    Just took this line for the first time today, went from Riverside to Kenmore, then took it back after the Sox game. Let me tell you this, the Green Line literally HAULS on the D branch. I’ve never seen it go so fast before. And it’s a very scenic route as well.

    I live in New York City and I only know MTA and not MBTA but I know these trolleys sound like R142 and R160 trains from NY. So I think these trolleys are made by Bombardier and Alstom.

      The Type 7 high floor light rail trains were made by Kinki Sharyo BUT they were rebuilt by Alstom so I could see where the sounds are similar to the NYC subway fleet. The low floor Type 8 trains were made by Breda (now part of Hitachi). Those haven’t been rebuilt yet but they’re nearing its mid life rebuild.
