This was the first time Jason and Derek have ever played it together.

Sadly it's never going to happen, but I agree with you. Jason and Derrick hate each other. I'm kinda on Jason's side. Derrick is kinda terrible person.

@@stoneseabolt First off Derrick literally gave me free tickets to his show when i was behind the last person on line and gave me 20$ to get home. When it was too late to take the train (shitty FL train actually stops running after a certain hour) and I spoke to Derrick for hours afterward and he said he still talks to Jason often. Not every day but at least every month and told me they live somewhat close to each other and literally still hangout.
So idk what your talking about. Things could've changed and I basically live under a rock so I might have missed whatever events transpired if it was recently.
EDIT: I was in the middle of something while I was typing this and I said their names in the wrong order. I fixed it now.
I'd be so overwhelmed w/ joy I'd prob cry. A Lesson In Romantics is 1 of my top 5 fav albums of all time. It's really a shame & disapointing when artists come together 2 form a band & are lucky enough 2 find other artists that when together have that certain spark & quality to be an amazing band but because of fame, greed, jealousy, etc. they take it for granted not realizing how lucky they were & probably some day will regret not trying harder 2 make it work.

the original voice is always best
so natural cause jason wrote the song way back when he was in kid named chicago and derek in defining moment.. they just changed it up slightly when the two bands sorta merged to make mayday

So they make something about this. Maybe like touring together. Or what’s I’m really hoping for is getting back together as a band. Wow!!!

FR SAME!!!! I liked Jason but I thought Derek deserved to carry the band but then I saw this and they sound so beautiful together and I think it helps Derek more I feel like it’s hard for him to sing as high as he sings through the whole songs

This is all I’ve fucking wanted since I was like fucking 15. I even saw Go Radio and Mayday on the Fearless Friends tour when they did Miserable At Best together, but we all fucking wanted Jamie. And here we fucking go. We got it. My soul feels euphoric. They even had Daniel their to do the fucking outro bridge. Fucking yeah, man. Fucking yeah.

One of the songs that defined my high school "emo" stage. I used to listen to this all the time - especially when commuting home from school acting like I'm in a music video (even better when it's night or when it's raining).
I moved on to other genres but this kind of genre will always have a place in my heart. There's always a surge of emotions I feel when I start hearing songs like this.
It was never phase! It's a lifestyle!

When I saw the A lesson in romantics ten year anniversary tour and they started with this I can't even begin to explain the energy.

One of the best shows I've ever been to was a show where Go Radio opened up for Mayday Parade. Before the show, we could hear them performing soundchecks by playing songs from TTBDF and ALIR on stage. Quietest I've ever heard a crowd waiting to go in for a show.
These guys should start a band. They sound great together.
them singing together makes me smile, they have a huge impact on my college days, hard to hear that some of the band i used to love are now hanging up their mic and guitar.. damn, i wish i could go back on that days..

Jason was the other vocalist on ALIR. He quit before the album even came out, so they had the members who took over singing his parts live sing in the music videos. That’s why Jake is in Miserable at best and Jeremy does Jamie all over.
