People don't understand how much of a gem st.Elizabeth is 😍 am from Manchester by st. E my second love.especially south field and have family in nain.
Watching from England? I’m from Black River. So much beach land by the Sea in Parottee. One of the reason why we need an International Airport in South West Jamaica.
I think there were some great investments in Hotels and guesthouses in Parottee in the 90s and 00s but things seems to slow down in the last 10 years, property prices, seems to fall off the peak as well. I think people realised that tourists are not going to travel 2 hours from Montego Bay Airport to the coastlines of St. Elizabeth, apart from the hardcore ones of course. I knew when all that land was just bushes, before they build the guess houses.
Jamaica is definitely beautiful. God has surely blessed us with a beautiful island paradise.
Unfortunately it is danger of being destroyed by criminals.

I know this area very well I attended the Parottee School and visited the church. I got baptised on right at Parottee beach. Have friends and school mate still there. Two of my former teachers are from the area.a former teachers are from the area. I played cricket there.

Yes Fire Reid,
I visited Parotee and Pelican Bar for the first time last May and I think Parotee and Treasure Beach are hidden gems in Jamaica. I favour Mandeville as I am from their but I would definitely live in Parotee, but I would want to live closer to an area that is quite a bit higher than sea level.
