Always makes me think of the movie LeMans that Steve McQueen was in. This and the 917 have two of the most distinct exhaust notes ever. Amazing to see this car preserved and still being run today. Thank you!
Gives just a little taste of what it was like watching these beauties racing. Imagine a grid off these the sounds the smell oh for a time machine. Thanks Bozzy
@@Emira_75 Nah, fella's actually got a point here. I mean, do they look as space-age now as an LMP1 car? No. But if I knew fuck-all about cars and you asked me to place that thing in history, I think I'd guess 1980's or even 90's. The round headlights and simple racing livery give it away as a product of the early 70's, but one could conceivably guess that it was much newer. Hell, the Coda Lunga specifically isn't all that far off in shape from Group C prototypes in Le Mans trim that came a decade and a half after it, with that square-ish beltline and wide stance. Maybe "modern" isn't the right word, but it looks pretty far ahead of its time for something dated at _1970._
With the breaker panel inside water splashing distance of it, heh. There's a lot of things about the cockpit that make me cringe though - how about the leg box that looks like you have to point your feet to get them inside, nicely constructed to fold & cut your legs off at the knees? guess you can't even get in the car if you're not in a certain height range... Awesome car though.
I miss these cars a lot. They run the 512 M and the 512B over here. I haven’t seen the long tail version though. This is the kind of violent symphony I grew up hearing. I’m just very thankful you NM2255 and Matteo continue to pump out these videos. Love your work. Bless you and your family and happy holidays!

Proof to me that the horsepower wars of today are missing the boat almost entirely. I'd buy a 3-cylinder hatchback if it sounded anything like this. Such a great piece of preserved history.

Bozzy, you're so mean to forget something so beautiful like this 😀 But please keep give us a top quality videos of yours. And sorry for my bad English, because I'm Indonesian. 😀 I'm still learning it. Once again, thanks a lot Bozzy 😘👍👍👍

Now being 21 I know vey little about 1960s and 1970s sports car racing, other than my love for the cars. Namely the Ferrari 330P4, the Ferrari 512S and M, and the Porsche 917K and LH, and oddballs like the Howmet TX, and basically every Chaparral. That being said, one thing that always stands out to me t=is the Scuderia Filipinetti crest. Everywhere I look, there it is, I even saw one of their cars at the Toronto Autoshow. It was a 250LM now owned buy the Greater Toronto Area's Ferrari Dealer, Remo Ferri. My entire life this car is parked only minutes from my house and then here it was in the exhibit. My point? Well the Filipinetti cars seem like they are actually still driven, why else would they appear in every video, photo, and exhibit? I know Remo Ferri occasionally drives his around Mosport.
Beautiful symphony of magical engineering genius and thanks for the video awesome viewing most modern day cars have all elements of mechanical engineering replaced with electrical equipment and computers etc that's a man's car to seat of the pants driving 👖👍😁😍

Kinda wish I heard more V12’s in modern racing. Glorious sound.
They wouldn't sound remotely as good as this.
@@sonicstepconsidering how good the Aston Martin sounds, yes
Good news, Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro will race in the hypercar class in 2025!

From inside the car omg!! A symphony ❤️💪

WOW, incredible car. This really shows how much work is involved to drive one of these. Just imagine 24 hours of that. Amazing!👍
What always amazes me is that these cars are from like the late 60s or early 70s. They still look so modern.
No they don't they look like the apitomy of the 1960's.
Gorgeous but very 60's. Big round headlights, curving sensual lines and no down force.

Thanks Bozzy, as great a sound as the one of the 917, great job
an Immaculate reverb on the downshift, and those 70’s Colombos had a signature resonance that you knew immediately!😊
From the days of only 5 'driver aids': Steering wheel, Gear stick(or 2), Gas pedal, Clutch pedal, Brake pedal. And huge engines. This was racing.

I see there's a hump in the roof above the driving seat. Was that to cater for a particularly tall driver?
Amazing car, but look at the left window how it opens away from the frame when cornering and at high speed.
Not a single dislike that's HOLY BIBLE APPROVED
My ears came.
That nearside window doesn't have a particularly good seal. It frequently produces a gap for external elements to get in.
The large Ferrari key fob makes a wonderful G indicator. ~:^ D

Where is the shifter knob? Is it on the right side?

Look at the top of the door frame moving in the in car shots.

Is anyone else like me looking at the gap between left hand side door and the body opening up as the car gets faster ?
Can't be good for aero

Do you think a car like this is quicker around a track or a cayman gts?
I get a kick out of the idea of using an ignition key to fire it up.
Is it normal to see the left window open when the speed increase?
