Been driving my Equinox for a while to get the EGR ready but not working. A mechanic told me to change the EGR. Can I add cleaner in motor before ? and will putting a new EGR will compromised my other ready monitors?

vacuum line the runs from the air intake after the MAF sensor runs to the back of the intake manifold is damaged or clip broke so the vacuum line is disconnected. Gm part 12602539

I was getting oil leaking from the egr a year after it was replaced any reason as to why. Did clean the throttle body however when releasing the sensor i smelled oil

Thanks! Fixed it. Now im ordering brake pads, rotor, and wheel bearing kit.
I broke all three bolts for my EGR tube... Had to drill them out, it was a great time.
Any suggestion on reprogramming the computer for the 05 model? Thanks,

Do you guys have a part number for the original egr tube (non updated) for a 2006 equinox..... cant find it anywhere

Any torque specs for the bolts on the EGR valve? And torque specs for the tube?
Is it essential? Will the engine run okay without replacing it?
