I have been a stay at home mom for going on 30 years. When my boys got older I did teach school for a few years but we were primarily plugged in with sports and church commitments while I was home. I have found a peacefulness in being home. But this only came when I started having a daily quiet time with God before the kiddos were up. As I studied the Bible, poured my heart out to the Lord, and began to trust in His ways…. Then I was able to truly love my husband and kids. We all have a human nature and let’s face it we’re selfish by nature. A big part of staying home is finding joy in serving and taking care of our children. God will always help us to do that when we ask Him! He wants us to be successful. He is our friend and Help!!❤ I realize now that it’s truly the little things that being the most joy as a homemaker. Clean sheets, homemade food, reading a story to our kiddos, taking a walk together, letting little ones help make pancakes, a cup of coffee with our hubbies. Loving gestures and a soft place to fall mean slot for our hubbies as well. ❤❤
My husband prioritizes work over me and our home life. Working over 12 hours every day and Saturdays. I pray he will realize how he makes me feel soon 🙏
As a non religions, childfree and single woman, I'm actually so glad to have the "trad wifes are NOT doormats" speech. Thank you! So many people (man and women both) diminish this work to nothing when it is the base of the fabric of society, it is FAR from worthless. And there is still room to get income, either from home or close to, and even more so when the kids are older I suppose? There is a balance to be found there, for those of us who want this life. But we do need to make people realise how primordial it is (we forgot it seems), and realize that stay at home wife is a 24/7 unpaid job. (I personally believe that stay at home wives should have ubi, at least for a time).
I'm glad that tradwife is becoming more popular. Hopefully for all the right reasons. And there's definitely more SAHMs in the homeschool community. We planned for me to stay home once we had our daughter. Just made sense logistically cuz my husband works 15+ hours a day (nature of his work) 5 days a week. And the more I stayed home to raise her and our family, i began to see how important it is to raise your own kids and train then in the ways of the Lord as Deuteronomy 6 says. We were saving up for Christian School but then the pandemic hit and we had to use our savings. Long story short we decided to homeschool from the get go (kindergarten) and I'm so glad we can do. Curious if y'all plan to homeschool when your kids are school age?
The tradwife argument is nothing new. It’s just a trendy name for stay at home mom or stay at home wife. As a woman who has been home raising and homeschooling her 12 kiddos for over 30 years now, I have seen a lot of this trendy renaming of the same old concept. I did enjoy your video. I will check out your website for skincare. Thanks for sharing.

Remember the husband has to submit to his wife too, it's a same-level relationship.
He is commanded to love his wife as Christ loves the church. He is not commanded to submit to the wife. Just to clarify.
