his core never even synced with him completely, he was never able to. And i'm pretty sure the star of Eden he is currently wielding is a replica made by Bronya, but i don't remember that very well so yeah
it had nothing to do with welt when acheron took action she was just focused on aventurine since he kept mentioning her emanator status and he didn’t “let” her, she literally stopped time and space
Welt being that high is just very funny. I wonder why the same guy that ran from a random abundance deer is treated like he is a god when he is nowhere near top tier in both games. Mihoyo outright stated he can use the powers in his prime yet still did not do anything and he is even exhausted after Loafu. When will people wake up and actually read the story and realise he is not the shit lmao.

@@Luxius. Not really, by that point he has already lost the 1v1 with Einstein firing a nuke towards him, while Welt was at his limits coughing out blood, so yeah he lose that fight

(all the energy in Otto's reactor was immediately drained with one teleportation before she became a True Herrscher). So you want to ignoring Honkai's existence completely out of the duel while he can't rely on Nuclear which was his plan from the start?.
A True Herrscher connected to the Will of Honkai vs Pseudo-Hersscher with only Star of Edens.
