    M是MICROSERVICE,是非常細微的一種服務!
    在人工智慧的領域裡,使用各種計算模型是非常普遍的,可以幫助我們進行小事情的預測和邏輯推理。NIM提供了豐富的模型工具,適用於各種應用領域,例如AI機器人或需要物理模型的AI預測。
    黃仁勳執行長提到,許多物理和數學模型工具都有呈現在NIM的MICROSERVICE的平臺裡面。
    過去,第一代計算機只能執行基本的加減乘除和開根號。隨著個人電腦的普及,出現了掌上型和桌上型電腦。隨著運算需求和穩定性的提升,工業型電腦(Industrial PC,簡稱IPC)應運而生,這些電腦能夠24小時運行並保持穩定,特別適合於工業和商業環境。
    然而,傳統的中央處理器(CPU)和隨機存取記憶體(RAM)的組合已經無法滿足現代資料處理需求。因此,現代系統普遍採用GPU加CPU的組合,並搭配更多高帶寬記憶體(如HBM,High Bandwidth Memory),這樣的架構顯著提升了系統的資料處理能力,特別適用於人工智慧(AI)領域的應用。
    這種能力不僅限於AI,但因為廣泛應用於AI領域,因此,這些組合被稱為AIPC(AI Industrial PC)。
    NIM stands for NVIDIA Inference Microservice. In the field of artificial intelligence, various computational models are commonly used for tasks such as prediction and logical reasoning. NIM provides a rich set of model tools suitable for applications like AI robotics or AI predictions requiring physical models.
    CEO Huang Renxun mentioned that many physics and mathematics model tools are integrated into NIM's microservice platform.
    In the past, first-generation computers could only perform basic arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and square roots. With the popularization of personal computers, handheld and desktop computers emerged. As computing demands and stability improved, Industrial PCs (IPCs) capable of running 24/7 with stability became prevalent, particularly suited for industrial and commercial environments.
    However, the traditional combination of Central Processing Units (CPUs) and Random Access Memory (RAM) no longer meets modern data processing requirements. Therefore, modern systems commonly adopt a combination of GPUs and CPUs, supplemented by high-bandwidth memory like HBM (High Bandwidth Memory). This architecture significantly enhances system data processing capabilities, particularly beneficial for applications in artificial intelligence (AI).
    While these capabilities are not exclusive to AI, their widespread application in AI has led to such combinations being referred to as AIPC (AI Industrial PC).
