Likely you have already found out that the screws you had to remove are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard). I am replacing rotor, stator, rectifier and starter solenoid as well as the petcock. I hope to get it running soon! Hope you are having a good time
I think so. I have yet to try riding it to work to see if I make it or not, but it IS generating power when I rev it. My rotor was toast and I guess that is pretty common on these old (awesome) bikes. Let me know how yours turns out and good luck!
+Epic Trekker yes! Makes me happy to hear. Stupid company I ordered the flywheel tool took a week to send it! So frustrating...but it gave me time to change the oil and air filter. I'll let you know! Congrats!
you can try soaking them in some anti-seize fluid (I use WD40, but there are lots of options) and try and impact driver, if that doesn't work you may have to drill them out (no fun). good luck!!!

How long did this last? Where they ok or really bad?
What is the small black piece inside the Stator body called? I can't get the screws to come out.
Joy Welch not sure what it is called, but try giving them some penetrating fluid like WD40 see if that can loosen them up.
Hey bud. I'm literally going thru this right now with my 79 CB750K. Waiting for the flywheel removing tool to be delivered. Did it work?

Did charging the rotor fixed the charging problem for good.?
I replaced reg and stator, but not the freewheel rotor. Im guessing that is the next step.
how did you get the wire in the rubber part?
I replaced the regulator and stator. Problem still not charging more that 12.1
Does it matter the order for the stator terminal connection?
question: I have a 1976 750f motor .. will the charging of a 1980 750f fit in the block?
Dennls White not sure, you might want to check some forums.
Where can I get one of those brushes mount??
Help, the screws are seased on my stator and there is no way opening it, what should I do?

Try heating up the area that the threads are in . map gas
