Yes I have heard and tried some of Ormonde Jayne... a lovely house. Well done, this one I have not sampled but I certainly would like to after your wonderful descriptive review. Some people don;t like Iso E Super but It works well for me. No problems there. Bravo!

Very accurate and concise reviews! You are one of the only reviewers that classifies the fragrance “Longevity” (most reviewers classify this as projection) for how long you can actually smell the fragrance in the air, while mentioning how long after it will remain a skin scent. This is true representation for everyday fragrance progression and helpful when deciding which fragrance to wear! (I have been using fragrance “Projection” as a as an indicator to learn how often to reapply my fragrances for certain situations) Any feedback is appreciated?!
Theres a clone house named Dua with Beastly projection/longevity and the owner made an inspire expression because its one of his favs. Its call Latin Tabacum at the theduabrand site.
I live in London and have been a huge fan of Ormonde Jayne for the past 3 years, but like my fragrances to be very masculine and sadly this didn't do it for me. Bought the Intensivo and got comments like "oh you smell florally" 😳. My favourite is the Made to Measure 50% Zizan, the best male fragrance done by the house if you ask me. Bought the large sample of Nawab of Oud and ended up throwing it away as the Oud was tooooo strong. Tom Ford's Oud Wood I find to be the best Oud fragrance. I've also bought Ormonde Jayne's Isfarkan which is a fresh day fragrance but nothing beats Zizan!!
I wore this once and I had to scrub it off after 8 hours of application. The only fragrance i have ever scrubbed off. Did not like this one bit, might have to revisit this again.
+Handsome Smells I think maybe it's the ISO E Super note your not keen on? it's definitely the main player.. Have you tried Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules? That's essentially what you get here.. just with a little added jasmine and suede , tobacco note is pretty minimal, I'd have liked a stronger tobacco I think to balance that ISO E note
Its the florals pal, couldn't stand them. As far as ISO E Super, both Terre d'Hermes and Encre Noire are supposed to have the molecule, and I absolutely adore them both, so its not the ISO E Super.
They use iso e super too heavy in all their fragrances. That ruins it for me. They need to get rid of that Geza Schoen. He’s a iso e super user and he over uses it.

@@FragranceView they made a Montabacco intensivo, have u sampled it. I heard its stronger with tobacco.

I think you could replace it with Aviation Club Monsillage which is an incredible frag. from a perfumer out of Montreal.
