Sam doesn't say "hostile" he says "uncivil"...there are civil groupies and UNcivil groupies. The sound on this clip is horrible, so it's hard to make out.
I imagine the aggression comes not from disliking them but from liking them a little to much, if you catch my drift lmao 🤣 like following them to their bus and throwing themselves at the boys 😂

Groupies are fans of a band/artist that actually establish relationships with the band/artist. Be it friendship , or more. They still exist today, but it’s becoming less and less of a thing.
2nd kind is more known as “fangirls/fanboys”. They are the fans that post vids, comments on media, and take pics with the band/artist.
Actually groupies are usually fans that follow the band around. Often times known as the girls that follow the bands around to sleep with the members. But really any kind of fan that of trips around to see multiple shows.
Half the time they never really even get to meet the members.
Franceska Costamagna Everyone has a different meaning of what a groupie is. The topic fascinates me in the rock music scene. The first half you described are groupies too, yes. But if they don’t even get to meet the band , then that makes them more in the fan girl category. Groupies are also the fans the band hangs with when they are in their city/town too. Most big name acts in rock today don’t do the groupie thing anymore ; it’s usually the small, lesser-known bands.
Jess Dayz well the definition is literally in the dictionary. All you have to do is google it to get the “correct” definition of it. Anything outside of that is just being misinformed of what the actual definition of the word is.
And I’m not talking about urban dictionary, it’s in the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

The sound is terrible, one can't make out they're saying. What's the point of posting a video if one can't hear the subjects? As far as I can remember I think that I've only given a thumbs down one time and this video is going to be my second time and not because of Sam and Josh of GVF, but because of the super poor quality of the audio on this video.
