Uuu this def. needs a hydrating primer underneath but that is quite strange because usually the idea of these kind of foundations are that they are on their own very hydrating and dewy. The coverage is actually quite nice, I think as someone who likes very full coverage on winter and more of a medium coverage in spring/summer, this foundation could have potential.
The shade you used was 05.5 and was it cool or yellow or neutral? I can not find any swatches and I look for light cool pink undertones. Why Maybelline never writes these things lol. Thank you.
If you just got microdermabrasion you are not supposed to use any kind of Retinol for 7 days and the retinol will make your skin Purge as well as expect dry patches for upwards of the first 30 days. I've been on Retinol for 2 years now.
Unfortunately looks like its sitting on top of the skin. Ya maybe a hydrating base will work better, would love an update video showing us!! Or maybe mixing in a glowy product could work too?? Can't wait for the update. Ooooo that eye look girl!! Blue looks phenomenal on your skin tone!!!
Thankyou ❤️ I did try the foundation again today with the NYX marshmellow primer underneath and it was SO much better 😅❤️ no dry patches and overall looks good x
Trying it for the second time with a moisturising primer, it DEFINITELY applied so much better and didn’t cling to dry patches ❤
I genuinely appreciate not only your honest review, a wear test, and close ups, but how you update us after trying something multiple times
🥰🫶🏻

I def prefer skin tints instead of foundations nowadays. So thank you so much for doing this review 🙂 i def want to try this skin tint
These kind of foundations always make me think hydration so very strange it clung so much! Definitely needs something like face base underneath it ❤
Yes I thought the same! But now trying it with a hydrating primer it definitely works better ☺️ x

It’s definitely more yellow leaning. If I were you I’d go for the 5. It has cooler undertones x

It’s been about a week now 😅 I’m just terrible at remembering 😂 Thankyou for the info tho! ❤️😊 x
@@kerry_k would hate for a skin barrier issue those are so painful and with you doing makeup videos that would be even worse
@@ivyb4351 oh definitely! I don’t know tonnes about skincare so appreciate any advice ❤️❤️
A question... that shade of foundation coloring was in the video? Thank you so much
5.5 ♥️
Conclusion: this foundation is definitely not for dry skin 😃 It's anything but skin-like. Unfortunately...😕
Good video
