- Hey everyone! Here comes what just may be the longest Top 10 list I've ever done. But in this case, the runtime is warranted, because today, we're taking a look at my favorite seasons of the long-running, magical girl anime franchise, "Precure/Pretty Cure".

Cure Mermaid's transformation was so good it was used as reference for the one-off transformation sequence Clark got in My Adventures with Superman when he got his suit for the first time.

Excellent video! You did a great job explaining all the seasons and why you ranked them as you did and it’s great to see Fresh as you’re favorite because a lot of fans nowadays are taking for granted. I enjoyed that season a lot, though Smile is my favorite. Probably my favorite part of this video is how you perfectly described Smile and it’s message, which I feel is even relevant today considering the you-know-what.
My favorite Cures are Happy, Dream, (They are super funny and developed into great leaders. They are also relatable in terms of self doubt and struggling to do accomplish anything), Black and White (Can’t go wrong with the classics).
My favorite attacks are Marble Screw (When I first saw this finisher, I thought it was the coolest finisher I saw in a magical girl show), Rainbow Burst (Awesome attack that appeared in awesome episodes), and all of Happy’s attacks (They are Dragon ball as heck).

Glad you enjoyed both videos! The only seasons that got left out were Suite, Happiness Charge, Kira Kira, and Star Twinkle. For me, those four ranged from just okay to awful (with Happiness Charge being the worst). And yeah, Fresh, as well as Splash Star, really need more attention and recognition. I'm just about to start Healin' Good, and I can already tell it's probably going to be a great season. :)

I agree with you on Splash Star. Also I think the writers of Futari Wa had a much easier time working Nagisa's sports interest into stories than Honoka's science. Mai's art and Saki's sports were much more balanced. Making that the 'early watch' choice is a good one, with less-irritating fairies, better villains, reforming villains, and lacking the boring romance.
My favorite precure seasons are:
Smile precure : I love it's positive message and it was the first precures i watched
Kira kira precure ala mode : it's so cute and sweet. I think it's a feel good show.
I know, right? Pretty much all these seasons make you feel good. :)

I had heard that Fresh was one of the better seasons before, but this was the first time I got a grasp on what precisely made it special and interesting. It’s definitely now priority viewing for Precure seasons I haven’t seen.
It may depend on what context you're seeing it in. If you've seen other seasons out of order, it might not seem as "special", but if you view the franchise in order like I did, you can see the gradual progression of the evolution of writing and how much 'Fresh' broke all the traditional rules that were established by that point.

I have to put it out there, but Fresh is one of the most underrated seasons of precure. Especially since it came out around Yes! 5 GoGo and HeartCatch which are one of the two fan favorites.
It is probably one of my favorite seasons next to Star Twinkle, Happiness Charge and maybe Go Princess.
I know, right? Fresh and Splash Star are the ones that seem to be forgotten.
I want Crunchyroll to stream Splash Star, like how Hasbro Americanized a Forgotten Sentai called Go-Busters into Beast Morphers.

After finishing Go Princess I must say that it was fantastic! I don't think it's perfect by any means, Dispear is boring as all hell despite being a horrible monster you want to see go down, and worse off is Manami who I think easily one of the most derivative blues in the series which sucks as while I can certainly see why she went down the path she did I feel it's just the same thing we have scene with Karen and especially Rikka. For the record though I do still love Minami but she is something that holds this season back from perfection ironically like Miki but not as bad. As for everything else it is great, Haruka is such a lovable leader and her dynamics with everyone were great as well as her character development over the season while Kirara is easily my favorite girl as she was lovable but very snarky and fun to watch and her dynamic with Towa was also great and beautiful. Towa was very charming as well and while I saw a lot in her reminding me of Setsuna and Ellen she did have own dynamics like with her brother and being an actual princess who wanted to live up to her kingdom and parents ideals so that helped to make her stand out also some of the best fish out of water jokes in the whole series bar none. Also the animation is fucking perfect and has without a doubt some drop dead glorious fights scenes.
As for your favorite aspects lightning round segment: Your Top Ten has a lot in common with mine what with Yayoi, Setsuna, and Honoka being amazing, But for me I also love Hime as she was just a great blue and honestly was so much fun to watch I think she bets Erika which is no easily task, Ellen who yes was not as good as Setsuna with the whole reformed cure aspect but she was everything I wanted in a rock star cure before Aoi and even then she's easily the best on both the hero and villain front giving Suite some good time to shine, Kirara for like I said being fun likable and charming as hell, Urara for being such a good character with her arc over the two seasons and having easily some of the better relationships in Yes 5 such as her and Nozomi or her adorable romance with Syrup, Itsuki for being a cure I related to but in the opposite way as I love Pretty Cure and also action based anime for guys and don't care what anyone says about it, Saki due to being the first leader I ever really loved with such a lust for life and smiley demeanor it's hard to not agree with the show that she is like the sun, and finally Nozomi hands down my favorite cure ever and my favorite character in this show with her great arc of becoming a teacher, to her dynamics with everyone in her cast and especially how badass yet funny she could be and never stopped me form smiling.
Cure Milky is my favorite precure and her transformation is fun tbh i would like a sequence like her if i was a precure just to have fun

You have very good taste.^^ I suprised when I see Fresh in the first place of your list. My favorite is also Fresh. It's very sad that this season is so underrated.
Glad to find another Fresh fan! It was hard to choose between the final two, as I loved Go Princess so much. But for how much Fresh did for the franchise, I felt it deserved first place.

As for the fairies, I agree very much with Candy, Nuts, Mofurun, Tart, Davi, Coco, Aroma, and Pafu as some of the best fairies but I would also add Syrup cause his arc in yes 5 gogo was great and his dynamic with Coco and Nuts was so endearing especially how he was basically their little brother, and Hummy from Suite as just like her Fairy Cure best friend she was one of the few things I loved about Suite being cute and adorable but I also loved how above anyone else she was the one to redeem Siren and help her as she transitioned into Ellen. As for the uniforms I think they all look great Although gotta agree on Nagisa’s futari wa outfit I personally like it way more than her max heart look as I felt it helped to distinguish Nagisa from Honoka with the midriff exposed and less frills than her outfit has as well as the original yes 5 outfits being bleh as I am especially partial to Yes 5 Go Go’s redesign as they look so much better and actually look more mature and experienced, and also easily my favorite is the Happiness Charge outfits as they are so cool with the black offsetting the colors and the fact they have wings that let them all fly without getting some big powerful so they are stylish and practical as well. As for individual attacks Sapphire Arrow, Twinkle Humming, Sunny Fire, Love Sunshine Fresh, Gelato Shake, Happiness Hurricane, and Crystal Shoot especially I gotta say yes to all of them they are all great Minami’s and Ace’s not so much but still. If I had to throw my hat into the ring I loved all the Go Go attacks especially Emerald Saucer, and I especially loved Yukari’s finisher especially the Nya thing before the blades come out. As for the transformations sequences, Minami, Akane, Kirara, Aoi, Itsuki, Setsuna, and Towa I agree with not so much for Akira even though hers is great but I gotta mentioned the Yes 5 Gogo transformations as they are all great, all three duo transformations as they are so great and fun especially Mahou Tsukai and then there's the biggest surprise no Cure Peace transformation! Seriously the rock paper scissors thing is such a cute detail and one I actually played along with all season. Also it’s Yayoi. It's too adorable not to include! As for theme songs they are all so good, Especially Doki Doki, Smile, Yes 5, Kirakira, Go Princess, Fresh, and Futari Wa although personally I prefer Max Heart’s version more. Not so much for Suite and Splash Star, which even my love for Splash Star is not my favorite, probably second least favorite besides Happiness Charge but Yes 5 Gogo is definitely a good call. It's so good and easily my favorite one, especially the ending line before the final chorus which honestly the translation I've seen being the best line in any opening and one I have loved since the All Stars Dream Live which was the ending line for that short. Also gotta give an honorable mention to Witchy’s second theme and definitely Heart Catches which I am surprised was not on the list.
There is so much to love about this show weather we debate about which season is the best we can agree all seasons are incredible in their own way. Pretty Cure will always be my favorite show of all time.

@@ToonGal12 my least favorite seasons are Kira Kira and Star Twinkle but I still find some sort of enjoyment out of them.
@@curesaul5749 Same. For me, Suite was the first big hiccup in the franchise; not great, but not terrible. Star Twinkle had missed potential. Kira Kira axed the hand-to-hand fighting. And for me, Happiness Charge was the worst all around.
@@ToonGal12 also the First season isn’t very good. It drags a lot. Max Heart and Gogo didn’t live to their predecessors.
@@curesaul5749 At least the Yes 5 group got better costumes in GoGo. Also loved how Syrup could turn into their own personal airplane.
oh GAWD, Fresh is my favorite one too xDDD the Cure's outfits are nice, transformation sequences are a blast to watch, villains both big bad and generals were great, loved their interactions all around ~~ I know the "Passion Troupe" may be overdone, as it has appeared in other franchises like Zoids, Gundam etc, but it is done so well here, that even for a "kid's show" I can suspend my disbelief a little and totally buy into it :D
Having been a life long mecha fan, Fresh was my entry to the franchise and boy am I glad it was this one and not any others (winks at Cure Berry's upgraded form). I also used to be a big Kamen Rider fan and this season came out during the same year when another notoriously good dimension-hopping Rider came on the scene and memes were created ;) the fact that this show and Kamen Rider Decade used to be played back to back on TV was astounding and gave many fans of both series to fantasize about the possibilities of potential crossovers :P
Thank you for listing out all the good points about Fresh that many others have missed or simply glossed over ~ some precure fans find Fresh overrated but like you said, it was a do-or-die series that zapped the franchise back to life and actually showed more hints of realism and relatability than most other series did :D
In my Opinion, The Kiryu Sisters deversed to be Canonized as a Precure so that Saki/Bloom & Mai/Egret don't feel lonely in a Group Shot.
I know, right? I mean, Shiny Luminous and Milky Rose (if we're gonna' split hairs here) technically aren't Cures, and yet, they're grouped in with everyone else, so why not the Sisters? They could've easily been Cure Windy and Cure Moon or Cure Luna or something.
@@ToonGal12 in an Unrelated Example, Riderman was considered a Main Rider in the Kamen Rider Canon, even do he appeared in the near end of V3, or Goranger, & JAKQ Weren't canonized until Ohranger Acknowledge them in it's 20th Aniversary.

Fresh is so underated, it made so many good things for the franchise and us currently my secnd favorite season after Max Heart.
List of Seasons: From Futari to Go Princess episode 12
10- Hapiness Charge: It was decent to say the list. It had so many potencial but it was so wasted. Cure Fortune, Princess and Seiji were the best
9-Smile: It's not a bad season, but for me is not that memorable. The villains were good and Beauty is just like me
8- Suite: I didn't like this season at first. But after Cure muse (My favorite) appeared I really liked this season. Although the villains were pretty bad
7: Go Princess: So far, is a really good season, with good fights and main and secondary characters
6-Splash Star: So simple, yet it is so good. The more you see this season it becomes different from the first one
5- Yes 5 gogo: I liked Gogo more that the first one, but this season gave us so many good moments. Really memorable
4- Heartcatch: Mature and Good story telling. Sunshine and Moonlight were my favorites. Although I found Marine to be annoying she eventually became a good character
3- Doki Doki: Really balanced between Character Developement, Filler and Plot. And Mana isn't a Mary Sue
2-Fresh: Easily one of the best ones and underated.
1- Max Heart: I started watching precure in 2019, and at first I didn't like the Og that much... But that changed.

Those are some pretty nice choices there, and thanks for the detailed comment! I try to give everything a fair shot, and despite the rumors I heard about Happiness Charge being one of the worst seasons, I still went in with an open mind, because there's been plenty of things that I've liked in spite of the opposite popular opinion. But sadly, the naysayers were correct---that season was the most painful to get through. Cure Princess and Cure Fortune were the one saving graces, and it makes me wish that Princess were the main character and not Lovely.
And as for Suite, it was just okay. Not terrible, but not great either. It had some cool ideas that I think just could've been done better. Then again, that season's writing was changed drastically on the fly because of the earthquake/tsunami that happened that year, so I hate to bad mouth it too much, as I'm sure the writers were just put in a tough situation that wasn't their fault.
@@ToonGal12 Exactly. I'm going to watch every season even if some of them are considered as bad, because I actually enjoy precure a lot. Even in my most favorite seasons, I point out the flaws and how it could've been better.
Many people think that Princess is tue true main character and it actually makes sense. Everything revolved around her
With Suite, it is a shame that the tsunami occured. But despite that they were able to bring an enjoyable season. I wish we knew how it would've been

As of yesterday I have watched all of the precure series it took me over a month to finish it and man it was a wild ride! Let's see how tropical rouge precure goes from here!

Nice video! I've only watched Healin Good, Star Twinkle, and Heartcatch in full so far, and currently watching Tropical Rouge.
Currently I would rank them like this (I'm gonna be watching Smile, DokiDoki, and HaCha soon tho, so this is obviously gonna change as I watch more seasons):
1. Star Twinkle (I have my gripes with it like how they wrapped things up in the end, but I really loved Lala and the overall space theme. It was a good time for me)
2. Heartcatch (The characters in here were all great as well as the plot and pacing. The only thing that I don't like are the villains, other than Dark PreCure and Sabaark they are really forgettable, sometimes I forget that they even exist)
3. Tropical Rouge (I won't say much right now since it is still airing, but I like it so far. Please give Sango and Asuka episodes tho. I love Manatsu, Minori, and Laura, but the others need development too. Sure, Sango has been changing in the background, but she hasn't got an episode since Episode 9)
4. Healin Good (This season was pretty average for me, but the fairies and Nodoka were highlights. Hinata was also a fun character, but her development was sadly cut due to the pandemic. I can care less about everything else tho, Asumi might be one of the most bland Cures personality wise, she didn't click with me at all)
Fresh as #1, you have incredible taste!
Fresh needs more love, for sure, especially since we have it to thank for many of the popular tropes in the franchise now.
If only we get a Precure Show was more Darker than Fresh, & Heartcatch Combinded, it's a Prime Video Exclusive.

A very well done video! I love seeing people’s top 10 lists. If I were to choose my 3 favorites they would be 1. Yes Precure 5/ GoGo 2. Healin’ Good and 3. Smile. I realized that after watching these three that I enjoy shows where the character development is in the forefront even if the story is secondary. I would take well developed characters over a great story with bland characters any day.
Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, no matter how epic the overall plot may be, if your characters are boring or annoying, it doesn't quite work.
Good list never see fresh at 1 hope its okay but i would love to share mine
17. 5 gogo- pointless season in my opinion and milk should of never became a cure i have no idea why that was the choice and precure 5 ended so well
16 Happiness charge- Cure fortunes story at the beginning made me angry and the love pentagon in the story it just wasnt needed but hime is awesome
15 Go princess beautiful designs and settings but terrible story a main character that made me wanted to bash my head against a wall (Sorry i now you like flora but i really don't like her and what she stands for) and a terrible message sorry i just dont think its a good idea that the message is to stay in lala land and let it control you life fantasy is fine but you need to have dreams that can actually happen and i think there only 3 characters that have dreams that they can achieve if this was like smile and dokidoki and didn't take itself seriously it would be a lot higher I mean no disrespect if you love this season great just didn't do it for me
14. Star twinkle- i like the characters and the story concept but it was way to unbalanced with screen time with each precure
13. Splash star- Honestly probably the most underrated season i like it i just think there are better seasons
12. max heart- again wasn't needed but im a bit more forgiving since this was the first season
11. Suite- I love the music concept and the middle part of the season but the beginning and end were weak
10. Smile- This is the only season where the mascot is my favourite character honestly candy just made this season again nothing wrong with this season i just like others more.
9. mahou tsukai- I love the concept of witches the season was cute funny and didn't take itself to seriously also ha chan shes so cute
8. 5- The story about dreams that worked brilliantly nozomi story is one of the best in the series i love all the characters and them trying to find there goals in life a lot of people don't know what they want to do and precure 5 has a good message saying one day you'll find that goal
7. futari wa- fantastic start to the precure season best action i love how nagisa and honoka are very different and they are best friends a very strong start to the precure franchise
6. Dokidoki- i love this season it would actually would be number one if they did one thing have regina as cure ace a lot of people don't like this series but i like how they didn't take it too seriously mana is my favourite pink cure because of the inspiration she gave to me as a teen when this show was airing i want to help people just like her people call her a mary sue she is my inspiration
5.kirakira- Again not a lot of people would have it this high but i love the designs and i think this show had the character with the strongest character development which was yukari but i do think a lot of the characters are the strongest in this season i don't really think they really needed to include cure parfait but it doesn't ruin the season
4. Hugtto- This would of been a masterpiece if it wasn't for one thing the all stars stuff it was so awkward to watch most of them didn't talk didn't even grunt but aside that this is the best story when it comes to achieving your dreams. Emiru and lulu have have the best friendship in my opinion and hana while im not as big of a fan of her as nozomi also has a strong and relatable plot
Now to what i call the master pieces
3. Fresh- The most underrated season of precure this was the first one i finished i love this season to pieces setsuna by far has the best redemption arc in any precure season i love the message of spreading happiness to others and the villains are the best in any season they make the season for me and fresh was got me into the series as a whole
2. Healin good- Is it fair to say if it ain't finished probably not but im confident this will stay here the characters of healin good are strong i want a dog called latte now i love how unique the characters are the idea of a frail girl becoming a precure nodoka chiyu and hinata are all great characters and the story amazing i love this show and im sad its coming to an end soon
1. Heartcatch- This is never gonna get beat this is an amazing season each character has to face something about themselves such as tsubomi with her confidence, erika with her sister rivalry itsuki with her more girlish side and yuri with grief i don't see precure going into topic such as self esteem and grief again that is what makes this season special
As of typing this tropical rouge has not aired yet but i don't have high hopes for it
Also if you agree or disagree thats fine to they are drawings at the end of the day and it would be boring if we all shared the same opinion :)

@@yukiurabe192 That's a fair point! I started with Futari Wa and watched in order after finishing so Max Heart to Splash Star ect. I did go back a few times to rewatch some episodes to break up the season to season watches. I will say Tropical Rouge is a hard sell for a first season since it is very different from other seasons for being very funny but also not serious for a large portion and while that made me happy as lighthearted seasons like that, somewhat smile till the end, and Kirakira are some of my favorites but it is very different from the norm of the franchise.
You have great taste in seasons, characters, fairies ects. The one about Kirara said no to be a cure because she had much in her plate was a great point😸 I love how you teach in your videos about things don´t need to be complicated to be fun to watch, the simpler things are mostly the best😸

Amazing list and honestly it's nice to hear that Go Princess is truly great as I have started it recently and hope it will be great granted it is kinda since I cried three times so far especially cause of a certain writer in Precure but still. I agree with you that Fresh is a massive explosion of first for the series as well as how it all works out. I love Setsuna, Inori and Love especially and while Miki isn't my cup of tea I can still get behind her as a character. The villains are great especially Wester who is one of my favorites in the series. I will say it isn't my absolute favorite as that is Splash Star hands down. It was such a good season fixing every problem with Futari Wa and in some cases improve the already good part. It's sad that you didn't get as much out of Kyiria as I did when watching Futari Wa but Michiru and Kaoru are better in pretty much every way especially how they are handled (thanks Max Heart). They are such good redemptive villains and every scene with them, Saki, Mai and even Manori makes my heart break and explode with happiness and sadness. It's also got the best finally IMO with great moment after great moment and I am with you that revelation of who the final boss is hit so well and so hard that I was shocked watching. I am also happy to hear someone else is going down or has gone down the road of watching all of Pretty Cure. I can't Finnish it this year, darn college work, but I hope to be at Huggato by January and be done Tropical Rouge by June. I loved watching this series this year and I am glad to here you feel the same!! Also weird question but have you scene the All Stars Movies and if you did will you discuss them at all? I feel they are so good!!! Like honestly they are some of my favorite experiences in this franchise what with action, comedy and sadness so I'd love to hear your thoughts on them to.

@@ToonGal12 Out of curiosity did you watch any of the futari wa dub? It was honestly what I watched for original Futari Wa and it's great IMO. The cast is so good especially Honoka and the dub keep most names except our leads the same as well as keeping the dub score. Even though 4kids dubs are something I cherish this dub has to be one of the best I have ever scene.

But I didn’t look into any of what the favourite seasons among fans are before watching, I just started with Princess simply cus of a violin clip on YT that caught my eye. So it’s just so nice after loving it so much to see I’m not alone to think so, it being at or near the top of almost all lists I’ve seen 😂 (Ofc, after seeing it, I absolutely plan on giving more a go)

Smile-smile-smile-smile-smile is my fav. by far, excels in every category IMO and is just pure fun and nice colors / designs to look at c: as a mecha fan I really love the SRW reference

@@ToonGal12 yes and not just them standing in the back with the crowd of civilians or blended in the background fights Dx I think after Smile or Doki Doki crossovers they stopped brining "everyone" back cuz of cost issues and availability of older seiyuus, or some of them vanishing off to other companies etc, so they're taking more of a super sentai approach (I think) where the current team will only team up with last year's team and or a random team.
oh man I need to catch up ........... been out of touch with precure for so many years now, pretty much watched everything up to the end of Smile, and haven't touched anything Doki Doki or beyond >.>
I really like your list! Fresh seems like a fun precure series (haven't watched it yet because it's not on the app that I use for watching anime).

Note: I haven't watched heartcatch fully (cause the app I used shut down), but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The characters amd the story was interesting, but I wasn't really invested in this series. (I watched around 18 episodes). The only moments I enjoyed where the moments with dark precure and yuri. I have to admit that heartcatch has the best first episode from precure though. Like, it started of amazing. Just a bit sad that I don't like it more, cause I heard great stories about it.
Tropical rouge precure was the most boring season for me. I didn't really like the characters (except for Laura), the fairy was useless, plot holes and there weren't any high stakes in the season. Not to mention that the fights were very short and not really well animated in my opinion.

I'll admit, I've never watched any PreCure series, but I've always thought this franchise and Kamen Rider are just begging for some kind of crossover. And concidering this countdown helped show some of the themes that are similar to other Rider shows, those personal ideas make Way too much sense.
If you like Kamen Rider or Power Rangers, you'll like Precure. :) The channel "AzenZone" is more knowledgeable on the subject of the history of the Toei franchises, and has published all sorts of videos comparing the different shows. They HAVE done Precure/Kamen Rider crossovers for commercials, so that's probably the closest we'll get.

Some great pairings would be Futari Wa Precure & Kamen Rider W , Maho Girls Precure & Kamen Rider Wizard, or Hugtto Precure & Z-io. These seem to make sense, at least when comparing themes and subject matter.

Go! Princess is amazing and cure scarlet!!! Like everything. The transformations. Like no flaws. Yeah kirara is my favorite cure just telling then “sorry I’m too busy” even how she tries to be strong like trying to act like everything’s OK at the end of her arc it’s so funny because first she did not want to become a cure, but then she realized that being a cure was important also grade character but was very blunt even telling aroma “yeah I know I saw” basically when he tried to tell her how to purify the monster after her first fight lol
Like kirara was that girl! She told haruka to come with her and see for herself. She was busy. And she was blunt and she was always ready to fight like a loved her character.
But I’m also like too I like a lot of the red cure transformations even if the cure isn’t my favorite. Like flamingo. But I do like her character design too.

The blue haired girl from the kiryu sisters in splash star definitely inspired the design of cure aqua 100%, and contrary to popular belief, it's pretty common for meta series to recycle characters's original concepts and adapt them to newer projects, probably this also happened with saki and mai being very similar to honoka and nagisa.
Good points there. It recently happened in Tropical Rouge, where Sango/Cure Coral was basically "what if Yui from GoPrincess became a Cure"?

Splash star is one of my favorites seasons. Yes Saki and Mai looks a lot like Nagisa and Honoka BUT unlike the girls they got new forms; Cure Bright and Windy who are beautiful X3 Also, their villains are entertaining. I like the Bug guy, he's funny X) The golden man too plus he gives the girls advices when they battle, how nice of him! He is evil but likes when his opponents are well trained and confident, this guy might not be that bad! Also, the opening is soooo catchy and upbeat; i wants to dance when i heard it, he's so good!
Gold man is kintolesky he's actually my favorite villain next to moerumba (fire villain) and the fact that he dresses like Santa Claus just makes me love him more 😂
Yay! Another person who likes Fresh! Its my favourite season. I love the season even though not a lot happens in it if you think of it and its basically doing the Zyu/Power ranger thing with Eas/Passion. Setsuna is my fav cure, she's so adorable and her teleportation powers are underused imo. Peach was my favourite pink cure but she got dethroned by Flora and Yell.

Now that I have money I am planning out to buy all the Fresh Precure figuarts. and a setsuna and love figure. I recently bought the Eas figure for just 130 euro! new! :D
It's a goal of mine to watch every season, but so far all I've seen all the way through are Futari wa season 1, Heartcatch, Smile, Kirakira a la Mode, and Healin Good.
I want to watch more but the site I use to get episodes from is a bit sketchy and limits how much you can download so I've mostly just seen what's on Crunchyroll
Yeah, that's the one tough thing about watching Precure (and a lot of other anime); you mainly have to rely on not-so-secure sites to do it. Just make sure your virus shields are up to date and you have a good ad blocker on.
soo happy to see splash star getting some deserved recognition for once. I watched it right after futari wa and immedeately thought it was just a huge improvement. While futari wa had some charm about it, I personally thought it was rather hard for me to sit through mainly because of the lack of substance and repetetiveness but splash star was like all of the charm from futari wa in a much more interesting and fleshed out package.
I know, right? I'm really hoping that the Splash Star team is brought back in one of the crossover movies (which have now moved away from bringing in every team and just teaming up the current group with a past group).

It's been okay so far. Though I kind of wish that the other girls would get more character focused episodes, and not have the whole show seemingly revolving around Laura.

I didn't find AI annoying in Doki doki precure. Not only this baby angel was adorable BUT he helped the girls to fight monsters a few times. He's not just there to be cute, he's useful too! That's what i like about this fairy :) Hugtan is great too but in one of the crossover movie, she brake the fourth wall which came out of nowhere and was weird :S She never did it in the anime but in the movie yes. That was strange!

Favorite Cure is mentioned in this video towards the end. As for least favorite, it would have to be Cure Precious from the latest season, "Delicious Party". She's just so bland and is severely under developed, like the entire season.

What are your thoughts on healing good now that it’s over
I really enjoyed it! It has its flaws (mainly with the wonky introduction of Cure Earth), but I blame much of that on the writers and producers having to work around the pandemic restrictions. For all the real life crap they had to go through, they still turned out a pretty good season, and it gave us , arguably, the best Pink Lead and Fairy Companion ever. Cure Grace and Rabblin's characterization was SO good.

Suite for having well fleshed out characters and a message of its show, mostly communication. To one of my favourite characters this season being the arguably funny with also emotionally interesting. Aka cure beat. Btw I may not like cure muse's design but her character was the better version of cure ace. Because 1. She had mystery and didn't come out of nowhere. And 2 she wasn't feeling so out of place compared to you know who!.
I like mahou tsukai for its themes and the fact how everyone wasn't butchered. Plus this has the mix of fantasy with emotional moments.
Tbh fresh is one of my favourite seasons. Only issue is that miki really wasn't that interesting..

I've seen it, yes. It started off really strong, but I think over time, the plot started to falter. But it was still way better than Delicious Party.

NEVER going to get another ENGISH DUB EVER the 3 that did ALL failed.
Of the three, I'd argue the first Futari Wa English dub was the best one. There was still some localization (like giving them English names), but otherwise, it remained pretty faithful to the source material and didn't completely change the story or anything. Maybe Viz Media could someday take a crack at it?
I wish but Toei will NEVER allow them for Funimation to EVER dub it.
