I think your guitar work is very good , as close to excellent as anyone can get I guess , that's my part also the acoustic guitar ... what I appreciate most is the work and effort you and your lovely vocalist have put into respecting this Jewel song , it shows and sounds believe me !! ... my critic was because you and her have a very special coordinated togetherness , very enjoyable listening experience to share and I wanted you to try and give her a little more space and freedom to take (become) the lead ... after all that's our job as instrument players , to be all we can be in support of the vocalist and she is good , very good , let her lead and see if you both don't feel the difference ... never anything wrong with very good being even better , but it's often an illusive door we need to find so we can walk through it and then that magic happens ... let her take the lead , better yet let her she must take it ...

Ps., ... if you can tune down a 1/2 step to be even more accurate ... tune to the album recording with the white cover and Jewel's face ...
Thanks Dan, it is tuned standard for the video as when we perform we stick with 4:40. Some songs are tuned down a half step but still in her great range vocally and eliminating multiple guitars is why we do this. Thank you though
@@willowacousticcinci938 ... hey , I was just wondering what you two think about Foolish Games by Jewel ... bet you two would sound fantastic with that one !! ... not talking about the studio record version with piano and orchestra instruments ... I'm talking about the acoustic guitar version the way Jewel plays it on her Taylor ... you'd do a great job on the acoustic and there's no doubt your lovely vocalist would just melt that song ... if you really want to hear Jewel actually get real confident and comfortable with her Taylor on that song (best RUclips vid) cruise RUclips vid choices until you see her on stage wearing a black "leather" outfit , long sleeve , long pant , guitar strapped on , "that's the one to listen to" , clear and clean on the guitar work ... guitar part starts out 6 string open , 5th & 4th strings 9th fret , 3rd string open , don't play strings 2 or 1 ... next 2 chords are same exact left hand finger positions as the You Were Meant For Me song , then D ... the other part has C , D , G , Em and a one time A sus. tossed in ... hope you two give it a go !!
