  • I have a sample of fans and viscous coupling off a few Stags and talk about them. About 2 mins, in I pause to think, but I didn't edit the video.
If you have a metal fan with viscous coupling part no. 159152 and the coupling is bad, I think you can use viscous coupling part no. TKC101. The nut and bolt pattern line up. I don't have a Mk2 plastic fan with me, but I think the metal fan and plastic Mk2 fan are interchangeable. Bush part no. 159153 is shown for all three configurations, but I think it is only used if you attach a Mk2 fan and coupling TKC101 onto a Mk1, 155512, pulley or a metal, 218666, fan and 159152, coupling onto the same Mk1, 155512, pulley. From talking to other folks, I'm under the impression the metal fan and coupling, 159152 where use on Mk2 cars fitted with factory AC. I have a Mk1 non- working AC Stag which has a Mk1 plastic fan on it. I also recall Mk2 cars fitted with factory AC are fitted with a metal radiator cowl. These are my observations so please correct me if I am wrong.
Here are some numbers of viscous coupling:
    C45015 for Jag XK6
    URO 11521260459 for BMW
434-575 Moss Motors for Midget 1500, Sptfire 1973-78

My MkII Federal Stag with factory AC and has the plastic fan. Possibly it was changed along the way. I've never seen the metal fan before.

Does your Mk2 have the metal cowl?

@@sujitroy , no it probably went missing around the same time as the metal fan. That's another project I should probably do on mine.
