Jason Lancaster of Go Radio plays an acoustic version of their song "Why I'm Home." This is an old Go Radio song that has been re-recorded for their debut full-length for Fearless Records due out this spring. Follow Go Radio on twitter @goradio.
EDIT! This will be one of 13 tracks due out March 1st for Go Radio. Their new album is called "Lucky Street"

Ok.. I freakin love Mayday Parade and I freakin love Go Radio.. I had no idea Lancaster was in Mayday Parade until it dawned on me "This guys voice is the same as that guy!"

the qualities of his voice and Derek's are the voices of Mayday, but we should love the two bands now.. But I think the reason why i loved Mayday is because of the harshness of his voice when he screams and the lullaby-likeness of it when he smoothly sings..
@foleyfrosh14 THANK YOU. I wish everyone would see it that way. Instead everyone just want to sit and complain how one is better than the other, i just think of it as an extension of their talent. And now i have two favorite bands, and two to listen to. :)

@ixlovexmcr30 agreed. Usually bands pretty much die after their singer leaves, but Mayday Parade kept on going, and have you heard their new album? SO GOOD.
Stop bitching about Mayday. The blessing is that Jason is still playing music. Beautiful music at that. Besides, Derek has an identity of his own and he's also a very talented musician. Enjoy both of their stuff ^_^

You must be a choir nerd. No one cares if he's "pitchy" that's what gives the song life and makes it so real to everyone. If you don't like it don't listen to it. I'm sure Jason Lancaster will be fine with having one less fan compared to the thousands he has unconditionally.

@ixlovexmcr30 you are 100% correct, as much as Jason was an integral part of that band, they have moved on with a little different sound, but I still love them. We now have 2 awesome bands and its awesomee

@trashtalkboys the only reason mayday changed, is because the departure of THIS GUY in the video. Lancaster was Mayday Parade.
Mayday isn't terrible at all. While I do agree that Anywhere But Here wasn't amazing, it was still good. Their new single that's going to be on Valdosta and the new cd is absolutely amazing! (Go check it out. It's called Terrible Things) Everyone thinks Jason wrote all the lyrics. Truth is, he didn't. He did write some songs and others Derek, Jake, Jeremy, Alex and Brooks wrote. That's why Mayday still has good lyrics. Jason's happy where he is now and while I do agree neither bands sound as go

It's kind of annoying how everyone is saying Mayday Parade is shit now. They really aren't, they're good in their own way, even without Jason. Just like Go Radio is good in their own way. So stop comparing them, they're two separate bands.
in my opinion, old Mayday was better. i just loved Jasons voice and Jasons lyrics.
but mayday are still good now! terrible things makes me cry, and its amazing and beautiful and soul-wrenching.
every band has to change. they cant stay the same forever. jason leaving is what caused mayday to chage. i think they've done an amazing job.

@foleyfrosh14 I agree, but part of it also has to do with the switch to a major label. Atlantic had a much huger role in the making of the album song-wise than Fearless did with ALIR.

@trashtalkboys hey! not to be rude at all, because i know how you feel, but they need to get big. as a local, i can honestly say that Tallahassee has shit to offer. everyone one of us here wants to get the hell out as fast as possible, and while they still love tallahassee im sure they would like nothing more than to not have to be there all the time.
jason lancaster has a very beautiful voice he sounds the same in the studio and live i mean thats amazing! derek from mayday parade on the other hand sing really different and not as good when he is live :)

@missingthepoint ..and then you made a bias comparison based on the fact that you listened to their earlier albums and were butthurt that their style changed. True fans don't opt out when the artists start to innovate whether that be an intentional change or an inadvertant one. If you'd listened to valdosta you'd notice they two new songs they added and how they differ in style to their previous album.. the lyrical and narrative quality of terrible things is simply enchanting..

@chazalea Fine... I have this same song on my channel. I've been a musician all my life. I know when someone is pitchy. This song on their Lucky Street album is terrible. The demo was better.
