I like to think that Eri and Satoshi are essentially a reincarnated version of both Kirie and Suichi. Either as a way to try for a better ending or just being eternally tormented by the spiral time and time again during the endless cycles in which it awakes.
I think this takes place 100 years later, because the Spiral Curse happens every 100 years. And maybe this time, Eri and Satoshi will finally end the cycle once and for all
This Uzumaki Adaptation is amazing, sadly adult swim is responsible for all the budget thrown away from Eps. 2 and 3. This is history. "The curse is stop, and Uzumaki adaptation is now a past. People will countinue their life and live happily." We never knew when this curse come to an end. but another Studio migth be... just maybe... "Ito-san, want to get a new adaptation? right, before your fans curse us again"
whether there will be another adaptation or not, I don't think they'll be able to nail down the atmospheric music Colin Stetson produced. It's the saving grace for the whole anime (to me at least)
I know the adaptation was pretty much f**ked after episode 1 due to production and budget issues, but it clearly shows a small return of such immaculate quality in this scene. Just for laughs, is it possible that after episode 1, the quality purposefully declined to reflect how the story is "spiraling" downwards into craziness and nothing makes sense? Only for the quality to return in the beginning of the loop? I feel like if that was the case, it's both a stupid and genius move haha.
sadly they fired their original director which was in charge of the first episode, from there it was downhill with no work being done and they just decided to either scrap the whole thing or release it knowing it looked worse.
I actually think this Girl is Suichi and Kirie’s daughter and that the town is just a metaphor for life in general !! Because nobody wants to be trapped in their hometown but sometimes life happens or spirals and you fall in love
No dawg, the manga is a very straightforward cosmic horror nonsense. There are no deeper meanings or messages lmao, it’s not a story like that unfortunately
@@xxredxoctoberxx2977 bro it's a cartoon like primarily animated by adult swim of all companies, do you really expect there to flawless logical consistencies? plus, the last scene wasn't even cannon. it isn't in the manga
trying to stop the person who's going to start the curse also impossible even if you burried the body or throw it to lake or sea there's a chance the curse is still happend since the entity spiral own that land unless we burried the body outside the village but even so the entity spiral might try find a new person to start the loop again. The only way to survive is to not set a foot on that village ever again
@@atomic_wait yeah but imagine a NEW series set in the world of Uzumaki but updated. I mean what if they used cellphones to record the curses and other modern tech?

I think your on to something. You should look up the what their names mean in english. I just did today, and I think that it reinforces your idea.

AT LEAST episode 1’s animation came back.
Quit whining child
Episode one feels like a totally different show, it's too bad.
For what it is, I still liked this adaptation and will recommend it.
This is just like AoT where the cycle repeats, just centuries into the future.

u_u I just gonna pretend I blacked out between episodes 2 to most of 4 and woke up at this scene

Wow that whole thought is hilarious and ironic as hell haha

I dont know how i feel about this i like the open endedness of the original ending but this is cool too
I didn't know there's a post credit scene

Sequel series?
No.
this scene is anime original
The point is that the events will simply repeat themselves.

Hey Higher Quality Uploads don’t forget gladiator 4K HDR Clips next week thanks Higher Quality Upload 🤩
What a horrible way to trash the original ending.
How
how exactly? even the manga last page said history repeats in the end
their design looks like someone's OC
Nah is actually a nice detail, the og finale in the manga is was good but too sudden and rough, atleast here is more clear about what happened
@@River-Thornhill.Ah duh!!!! Cause they are lol. Never appear on the manga
