After he was betrayed by meg, he became bitter and never went back for her. Zeus didn't like this and cut him off, telling him he would never become a true god. He then found his own way to become a god again by brute forcing it and took over Olympus. (Meanwhile, Meg took over the underworld in her own villain song.) (The edits were me trying to flesh out the story)
Oh, dude. If that were true, then this isn't a villain song unless Heracles ends up like Zeus did after taking out Cronus. It's just a fallen hero song. Otherwise, it's still a hero song, just one fallowing Heracles realizing just how much of a s.o.b. his dad is.
Heracles almost never felt like he belonged. He was stronger than all, but he was seen as a freak for causing trouble he did not mean to. His family told him of his true origin and instructed him to go to a temple to meet his true father, so he could finally be amongst the gods of Olympus. However, this tale took a different turn. Zeus did not accept his son, who was now mortal and thus beneath his notice. Zeus did not even bother to show himself. Heracles, feeling betrayed and alone, became a perfect tool for the God of the Underworld, Hades. How did the God of the Underworld come to know of the boy he assumed had died? Simple. During his time seeking allies to usurp Mount Olympus and seize the throne from his younger brother, Hades heard tales of a mortal far stronger than most. Through some deals, he learned the boy’s name to be Heracles-the same boy who was meant to have died during his fall to Earth. At first, the god was enraged and ready to kill the boy. However, due to his cunning nature, Hades discovered that Zeus, ever the prideful god, had refused to help his own flesh and blood simply because Heracles was mortal. Yet the boy was still very strong. Sensing an opportunity, Hades decided to manipulate the boy instead. He promised Heracles power beyond imagination, recognition and fame beyond his wildest dreams, and, of course, revenge on the so-called father who had abandoned him. Heracles, feeling abandoned and scorned, agreed to join his uncle. Under Hades’ tutelage, Heracles was trained to be ruthless and brutal. He was sent to slay several monsters, honing his skills to become the ultimate warrior. During this time, he grew close to a woman named Meg, who was enslaved to Hades. Their bond deepened, though it remained under the shadow of Hades’ control. The time came for Hades to release the Titans to wage war on Olympus. Heracles wished to join the battle, but without his godly power, he could never enter Olympus. That is, unless he did one tiny thing-damn Meg to the souls of the damned. Though Hades already owned her soul, Heracles cared for her deeply. But Hades had no use for a warrior with a heart. Meg begged Heracles to save her, but Heracles hesitated. His love for her was great, but he could not forget the lies he believed to be true, the undeserved hate he had suffered simply for existing, and, most of all, the abandonment by his father. Heracles believed he deserved his place among the gods. In the end, he turned his back on Meg and joined the Titans. As Hades dragged Meg’s soul into the depths of the Underworld, Heracles regained his godly power. Standing before Zeus, he prepared to duel his father for the throne of Olympus.

Here's my take on a story for this. Hades somehow learns Hercules was alive sooner than in the movie (maybe Pain and Panic actually tell the truth). During this time Herc meets Meg and does fall for her, however due to his alliance with Hades, the feeling is not mutual this time. Still, Hades uses Herc's love as an extra motivator, fully revealing he has Meg's soul and that as an extra bonus, will set her free as long as Herc takes down Zeus. When the titan's are set free Herc does have a brief moment of hesitation until Hades reminds him of his ownership of Meg, this is enough to drive Herc to Olympus and face the Gods once and for all As Hades simply sits back and watches the show

YOOOO this was amazing! I loved the way you changed the lyrics, especially to “take where I belong”. And the animatic was super epic as well!
Paragraph Time:
In my mind, Hercules finds the coin from Zeus early on, and has always held some resentment for him. But he plays the long game. Trains with Phil, gets the fame and glory. But in this timeline, he fails. Maybe he saves Meg and she leaves him, or maybe he doesn’t save her at all. Zeus wants to welcome him into Olympus all the same, but when Herc’s powers manifest, he charges to Olympus on his own terms to take it down.
I saw the artstyle and i KNEW it was Maepletea!! Graaaahhhh this is so good please do more male villain songs!! (Can you do one For Simba?)
More of this hero turned villains please!

I think Lydia and Caleb would be a good Disney villain twins

Ohhh, those Zeus genetics are really coming out... Amazing work, Caleb! The artist did amazing, aswell! ❤

Yeah! 🤩 Do villain version of "proud of your boy" from Aladdin
“Every Princess needs a Prince”
Let's go. The first time I listened to Lydia's princess villain songs a year ago, I automatic thought you should do the male villain songs and here we are.
The visuals at the end with Herc flying really shows the parallels between Hercules and Superman... 🤩
Didn’t know that I needed to hear this for Christmas.😕🙂
I never clicked so fast on one of your videos
we need more of these literally
I smell a series coming.
The second I saw the thumbnail art I knew it was Maepletea!

The song that Hercules would use when he was being manipulated by hera
Never been this early, but sounds great and merry Christmas
Lydia the Bard should totally watch this.
She did and commented!
Merry Christmas, and it's honestly alarming how quickly I clicked on this video.
That was great! I love the story told, speaks to my soul! Also, Merry Christmas, Caleb.
I recognized MaepleTea's style and immediately clicked
I have a song request, you don't have to do it but the song is Wanderer's Lullaby by Adriana Figueroa. I can't find a male cover of it for the life of me and I think your voice would be perfect for it. If not I understand completely, I just thought I would ask anyway
Love it. Hope you do the rest
I love it! I'm so happy i'm here for this
Please do Aladdin or Tarzan I don't know how their villain stories would go but it would be interesting to see them as villains
instantly on the playlist
The paralels between this animation amd 600 strike(most animations)
The cape - the wind scarf
Hercules fights Zeus to free Meg's soul - Odyseus fights Poseidon to get back to his wife(bow only to k!ll the suitors, it went fine 🎶🤟MY MERCY HAS LONG SINCE DROWNED, IT DIED TO BRING ME HOME🤟🎶)
(This one also ciunts for the Hercules movie)
Neither follow their original material, Aeolus's island doesn't fly and Hercules isn't Hera's kid
