My review: The best part about this movie is when Colette mocks the idea that cooking is a "cute job, like mommy in the kitchen" - disregarding the emotional connection we have to handmade love. Then, the thing that broke his *ego* was eating the food that reminded him of "mommy in the kitchen" making him ratatouille when he was feeling low. Emotional connection here is what makes art, and that is the best part of this movie for me.

I love how this clip talks about the line of consciousness, no matter how many times you kill an Adam's family member they'll live forever, because they are above the bodies they inhabit. There will always be a entity available to continue the character, as long as the entity wants to embrace it. Who wouldn't. They fished for him, and an ambitious mother gave her son away. As soon as he lost fear, the idea clicked on him that he was the real Fester and understood the game. Now he had a new real family not biological but beyond the realm of existence and time, and the only thing asked from him was to live fully the character, to be free, to be himself, himself by choice, the real meaning of becoming and being. He may die, or better said, his body may die, but he has a family that will make sure to find him a new container and supply those memories to the new body. Anyway, memories are foggy, abstract, just a narrative without detail, even in the so called normal sense, but there in the abnormal sense, memories can take any form, any body, survive, transcend, and continue, new members are allowed and few are let go, as long as it fits a purpose to the whole community the Mamushka will bring them back.
