Anyone else think it's fucked Verosika convinces Blitz to let Stolas get laid while he's vulnerable and drunk? Then again, we've seen how her and her crew handle consent..
You're missing the context entirely. Stolas seems more "sympathetic" purely because he and Blitz are on exact opposite ends in terms of acknowledging and regulating their own emotions. Stolas is repeatedly shown as less emotionally-guarded and better at emotional regulation, while Blitz's self-hatred and fear of abandonment are so deeply-rooted that self-destructive aggression and denial are his immediate response to genuine affection and feeling vulnerable. If you ignore the bigger picture, then 100% the character whose defense mechanism is lashing out looks like the "bad guy." The simple reality is that Blitz and Stolas are damaged beings who are both victims and equally at fault. This oversimplification of one of them as the "bad guy" needs to stop.

The reason that Stolas is so upset with Blitz is the fact that lil' imp insulted him during his most vulnerable moment. There Stolas was on the full moon, waiting for Blitz to come and ready to tell him their relationship could be something more than just "work related." Then, what does Blitz do...he insults Stolas, dismisses those feelings and claims he's just manipulating him. After hearing such genuinely hateful language from his "impish little plaything," can one REALLY blame Stolas for behaving the way he did here?
@@JUSTANOREO555 it's especially silly because Moxxie and Millie didn't do a bad job saving Stolas, they just didn't get there in time. Which would still have happened if Blitzø was with them. He just wanted the romantic fantasy of Blitzø swooping in to save him, and he can't have that with Moxxie and Millie. Also, Blitzø tried to tell him that he genuinely didn't know he could get hurt. He didn't know what weapons Striker had. He was so shocked when he saw Stolas being taken in and when Millie told him "Stolas got hurt bad." He didn't actually think Stolas could get hurt and he still sent the M&Ms, two perfectly competent assassins, to go save him while he took his daughter to make sure she wouldn't get rabies (I can only assume based on the pun that Hellbies would function similar to rabies, which makes it a very important shot to get). Stolas didn't know he could get hurt either, seeing how utterly calm and teasing he was with Striker. Why does he blame Blitzø for the same? I do have hope that he's gonna get his own comeuppance. He was seeing where he went wrong, only shut down by Verosika and Tex because Ms. Mayday is spiteful and just wants to say "fuck you Blitzo" instead of acknowledging that maybe Stolas wasn't 100% in the right either. But I don't think the show wants you to be on Verosika's side there. My main reason though is the Octavia line. I can't wait to see it in context. I think she's gonna be the one that makes Stolas realize he's not been a great person, letting his romcom fantasy take priority over everyone else's feelings. I will love getting to see Octavia tell her dad "You never loved mom and you don't love me! You love HIM." (I also just wanna see more Octavia at all because she deserves a lot of character development. By far the most interesting premise on the show imo: girl comes from a broken family where her parents care more about hating each other than loving her. People talk about Millie not getting enough character development and being just a prop for a male character, but Octavia doesn't either and I feel like there's so much more established about her to work with than Millie, and she's basically just a prop for Stolas to show he's a good dad even when he isn't really one so I want more of her.)

Exactly! Like I said in the video while Blitzo is by no means a perfect little angel you can't just hound on only one party for there mistakes but then turn a blind eye when your own side does problematic shit as well!
Something that bothered me during the episode is unironically the exes at verosikas party, for several reasons. 1. Dennis is there, so apparently a one night stand counts as a ex, which makes me think: why would they feel bad if Blitzo left them when they never had a relationship in the first place? If they do, i don't think it's Blitzo's problem. 2. They are too many, which means Blitzo dated several people at the same time or every few days or weeks he started and ended a relationship. Since he is presented to always be lonely as hell and hated by everyone, how did he manage to impress that many people, considering that some still cry about their ralationship with him? 3. Like you mentioned, they are terrible people as well. They literally throw an entire party devoted to hating Blitzo and they also burn, stab and torture toys or dolls in Blitzo's shape. Being an asshole in a relationship is bad but being a deranged sadistic psychopath is a whole other level.

I actually would say more than half of a blame, because let's be frank here it was Stolas who calls the shots in this arrangement. He was the one, "suggesting" full moon meetups, and it's nature, he was the one fetishizing Blitz's entire speeches, he was the one calling him his "impish little plaything", and even in Full Moon, he was the one with all the power, driving Blitz to literal tears, making him think he is taking back his book, and without it Blitz will louse his business he worked so hard for, just so that bird brain jerk could have his dramatic speech locking Blitz (who has huge abandonment issues himself) in a constant state of reaction, and throwing him out when he actually tried to get Stolas to talk and explain himself.

And he didn't have a dramatic speech that was clearly Blitz who had it, and he had every right to throw him out and Blitz already said everything he can't just take it back or have Stolas believe that really. Right and the whole argument was due to bad communication. Blitzø was trying to talk things out more to understand. Sure he got a bit heated but I can’t blame him too much given how bad the communication was on Stolas’s part. I do understand the train wreck of neither of them wanting or knowing how to admit more of their feelings to the other. In this situation a lot of the problems come from Stolas being bad at communicating things. Blitzø also isn’t great at communicating things either but in this context he was trying. It wasn’t always in the best way. He’s sometimes more explosive than needed. He is trying in his own weird way
"I'm not over it, but I'm over you." She states that the parties are meant to help all of the other people he has hurt in othe relationships including herself. While she has moved on from blitz she has not moved on from the experience of being abandoned. Thats what she's coping with.

The thing that has always miffed me is how the show portrays Stolas as an innocent victim at all times. I've never understood why they chose that route in the first place when we can see with our own two eyes that he's constantly infantilizing Blitzo, disrespects Blitzo's boundaries, treats Blitzo like a borderline pet, coerced Blitzo, and constantly neglects his own daughter, causing her to run off not once, but twice, because he would rather lust after Blitzo and get into spats with his ex-wife over the phone. With everything that Stolas has done, he is not the victim, and I don't have a shred of sympathy or empathy for him
Exactly, lol I personally think this episode may have been an underlying subcommentary about the dangers of only looking at relationships through a one sided lens and only acknowledging what one side has to say rather than looking at it through both partner lenses equally something that we as individuals have likely been guilty of from time to time. Maybe, that's a little bit too deep of a look into the episode but that's personally the underlying message that I kind of saw pop up the most through out apology tour.

Yeah, it pisses me off how manipulative the writing for HB is in that they turn Stolas into the perfect victim. Pretty much everyone connected to him has hurt Stolas in some way: His father was neglectful and forced him into an arranged marriage. His ex wife is just an evil harpy who abuses him because she's evil. Andreaphus is conspiring to steal his wealth. Striker has tried to kill him twice. Blitzo is emotionally distant and made him cry by calling him out. Yet Stolas isn't blameless and I am tired of the show acting like he is. I.M.P kill people for money and it's treated as slapstick, but when Stolas is in the crossfires suddenly it's immoral?
My main issue is that the show is gaslighting the audience into thinking blitzo genuinely loves stolas when hes only doing it for profits and is rather annoyed. Same with stolas aside from having seen him as a kid , he neve shown any real genuine relationship for blitzo other than horney so Why are they lovers again 😅😅

For me, it's the fact Blitzo asked Stolas if he wanted him to apologize, for personally feeling worthless around Stolas due to his own anxiety and belief that no one would ever truly love him, especially someone as powerful as Stolas, and Stolas basicly said "yes" like huh?!
Yes! Stolas literally told him to apologize for feeling worthless. Why would you say this to a person who hates themselves? You want to make them feel bad for feeling not good enough which itself makes them feel terrible? Of course, self-hatred is not an excuse for hurting people but Stolas is one person that wasn't affected by Blitzø low self-esteem and self-destructive tendencies. So Stolas saying this is one of the most victim-blaming lines he has ever said.

Yet Stolas didn't consider what a confession of self hatred means - that Blitz is mentally unwell and he might have been contributing to the problem. I was mad at Blitz for letting Stolas deny his accusations of looking down on him, and I was mad at Stolas for not picking up on that confession. Dude just admitted a severe problem he needs help with and you don't notice? Even more disappointing considering the Look My Lyrics that imply he does know Blitz has walls up and wants to help him.

Ah yes Stolas the victim here; the royal exploiting his class dynamic with the lowest possible class one can be, the one who sexually harassed his partner, the one who imposed a sign of furthering the relationship without good partner's consent, the one who (while aware of how the imps see royals) said he's just like one of the others, and to top it off, used pet-names around others against his partner's explicit disapproval. This could've been so much more but they dropped the ball. It would've been nice for Blitz to point out that during that first conversation Stolas was always looking down on him then when he says he doesn't Blitz could retort saying "RIGHT THERE! What pissed me off the most about this episode was when the show tried to portray Verosika as this unsung hero that's trying to help people get over what Blitzo did to them, but she's not. Misery loves company, and all the party does is fuel each others' anger and hate rather than actually healing and learning to forgive Blitzo. I understand that what Blitzo may have done to them is horrible, but it's hard to claim this party helps people cope when they clearly aren't getting better, and you have one EVERY YEAR. I miss the first season where Verosika was a petty ex and we understood why in the Ozzy episode, but now it's like her hating Blitzo is her whole personality trait. While it's true it's hard to forget someone's wrongdoings, dwelling on them is NOT healthy, and you can't do that forever.

Nothing about her previous appearances paint her as an angel, and yet she was made to be a victim. Why bother making her a petty bitch if that isn't part of the breakup? I liked the beginning of your comment, but then... you should think of the reasons behind Verosika's behavior. Why she's like this. While he is no angel like the fandom portrays her, she is still a pretty deep character.
The exes are indeed terrible people. They literally celebrate a party devoted to SOLEY hating Blitz. They torture and burn anything that’s in the shape of him, implying that they REALLY want him dead. Being upset from a break up and healing from it is important. Being a sadistic, deranged psychopath and wanting the person dead really badly are both not two of them. Not to mention that Blitz is getting guilt tripped and made to look hated, when he is just a troubled victim who’s scared to be loved. He unintentionally caused: 1. The burning of his family’s circus. 2. The presumed death of his own mother. 3. The burned scars of his own best friend, not to mention losing him (but don’t worry they made up). 4. The strained relationship with his own twin sister. Not to mention that he was presumably already a victim of constant guilt tripping, as seen in “The Circus” episode, of how his father guilt trips him into stealing. It even hits hard knowing that his dad never cared about him to begin with, preferring Fizz rather than his own son, as seen in one of the flashbacks from “Oops” with him literally giving Fizz a card that says “Wish you were my son”. Now with Stolas. I genuinely think his character development so far is terrible. He says that he wants genuine love, but all he does to Blitz is use him for s3x. He does lack self awareness, according to Viviziepop, and it doesn’t make it any better. “Blitzo...I think so very highly of you...” NO YOU DIDN’T YOU FEATHERY RET@RD! I literally have heard you call him sh!t like “Impish little plaything”, and it makes Blitz UNCOMFORTABLE. Stop trying to defend yourself! Anyways, seeing him hook up with that incubus makes me immediately know that he’s gonna do the same thing that he did with Bliz during Season 1 with that guy. I honestly prefer to see Blitz as the victim rather that Stolas himself. Imagine having a partner of a different race and calling them “Blackish little plaything” or any of that sh!t. It’s plain out R@CIST and I hate it when people are r@cist. It just makes me uncomfortable how Stolas can just use Blitz for s3x, and that bird just getting away with it by making the audience think he’s a victim. We don’t know when he’s gonna realize that his actions are in the wrong. Unless it’s from a random twist of fate, or just Andrealphas punching him in the face, Stolas is just gonna keep playing the victim until he can finally realize how wrong he is. And so far, at least Blitz genuinely wants to change and recover from his trauma. Stolas is just “oh I’m unloved he’s so toxic woah is me”. Hopefully somehow he can finally gain self awareness. But right now, I hate him for not realizing that he’s been using Blitz and not apologizing to him for making Blitz feel used. And I’m genuinely surprised he has the audience that doesn’t mind that. Tldr: Blitz is a troubled clown boi who needs to heal and Stolas’s character in general so far is terrible and we need him to somehow have a wake up call. I also have this funny idea if I.M.P being on the run because of Blitz’s exes cuz the exes hear Emberlynn loudly simping for Blitz and the exes chasing I.M.P down a la “The Simpsons Movie”.
@@Rainbowsyoungersister Your points with Stolas just highlight the entire point of his character - that he lacks self awareness due to social isolation. He's not trying to "defend" himself, he's genuinely that oblivious. He at least tried reaching out to make things less about sex and took them out of transaction mode. Blitz was going to keep them in that arrangement for as long as he could, which was unhealthy for both of them. Many of us are in the camp that this all being done on purpose, and that his wakeup call later will be more satisfying when it comes. People seem to think the writers don't realize they're writing him this way, and they do.

An entire month went by with just people being "Poor Stolas, Blitz really fucked up akd those two-" like uh, hello? Blitz and Stolas BOTH fucked up, and Blitz imo objectively did a little less. Honestly, stolas should not have been in the episode like at all. Verosika is the only character in that episode who really deserves an apology from Blitz. She had every right to be angry with blitz with what he did. The whole reason he is even an "ex" in the first place is nothing short of his own fault.
Again like I said in this episode while I don't agree with Blitzo committing the act of ghosting in no way, shape, or form does it warrant the constant obsession and attacks towards his family and people he cares about like moxxie! They both need to apologize for there messed up actions!

6:40 Actually, S2 Ep4 could have been a great episode to develop Stolas' character. Maybe Striker's words could have made Stolas realize how uncomfortable his talking-down was to Blitz, and they could've slowly made him realize all of his mistakes eventually. idk tho
Tbh I think that was supposed to be the point, which is why in his next appearance Stolas is trying to find a way for Blitzø to go to the living world without his book. It's done horribly as there's no clear scene of him reflecting on his behavior, so no one picks up on it.
Imagine if in S2E2, Blitzø’s panic attack was still there. Stolas was going to make the usual sexual remark just like he did in the real episode. “Blitzø, if your performance is as half as good in bed-“ But then he stops. We get a quick flashback to Ozzie’s where Blitzø explained that he thought their relationship was only about sex. Stolas doesn’t continue the remark but instead tells Blitzø his performance will be great. And then in S2E4, Stolas realizes how uncomfortable those words are, further cementing that he doesn’t want to keep treating Blitzø like this.
Havent watched but if you forgot this, Stolas is a hypocrite because in Ozzie's club, he hid his face and did NOTHING, he let Blitz get ridiculed, if he says he truly loves him, he would not hide and fight verbally & DEFEND BLITZ! Also Verosika? She is literally making a Party for hating Blitz, he's not with her anymore and is just obsessive, she hasnt moved on and yet has the nerve to comfort & give a slice of Cake. Viv's writing is genuinely horrendous with this logic and other things especially Hazbin, I quit keeping up with her shows when I heard that Hazbin did not improve anything and her writing is just the same as it has been before.
Ah, nice catch there I hadn't actually noticed that ironic how Blitzo did more defending by standing up against Millie and Moxxie getting dogged on at ozzie's than stolas did for his own supposed partner really speaks volumes of how little he took blitzo seriously as a partner within this relationship.

A lot of people don't feel comfortable confronting conflict head on. I do think he should have tried harder to figure out what he did to Blitz that night - he did ask Blitz later about saying/doing anything wrong, but thought Blitz's response of "It's whatevs" means it's ok. He should have pressed further.

The thing that annoys me most with this episode is the whole apology premise. It’s started by Stolas saying ‘do you ever feel sorry’ or something. Fucker Blitz has said sorry to you the most. He said sorry for not wanting to be around Stolas after Ozzie’s, he said sorry that he couldn’t go save him over Loona’s shot, he tried to say sorry in Full Moon when Stolas had the balls to cry over Blitz having realistic views on him based on how he’s acted. Stolas said “alright” in Ozzie’s he clearly heard that one! And this is what you want him to apologise for? Blitz’s is right to me the most he has to apologise for is yelling but that only happened because Stolas didn’t let the ‘conversation’ in Full Moon have any breathing room.
That's the point that I'm keep bringing up! The whole point of "Apology tour" existence is actually non-existent. Making this episode just a mistake of the universe!
Yes, exactly that's the key difference between Stolas and Blitzos ownership of accountability Blitzo in his ownership goes into full on detail of what he's being sorry for, and doesn't at all beat around the bush where as Stolases "ownership" is just your stereotypical RUclipsr like apology where the person just says there sorry but doesn't go into detail about what they did and what there apologizing for. Personally, I also don't think Blitzo owes stolas anything for the striker situation Blitzo clearly explained to Stolas that this medical treatment was of utmost necessity to Loona's wellbeing with Stolas even conceding to this exact point, and not only that but Blitzo even made sure to send stolas helpful assistance against Striker. So, for Stolas to have both the full knowledge and context of why Blitzo couldn't rightfully be there and try and attempt to use the situation as a gotcha is both disgusting and speaks lowly of stolas as both a father figure and as a partner himself. If anything stolas should be grateful that Blitzo is so many classes below him because if he was speaking this way towards anyone of equal or upper hell class he would get his absolute teeth kicked in.

Honestly, Stolas just wants the Disney Ride version of a relationship. He doesn't care who with, so long as they fit a romance novel trope and deliver his fantasy. The one thing I found the most insane was that there were literally couples at the anti-Blitz party. The implication being they met there. So most reasonable people at this point would go "so yeah, the experience was shitty, but something good came out of it, so in a way we have him to thank for the fact we met" then stop focusing on their ex and enjoy their new relationship so the fact they were still attending shows an unhealthy obsession and if you're still hung up on an ex like this you're not ready for a new relationship yet
Maybe some of them wanted that same kind of commitment from Blitzo, but he just used them for sex and just bailed on them in the worst way possible. And some of them might have their own personal issues and Blitzo found a way to make them worse.
@@samflood5631 well, the one thing I didn't like about the argument in this video was that they had no right to blame Blitzo for not wanting more. But if that was all he wanted, this could've easily been communicated at the beginning. He could've very easily said that he wasn't looking for anything long term, or any real commitment, then everyone could've gone their separate ways at the end with less hard feelings. Whether it's just that Blitzo is severely lacking in communication skills department, or was purposely being vague or cagey from the onset would make you feel for the party goers, as intentions were not clear from the start. But this is all conjecture as there's a lot going on here and a lot up to interpretation

I agree. Octavia deserves better parents. Her whole life, she was nothing more than insurance to her mother and uncle and she was just a means of making her father look sympathetic despite all of the horrible things he’s done. The second time Stolas saved Octavia, every step in their father and daughter relationship they had to do over and over again, but she’s not. After all that she’s been through, she’s not giving Stolas another chance. I know a lot of people want Octavia and Stolas to be a family again, but Stolas clearly doesn’t.
Blitzø ghosted Verosika, making her pay for the hotel room and stole her car and credit card to then spend her money on horse riding lessons. He didn't simply break up with him. Still, most of your points about Verosika stands. Even if he ended their relationship in such terrible way, she had no right to make fun of Barbie and assault Moxxie. I can give her the benefit of the doubt that MAYBE she was in bad terms with Blitzø's sister. But Moxxie? He did nothing wrong! He just wanted to talk things out in a civil manner. What reason does Verosika and her crew had for SA-ing him other than him being Blitzø employee? None! She did it just to annoy Blitzø. I honestly used to see Verosika as sympathetic. Because in the concept, she really is! Protagonist's ex who got hurt by him but used to love him so much that she can't let go. It gives her deepth - motivations, conflict, fatal flaw. But the execution made her look spiteful and petty. Not to mention that there's no way Blitzø was in a relationship with all these people. There's just too many of them. And there's even a way to confirm it - Dennis is there. The person Blitzø didn't want to have sex just because he did not like his name. So you don't need to be in a relationship with the imp nor even sleep with him to get on this party. I swear, most of this people just slept with Blitzø once, forgot about him, got reminded by Verosika's invitation and went on the party just because it was hosted by a celebrity. Maybe even pretended to hate Blitzø just to get closer to their idol. No one can convince me otherwise. I don't even have energy to talk about Stolas. You've said everything I had in my mind about him and more. That only think you didn't mention is that he must very much have problems with memory because Blitzø did apologize. Honestly, it seems to me that Stolas is a manipulator. Not a lover or ex. If they ever got into a relationship, there is quite a high chance it could be abusive/toxic and Blitz is actually the victim.
If they become couple without Stolas apologizing to Blitzø before hand, I'll continue seeing this relationship as toxic and recognize this as Blitzø getting guilt-tripped into this. After "Apology tour" Blitzø is clean for me since he apologized to Stolas (even if for all wrong reasons) and understood his mistakes. So unless he's going to do something terrible in the future, currently I'm focused only on Stolas' faults because they weren't adressed and he did not say sorry even once for them.
I don't think Stolas would be abusive to Blitz. I could see him being needy and dependent, but not abusive. I think it's pretty obvious Ozzie and Fizz are going to help them later.

it seems like somehow people also forget that Stolas and Blitz’ relationship did not only begin as transactional sex, but was also an affair. Regardless of how Stolas felt about Stella, he was still married and Blitz knew that. So why would he have any reason to believe that Stolas was taking their “favors for favors” relationship seriously? And of course that’s not including the way Stolas has belittled him throughout their time together.

People usually ship characters because of their dynamics and chemistry, not because of if they would be healthy. But your question still stands because Blitz and Stolas have no chemistry whatsoever.
I guess in there mind them being not so compatible is what makes them so shippable like the fundamentals of sweet and sour I guess? There so different concepts but equally put together all the time.
Maybe not them as they are now, but perhaps if they redeem themselves towards one another, dropping bias and ego, and start giving each other actual love. But I imagine they will both meet someone else and the fandom will melt down because a majority of them can't handle change. Not that this show seems particularly redeemable. Notice how Blitz says 'easiest lengthy ticket' here, not 'only ticket', and Blitz knows about Asmodean Crystals, as evidenced by Unhappy Campers where Blitz forces someone to use it to create a portal to the living world, so the grimoire was never the only option Blitz could've used to run I.M.P. Sure losing the grimoire would've disrupted business for a bit, but again, it was never Blitz's only option, so the coercion argument already falls flat there, but let's beat it up a bit further shall we? Now let's look at S1 E7, at the ending of it Stolas never pressures or forces Blitz into having sex with him or quote 'We could talk, or… watch a movie, or… maybe cuddle?', Blitz turns Stolas down here, and Stolas never forces or pressures Blitz into doing said things with him, and you know what this also proves? It proves that Blitz has always had the self-agency to tell Stolas 'no I don't want to fuck you', which also shows that Blitz actually wanted to have sex with Stolas, which we can prove by the text messages Stolas and Blitz had after Ozzie's. The text messages at the end of Western Energy show that Stolas is actively giving Blitz the option to not fuck him, which also tells us that Blitz always had the option to tell Stolas no, and hell, we can see in the All 2 U song that Blitz turned down Stolas most likely asking Blitz to stay after the sex, proving even further Blitz always had the self-agency to tell Stolas no, which shows that Blitz wanted to have sex with Stolas. I sure wish there was a funny little song showing Blitz wanting to fuck Stolas out of his entire own free will to just really drive in the point, -oh wait that actually exists with 'When I See Him Tonight" from Full Moon. and now let's look at Apology Tour again, Blitz wants the arrangement back, to fuck Stolas again. He shouldn’t have pushed it, but Stolas firmly and calmly puts him down. And anyway, the next sentence says “not really but if you take it out of context” so I have no idea how it’s relevant anyway. Anyway, not trying to be a hater or anything lol, I don’t know how I feel about whether or not Stolas is. I just wanted to say I think that point is weird and unnecessary
Stolas has no control of his life or relationship with his wife. HERE is something he finally has control over...and he abused his power and the situation and even seems to get off on it. It's understandable, but as you said inexcusable. It sucks that Stolas couldn't be who he wanted to be, but that's not Blitz's fault either.
Yeah, it's really no wonder that Blitzo got whiplash from the emotional 180 that Stolas pulled on him. At some point, Stolas decided he wanted something entirely different from Blitzo and didn't communicate at all; and at this point he's even mad at Blitzo for talking to him the way he insisted on early in the series. Stolas is a totally different person at this point and he should step back and realize why he's got Blitzo angrily grasping at straws for what he did wrong.
Stolas always wanted more than sex. He settled it for it at first, but was naive in thinking that sex alone would lead to a relationship. That's why he was frustrated at the beginning of Ozzie's, because he didn't get why it wasn't romantic yet. However, he was never clear about that until after Ozzie's.
My biggest problem with HB is how they victimize Stolas to a ridiculous level. At the start he was very ruthless, kinda even ""SA"" on Blitzo, doing this "If you have sex with me, I'll give you this". (I know Blitzo also "likes" this deal, but you know). Cheated on his wife and while it was a political marriage, its still his wife. Talking about Stella, apparently out of nowhere...she was abusive?? What?? They told us that on S2E1 and we never saw Stella being abusive before, and all that just to make Stolas look better. And finally since S2, Stolas is just "awww lil gay baby is vewwy sowwy" and EVERYONE TREATS HIM LIKE THAT, both Fandom and producers
I felt this episode was sensationalizing Blitzo's flaws because when he went to party, he had so many damn exes its crazy. Like all we knew as audience is he had Verosika as an ex and thats it. Nothing more (maybe I missed something but thats all was told to us) now to make us feel bad the writers decide to throw us in a room full of so called exes who blizto supposedlt hurt to make us go Blitz is the devil, look at this evil freak who hurts stolas and verosika when one, he has every right to hate or be upset at Stolas and yes what he did to Verosika was bad, its not that awful. She could literally choose to let her anger subside and leave Blitzo alone but nope, she gotta be a obsessed with it to make Blitzo look bad. Its over exaggerated to the point I know this episode was just trying to paint Blitzo as a bad person. Again like I said in the video while I don't agree with Blitzos past actions towards Verosikas, Verosikas response to consistently obsess over him and make digs at his family and also assault moxxie in retaliation is absolutely out of line! Like Verosikas this Blitzo obsession has become unhealthy and needs to stop! 3:40 The problem (at least in Verosika's case) wasn't that Blitz didn't want a serious relationship. It was that when Verosika said that she wanted to get serious, instead of calmly declining, Blitz ran off without saying anything (or even leaving a note), stole Verosika's car, crashed said car and maxed out all her credit cards. That's the part Verosika was upset about. And considering he did that to her, I wouldn't put it past him to have done similar things to all his other exes. If he would have from the get-go made it clear that he didn't want to get serious, then I'm pretty sure non of his exes would be that upset.

Sorry but I’m gonna have to correct you about Blitz hurting Fizz on purpose. It was NOT on purpose. It was an accident, like Blitz stated, and it showed it was that one scene. While he was walking away from the tent, Blitz pushed a guy who was carrying a cake out of his way a little too hard. As a result, the candle from the cake set the tent on fire, which eventually led to the explosion, and Fizz being injured. Something Blitz didn’t realize had happened until it was too late to stop it.
Tbf Stolas wouldn't have known about that. Ok true Stolas was in the wrong about that (although no he usually doesn't treat imps like that really) I mean no he does care about her he just needs to do better, which yeah the show acknowledges clearly.

I needed this video. I felt like I was going crazy when I finished the episode and all the comments were about how great Verosika is and how bad Blitz is. Wtf? If I'm still this hung up on an ex that wasn't abusive years later after he broke up with me, that's on me, not on him. Blitz sucks at relationships, but he has the right to end it at any point and for any reason, not to mention some of those people were at that party just because Blitz had sex with them. If they caught feelings in ONE night and hoped for more, that's on them, Blitz didn't promise anything more to them than what he gave. Don't even get me started on Stolas... A lot of people say that he will be called out next episode, but I don't watch sneak peaks and that doesn't make watching this episode any less frustrating. And what's with this complete segregation of Blitz's character arc episode and supposedly incoming Stolas' character arc episode anyway? I hate the defense of "Stolas is supposed to be wrong in what he says to Blitz here and lacking self awareness" because... can't you show it a little in the episode? Can't you have one conversation where the two properly call out each other without making Blitz seem like the irrational one with an army of people who were "hurt" by him just like Stolas was? And actually, between the two of them, Stolas should be the one who has his arc first because he's the one who held power in the relationship and in the society as a whole, plus it would work with kickstarting Blitz' arc in a way that's not stupid and petty. Imagine Stolas genuinely apologizing, but Blitz doesn't know how to react and leaves, then he wants to talk about it with someone so he goes to his old friends and exes, but no one in his life wants to hear him out because he's a shitty person so who cares if he's hurting from his relationship with Stolas (and then you can have Blitz accidentally meet Verosika, who turns out to be the only one actually willing to listen and give him advice, in the process giving her the idea that maybe she could be a better person too and she can receive an apology from Blitz for the way he treated her, just not for the act of breaking up in itself). I don't know, I came up with this on the spot so it's not great, but either way there's plenty of ways to write this break up and arc in a way that's not bafflingly one sided and annoying to see.

Yes, exactly while I do indeed agree that Blitzo definitely has had his fair share of regretful actions and behaviors towards others at the end of the day if you are to hound him consistently for his errors then the same logic needs to be applied towards Verosika, Stolas, and all of the other exes as well!
How ridiculous must it be to have such mediocre writing that basically a joke, which was the issue of Stolas being a perverted bird, becomes basically the focus of the story
In sarcastic chorus's video when he brought up the party, he mentioned how with the amount of people there, and how a lot of them are hook-ups, one night stands, or people he made out with once at a party (Dennis), Verosika is just unhealthily stalking and obsessing over anyone who had even a moment of physical intimacy with Blitzø to invite them to this party. She invited Stolas the day after they broke up. Im hadd pressed to believe she'll never heal from this because of how obsessive she is over these hurt feelings
Ah yes, the victim, Stolas, who: - Is incredibly racist towards Imps (and idk about hellhounds because he doesnt even seem to notice they are there). *Never showed to change that view* - Fetishizes the shit out of Imps. *Never showed to change that view* - Was the one that "suggested" (not really a suggestion when you are a royal who could get Blitz and co killed on the spot) a sexual transaction in the first place, making Blitz be OBLIGATED to have sex with Stolas. Or else he wont be able to keep the company going, thus making him, Loona and the M&Ms financially at risk. *Never apologized for that or acknowledged it* - Guilts Blitz for not being the one to save Stolas from Striker, even though its not Blitz's responsability to save him, and even then, Blitz still sent his workers there because he had to be with his daughter. *Never apologized or acknowledged it* - Showed he was ashamed of his relationship at Ozzy's, further humiliating Blitz. *Wasnt direct while apologizing and didnt make up for it* - Made Blitz think he was gonna loose the book and his means of income because Stolas wanted to be over dramatic, then got mad when Blitz didnt get it. *acts like its Blitz fault* - Doesnt really care for his daughter, only when it means he can either stick it to his Ex-wife, or use it as an excuse to see Blitz. *His daughter was in the human world and he wasnt even the one to find her because he was busy thirsting over Blitz* So Viv, what do you mean to tell us when you make stolas look like a victim?
Amusing how this episode makes Blitzo looks so much better than everybody else since he seems to actually be self-reflecting and attempting to try and help himself. For all his fuck ups in the episode, at the end he really seemed to have some kind of different perspective on his actions and the people he's interacted with. He's actually accepting some of his mistakes whereas everyone else seems stuck in a hypocritical, self-pitying, lack of self-reflecting, consequence-less, self-justifying losers that have insanely unhealthy levels of either obsession and/or pride.
We know. But the problem is when the show attempts to put all the blame on Blitzo while simultaneously victimizing Stolas and Verosika as if they are any better
Honestly despite the whole concept of Verosika’s party is essentially her being spiteful, this episode actually made me like her and want to root for her and Blitzø’s relationship. Like I know it’s not the end goal, but I want them to get back together because it literally feels like they are a better match for one another then… sToLaS (Sorry I just REALLY hate him) Verosika at least seems to want Blizø to be better, and in the ned I can understand she is hurt despite everything, but I can’t with Stolas, I just can’t with him. Edit: I do agree that Verosika is toxic, especially in her first episode, but somehow she’s still better than Stolas and I feel if they work on themselves they would be a way better couple then Stolas.
Again like I said in the video while I don't agree with Blitzo committing the act of ghosting her Verosikas response to consistently obsess over him and make digs at his family and also assault moxxie in retaliation is absolutely out of line! Like Verosikas this Blitzo obsession has become unhealthy and needs to stop! Ultimately I think blitzo and Verosika should just stop engaging with each other and just keep each others names out of there mouths like Verosika your not hosting party for Blitz's other exes your doing bc it makes you powerful to initiate a dogpile on someone you despise! Both you and your exes have toxic tendencies that you need to work so y tf is Blitzo only being grilled for his behavior???

There's also that detail when Blitzø looks through photos in his phone at the end of "Ozzie's". He looks at his photo with Verosika and his photo with Stolas. The difference is that on his photo with Verosika he has genuine, wide smile, showing that even if he was afraid of serious relationship, he felt good being with her. But on his photo with Stolas in bed... you could argue he smiles but even if what he had on his face was a smile it's nothing in comparasion to his picture with Mayday.

Millie is getting a big part in "Ghostfuckers." She wasn't written to be alone with Blitz for the hell of it. Many fans have mentioned Viv confirmed a while ago that Stolas and Blitz are endgame. I do not know the source of this info, though.

I... did we watch the same show? Blitz broke into stola's house, came onto him first while trying to steal the priceless book he uses to do his job, tied him to bed and was about to leave him there tied untill he got guilty, he then proceeded to ruin his (already faulty) marriage, blitz could have just left, he was never obligated to stay the nigth with stolas, as for the deal, blitz quite literally agreed out of his own free will. Like, I'm not saying stolas is a perfect baby that does no wrong, but saying he graped blitz is a bit of stretch in my book

I won't be afraid to admit it, I was once on Stolas's side, but it was mostly just my desperation for their ship to work out. But as I kept watching, I realized how shitty this relationship was. Sure, Blitz did do some pretty shitty things, but Stolas isn't in the right either. Blitz has a right to not want this relationship, he still tried to get Stolas help even when he was busy. He does seem to care for Stolas, he's just scared to be vulnerable and thinks he incapable of being loved. And Stolas doesn't have a right to keep playing the victim, whether he's aware of it right now or not, he needs to realize his mistakes and try to change, and not expect for Blitz to be the only one to change in this relationship.
I was also on Stolas side, but after Full Moon and watching a lot of videos on their relationship it just dawned on me how toxic and fetishized the ship is, the show definitely tries to gaslight their viewers.

Both Full Moon and Apology Tour were extremely overhyped and disappointing. Fans only praised the Hell outta these episodes because of Stolitz. I could care less about that sorry excuse of a ship. "The show isn't all about I.M.P. going to Earth killing people" It's also not about this melodrama between an imp and a royal stuck up bird. For Full Moon, I only liked it because of the Cherubs and agents but they shouldn't have been in the episode in the 1st place. They were only there for filler and the runtime. Since that was the case why couldn't you just make the episode shorter Vivzie? That's a problem not hard to solve. Apology Tour wasn't any better and I'm glad that some people like you, me, and other people see how bad the writing is. Fans don't pay attention to it all and just jack off to the animation and characters. The writers really expected us to know all of these people that Blitz used to date? The Hell?? What kinda shit is that? I love Verosika but I agree with her not being innocent either. We get it. Blitz did hurt you but why can't you just move on by either finding another partner or just staying single? Your bitterness and constant grudge towards him is doing nothing but fucking you up mentally. Hosting an "Anti-Blitz" party was totally uncalled for. Did Blitz need to apologize for his actions? Yes, but you should've apologized to him too. Both of you are in the wrong of the relationship. I really didn't get how readily everyone flipped to "she's the victim!" with Verosika and bought the whole, totally bizarre, premise of her hate party being a necessary group therapy session. What total BS. Only someone with as poor self esteem as Blitz or as big of a drama lama as Stolas would believe that. She is obviously a controlling psycho who is completely obsessed with Blitz since he is the 'one who got away' or probably more accurately, the one who escaped. The party attendees being devastated exes seems bizarre. They are, at most, one night stands or short term flings, so ghosting is accepted behavior. If they are that devastated, Blitz has legendary-level magical abilities of attraction. I have the feeling Blitz is just a fun meme or cryptid to them, and they're mainly there for the free booze and celebrity sponsored party.

Show writing is a trаsh fire. I wrote similar plots and character development when I was 15. She is 30+ y o. Vivziepop is a fantastic artist but jesus she should've hired good writers to do writing and develop characters instead of her.
Agreed, but she would also double down and make excuses of her writing faults. And to top it all off, she would "explain" of her characters in the form of a Twitter post.
I think one of my biggest issues with the show is the lack of character/writing consistency and how that hurts the character. Take the Striker situation... I personally don't think Blitzo really "owes" Stolas anything for the whole Striker situation + kidnapping (especially when Blitzo has had his life put in danger due to Striker as well), Stolas knew why Blitzo couldn't be there and Blitzo sent both Moxie and Millie to rescue him. So for Stolas to throw it back in his face, while having full context and knowledge of the situation, is pretty terrible for his character as a father and as a partner. I can't fathom why someone would even have written him that way. I think the difference between Stolas and Blitzo taking ownership/accountability is that Blitzo is more likely into detail of what he's sorry for when he does apologize. He's not beating around the bush. And that is one of the issues I had with this episode...not only did he apologize to Fizz in an earlier episode ("Have you ever even apologized once in your life") Blitzo has said sorry to Stolas the most. Examples: 1.) He said sorry for not wanting to be around Stolas after the House of Asmodeus 2.) HE APOLOGIZED OVER THE STRIKER SITUATION BECAUSE OF LOONA"S SHOT 3.) He would have said sorry during the Full Moon but that's a whole can of worms. Back to writing inconsistencies, when you make Stolas overlook the things that Blitzo has done in the past just to fit the argument better it makes Stolas a worse character. And I WISH we could just cross this stupid hump. I WISH the story had chosen a better argument for them to grouse over. I personally would have preferred for them to tackle the class dynamics between Imps and Goetia with Stolas's infantalization (and sexualization) of Blitzo, disrespecting Blitzo's boundaries, and treating Blitzo almost like a pet which to me are some of the real issues with the relationship. (I don't know why Blitzo, who has already established that he isn't one ofr serious relationships, would even want to get into a relationship with how their dynamic was established.)
Honestly, Tex's appearance in this episode makes no sense especially being a back up singer to Stolas song. Makes me wish that this episode centered around Loona in someway just so they could further develop her relationship with Vortex and start a dynamic with Verosika heck maybe even her relationship with Blitzo seeing how much he feels regret for the people he hurt and reflect on her own actions.

The way Verosika was used in this episode rubbed me the wrong way. I stopped finding interest in her character because of it. She feels like a whole different person…. She was a petty, bitchy exe that was wronged in some way. Someone that used to be close. Now she’s just ‘one of Blitzo’s poor victims’. It’s like she’s dull now. I need more people talking about Verosika NOW.
May i be honest: Verosika doesn't really deserve an apology, and she really doesn't fit as the voice of reason in this episode to me. Many people keep saying "aw she deserves that apology". But i swear, people keep forgetting what she's done throughout her appearances on the show. She not only has been hostile to millie and moxie despite the fact the two of them didn't do anything wrong to her except for being blitzo's coworkers, but she's gone as far as to not only help fizz and asmodeus humiliate blitzo and stolas(this part i'll get back to in a moment) relationship, but she is so bloody unhinged that she formed an entire hate group filled of demons just to shit on blitzo. Don't get me wrong, what blitzo has done to her was terrible. But verosika jumped the damn gun, by growing so hatefully obsessive of blitzo to the point he lives rent free in her head.. the terrible things she has done basically ends up making her just as bad as blitzo, the person she claims to be helping older partners against. She has become no better than the person she hates. And the fact that this is never addressed bothers me. And the fact that she wants stolas to come to her party is more than ironic given the last time they interacted. Honestly, i wish either she apologized in return...or blitzo does apologize and instead calls her out on her hypocrisy.
I quite like the concept for Apology Tour, but the writing wasn't as great Like, I think Verosika was SUPPOSED to be shown as someone who's actually trying to help people heal, but it's executed in a way that doesn't quite meet that, and it's more just her trying to gather people to hate with and it just falls into the same old pattern of spite and try to ruin Blitz's life back. I think a way it could be done better is if she was ACTUALLY showing being a changed person like 'don't make the same mistakes as me', which would've been a bit better imo? Idk, I'm not a writer. TLDR; She's supposed to be shown as a different person who's more compassionate than she seems, but the way it was written didn't do that. Edit: Also, her personality could be a little more than just 'I hate Blitz', and I think this episode was supposed to do that, but it didn't deliver. (but with that said, i would also hate someone if they abandoned me without saying anything and stole my shit)

Anyone else think it's fucked Verosika convinces Blitz to let Stolas get laid while he's vulnerable and drunk? Then again, we've seen how her and her crew handle consent..
You're missing the context entirely. Stolas seems more "sympathetic" purely because he and Blitz are on exact opposite ends in terms of acknowledging and regulating their own emotions. Stolas is repeatedly shown as less emotionally-guarded and better at emotional regulation, while Blitz's self-hatred and fear of abandonment are so deeply-rooted that self-destructive aggression and denial are his immediate response to genuine affection and feeling vulnerable. If you ignore the bigger picture, then 100% the character whose defense mechanism is lashing out looks like the "bad guy."
The simple reality is that Blitz and Stolas are damaged beings who are both victims and equally at fault. This oversimplification of one of them as the "bad guy" needs to stop.

The reason that Stolas is so upset with Blitz is the fact that lil' imp insulted him during his most vulnerable moment.
There Stolas was on the full moon, waiting for Blitz to come and ready to tell him their relationship could be something more than just "work related." Then, what does Blitz do...he insults Stolas, dismisses those feelings and claims he's just manipulating him. After hearing such genuinely hateful language from his "impish little plaything," can one REALLY blame Stolas for behaving the way he did here?

@@JUSTANOREO555 it's especially silly because Moxxie and Millie didn't do a bad job saving Stolas, they just didn't get there in time. Which would still have happened if Blitzø was with them. He just wanted the romantic fantasy of Blitzø swooping in to save him, and he can't have that with Moxxie and Millie.
Also, Blitzø tried to tell him that he genuinely didn't know he could get hurt. He didn't know what weapons Striker had. He was so shocked when he saw Stolas being taken in and when Millie told him "Stolas got hurt bad." He didn't actually think Stolas could get hurt and he still sent the M&Ms, two perfectly competent assassins, to go save him while he took his daughter to make sure she wouldn't get rabies (I can only assume based on the pun that Hellbies would function similar to rabies, which makes it a very important shot to get). Stolas didn't know he could get hurt either, seeing how utterly calm and teasing he was with Striker. Why does he blame Blitzø for the same?
I do have hope that he's gonna get his own comeuppance. He was seeing where he went wrong, only shut down by Verosika and Tex because Ms. Mayday is spiteful and just wants to say "fuck you Blitzo" instead of acknowledging that maybe Stolas wasn't 100% in the right either. But I don't think the show wants you to be on Verosika's side there. My main reason though is the Octavia line. I can't wait to see it in context. I think she's gonna be the one that makes Stolas realize he's not been a great person, letting his romcom fantasy take priority over everyone else's feelings.
I will love getting to see Octavia tell her dad "You never loved mom and you don't love me! You love HIM."
(I also just wanna see more Octavia at all because she deserves a lot of character development. By far the most interesting premise on the show imo: girl comes from a broken family where her parents care more about hating each other than loving her. People talk about Millie not getting enough character development and being just a prop for a male character, but Octavia doesn't either and I feel like there's so much more established about her to work with than Millie, and she's basically just a prop for Stolas to show he's a good dad even when he isn't really one so I want more of her.)

Something that bothered me during the episode is unironically the exes at verosikas party, for several reasons.
1. Dennis is there, so apparently a one night stand counts as a ex, which makes me think: why would they feel bad if Blitzo left them when they never had a relationship in the first place? If they do, i don't think it's Blitzo's problem.
2. They are too many, which means Blitzo dated several people at the same time or every few days or weeks he started and ended a relationship. Since he is presented to always be lonely as hell and hated by everyone, how did he manage to impress that many people, considering that some still cry about their ralationship with him?
3. Like you mentioned, they are terrible people as well. They literally throw an entire party devoted to hating Blitzo and they also burn, stab and torture toys or dolls in Blitzo's shape. Being an asshole in a relationship is bad but being a deranged sadistic psychopath is a whole other level.

Right and the whole argument was due to bad communication. Blitzø was trying to talk things out more to understand. The thing that has always miffed me is how the show portrays Stolas as an innocent victim at all times. What pissed me off the most about this episode was when the show tried to portray Verosika as this unsung hero that's trying to help people get over what Blitzo did to them, but she's not. Misery loves company, and all the party does is fuel each others' anger and hate rather than actually healing and learning to forgive Blitzo.
I understand that what Blitzo may have done to them is horrible, but it's hard to claim this party helps people cope when they clearly aren't getting better, and you have one EVERY YEAR.
I miss the first season where Verosika was a petty ex and we understood why in the Ozzy episode, but now it's like her hating Blitzo is her whole personality trait. While it's true it's hard to forget someone's wrongdoings, dwelling on them is NOT healthy, and you can't do that forever.

The exes are indeed terrible people. They literally celebrate a party devoted to SOLEY hating Blitz. They torture and burn anything that’s in the shape of him, implying that they REALLY want him dead. Being upset from a break up and healing from it is important. Being a sadistic, deranged psychopath and wanting the person dead really badly are both not two of them. Not to mention that Blitz is getting guilt tripped and made to look hated, when he is just a troubled victim who’s scared to be loved. He unintentionally caused:
1. The burning of his family’s circus.
2. The presumed death of his own mother.
3. The burned scars of his own best friend, not to mention losing him (but don’t worry they made up).
4. The strained relationship with his own twin sister.
Not to mention that he was presumably already a victim of constant guilt tripping, as seen in “The Circus” episode, of how his father guilt trips him into stealing. It even hits hard knowing that his dad never cared about him to begin with, preferring Fizz rather than his own son, as seen in one of the flashbacks from “Oops” with him literally giving Fizz a card that says “Wish you were my son”.
Now with Stolas. I genuinely think his character development so far is terrible. He says that he wants genuine love, but all he does to Blitz is use him for s3x. He does lack self awareness, according to Viviziepop, and it doesn’t make it any better.

Imagine if in S2E2, Blitzø’s panic attack was still there. Stolas was going to make the usual sexual remark just like he did in the real episode. “Blitzø, if your performance is as half as good in bed-“ But then he stops. We get a quick flashback to Ozzie’s where Blitzø explained that he thought their relationship was only about sex. Stolas doesn’t continue the remark but instead tells Blitzø his performance will be great.
And then in S2E4, Stolas realizes how uncomfortable those words are, further cementing that he doesn’t want to keep treating Blitzø like this.

Havent watched but if you forgot this, Stolas is a hypocrite because in Ozzie's club, he hid his face and did NOTHING, he let Blitz get ridiculed, if he says he truly loves him, he would not hide and fight verbally & DEFEND BLITZ! Viv's writing is genuinely horrendous with this logic and other things especially Hazbin, I quit keeping up with her shows when I heard that Hazbin did not improve anything and her writing is just the same as it has been before.

The thing that annoys me most with this episode is the whole apology premise. It’s started by Stolas saying ‘do you ever feel sorry’ or something. Fucker Blitz has said sorry to you the most. He said sorry for not wanting to be around Stolas after Ozzie’s, he said sorry that he couldn’t go save him over Loona’s shot, he tried to say sorry in Full Moon when Stolas had the balls to cry over Blitz having realistic views on him based on how he’s acted. Stolas said “alright” in Ozzie’s he clearly heard that one! And this is what you want him to apologise for? Blitz’s is right to me the most he has to apologise for is yelling but that only happened because Stolas didn’t let the ‘conversation’ in Full Moon have any breathing room.
That's the point that I'm keep bringing up! The whole point of "Apology tour" existence is actually non-existent. Making this episode just a mistake of the universe!
Yes, exactly that's the key difference between Stolas and Blitzos ownership of accountability Blitzo in his ownership goes into full on detail of what he's being sorry for, and doesn't at all beat around the bush where as Stolases "ownership" is just your stereotypical RUclipsr like apology where the person just says there sorry but doesn't go into detail about what they did and what there apologizing for.
Personally, I also don't think Blitzo owes stolas anything for the striker situation Blitzo clearly explained to Stolas that this medical treatment was of utmost necessity to Loona's wellbeing with Stolas even conceding to this exact point, and not only that but Blitzo even made sure to send stolas helpful assistance against Striker. So, for Stolas to have both the full knowledge and context of why Blitzo couldn't rightfully be there and try and attempt to use the situation as a gotcha is both disgusting and speaks lowly of stolas as both a father figure and as a partner himself. If anything stolas should be grateful that Blitzo is so many classes below him because if he was speaking this way towards anyone of equal or upper hell class he would get his absolute teeth kicked in.

The one thing I found the most insane was that there were literally couples at the anti-Blitz party. The implication being they met there. So most reasonable people at this point would go "so yeah, the experience was shitty, but something good came out of it, so in a way we have him to thank for the fact we met" then stop focusing on their ex and enjoy their new relationship so the fact they were still attending shows an unhealthy obsession and if you're still hung up on an ex like this you're not ready for a new relationship yet
Maybe some of them wanted that same kind of commitment from Blitzo, but he just used them for sex and just bailed on them in the worst way possible. And some of them might have their own personal issues and Blitzo found a way to make them worse.

But if that was all he wanted, this could've easily been communicated at the beginning. He could've very easily said that he wasn't looking for anything long term, or any real commitment, then everyone could've gone their separate ways at the end with less hard feelings. Whether it's just that Blitzo is severely lacking in communication skills department, or was purposely being vague or cagey from the onset would make you feel for the party goers, as intentions were not clear from the start. But this is all conjecture as there's a lot going on here and a lot up to interpretation

I agree. Octavia deserves better parents. Her whole life, she was nothing more than insurance to her mother and uncle and she was just a means of making her father look sympathetic despite all of the horrible things he’s done. The second time Stolas saved Octavia, every step in their father and daughter relationship they had to do over and over again, but she’s not. After all that she’s been through, she’s not giving Stolas another chance. I know a lot of people want Octavia and Stolas to be a family again, but Stolas clearly doesn’t.

Blitzø ghosted Verosika, making her pay for the hotel room and stole her car and credit card to then spend her money on horse riding lessons. He didn't simply break up with him.
Still, most of your points about Verosika stands. Even if he ended their relationship in such terrible way, she had no right to make fun of Barbie and assault Moxxie. I can give her the benefit of the doubt that MAYBE she was in bad terms with Blitzø's sister. But Moxxie? He did nothing wrong! He just wanted to talk things out in a civil manner. What reason does Verosika and her crew had for SA-ing him other than him being Blitzø employee? None! She did it just to annoy Blitzø.
I honestly used to see Verosika as sympathetic. Because in the concept, she really is! Protagonist's ex who got hurt by him but used to love him so much that she can't let go. It gives her deepth - motivations, conflict, fatal flaw. But the execution made her look spiteful and petty.
Not to mention that there's no way Blitzø was in a relationship with all these people. There's just too many of them. And there's even a way to confirm it - Dennis is there. The person Blitzø didn't want to have sex just because he did not like his name. So you don't need to be in a relationship with the imp nor even sleep with him to get on this party. I swear, most of this people just slept with Blitzø once, forgot about him, got reminded by Verosika's invitation and went on the party just because it was hosted by a celebrity. Maybe even pretended to hate Blitzø just to get closer to their idol. No one can convince me otherwise.

That only think you didn't mention is that he must very much have problems with memory because Blitzø did apologize. He literally apologized to him in "Ozzie's" for not wanting to have sex. After "Apology tour" Blitzø is clean for me since he apologized to Stolas (even if for all wrong reasons) and understood his mistakes. So unless he's going to do something terrible in the future, currently I'm focused only on Stolas' faults because they weren't adressed and he did not say sorry even once for them.

Stolas is not a coercive rapist. Let's start at S1 E5: 'When this happens, it's not really something I fuss about...' and 'Well, I'm not a fan of someone I offered a job to about to off my easiest lengthy ticket to Earth behind my back.' Notice how Blitz says 'easiest lengthy ticket' here, not 'only ticket', and Blitz knows about Asmodean Crystals, as evidenced by Unhappy Campers where Blitz forces someone to use it to create a portal to the living world, so the grimoire was never the only option Blitz could've used to run I.M.P. Sure losing the grimoire would've disrupted business for a bit, but again, it was never Blitz's only option, so the coercion argument already falls flat there, but let's beat it up a bit further shall we? Now let's look at S1 E7, at the ending of it Stolas never pressures or forces Blitz into having sex with him or quote 'We could talk, or… watch a movie, or… maybe cuddle?', Blitz turns Stolas down here, and Stolas never forces or pressures Blitz into doing said things with him, and you know what this also proves? It proves that Blitz has always had the self-agency to tell Stolas 'no I don't want to fuck you', which also shows that Blitz actually wanted to have sex with Stolas, which we can prove by the text messages Stolas and Blitz had after Ozzie's. The text messages at the end of Western Energy show that Stolas is actively giving Blitz the option to not fuck him, which also tells us that Blitz always had the option to tell Stolas no, and hell, we can see in the All 2 U song that Blitz turned down Stolas most likely asking Blitz to stay after the sex, proving even further Blitz always had the self-agency to tell Stolas no, which shows that Blitz wanted to have sex with Stolas. I sure wish there was a funny little song showing Blitz wanting to fuck Stolas out of his entire own free will to just really drive in the point, -oh wait that actually exists with 'When I See Him Tonight" from Full Moon. and now let's look at Apology Tour again, Blitz wants the arrangement back, to fuck Stolas again. Which tells us something that the people peddling the bullshit 'Stolas is a rapist' argument entirely ignore, Blitz is the one unhappy with the arrangement ending, not Stolas, Blitz. Also, Blitz has the crystal by this point, he could've easily have just told Stolas to fuck off and leave if he was truly being coerced and raped by him, but he chooses to stay because at this point he thinks this gesture is a farewell gift from Stolas, and it's been made very clear that Blitz has strong feelings for him by this point despite his self-hatred, that he doesn't want to lose Stolas, which also helps to further prove that Blitz wanted to have sex with him out of his entire free will. Blitz having sex with Stolas was a way for Blitz to be close to him without having to be vulnerable, and when Stolas gets rid of the arrangement Blitz is scared because it would force him to be vulnerable towards Stolas. Is all of this really the behavior of a person who felt coerced into sex he didn't want to have? Because I think it's pretty fucking clear that Blitz at no point felt coerced into having sex with Stolas, and the antis/critics that claim otherwise I have good grounds to believe aren't even watching the same show anymore.

5- If Stolas, who never raped nor thought about raping anyone, is a rapist in the antis' eyes, then they should also consider Blitz one. Blitz pushed a LOT of boundaries in their first encounter, if Stolas wasn't into it, it would be a total red flag. He also pushed more and more boundaries in the first minutes of Apology Tour, "demanding" for sex (not really, but if you take it out of context it really seems like he's demanding). Now, Blitz never raped anyone, never considered nor thought about raping anyone, but it's not like that matters for antis.
6- The Grimoire belongs to Stolas. He decides who can or can't use, what rules one should follow to use it. Blitz stole the book that belongs to Stolas. Stolas didn't steal some precious thing that Blitz owned and desperately needed to live and said "hey if you don't fuck me you will never have your belonging back", no. This is not what happened. Stolas PROPOSED, not demanded, PROPOSED a sex deal so they could both use the book that belongs to him, and Blitz accepted the deal. It's not Stolas' fault that Blitz decided to open a business consisting in killing humans in the mortal world
7- The Grimoire is NOT Blitz's only way to go to Earth. It's only his easiest way. He could still have his business without the book
8- Sex workers have sex in exchange for financial benefits. It's their job. Are antis seriously suggesting that a costumer paying a sex worker is rape? I feel like 5 is a bad point. “Blitz pushed a lot of boundaries in their first encounter. If Stolas wasn’t into it, that would be a total red flag.” But he… was? Why is this being mentioned? “He also pushed more and more boundaries in the first minutes of Apology Tour, ‘demanding for sex’”- well, the closet level of intimacy he’s had with Stolas is their sexual relationship, and Blitz really thought Stolas only wanted him FOR their sexual agreement, so Blitz tries to apologize by offering what he thinks Stolas will want. Stolas has no control of his life or relationship with his wife. HERE is something he finally has control over...and he abused his power and the situation and even seems to get off on it. It's understandable, but as you said inexcusable. It sucks that Stolas couldn't be who he wanted to be, but that's not Blitz's fault either.
Yeah, it's really no wonder that Blitzo got whiplash from the emotional 180 that Stolas pulled on him. At some point, Stolas decided he wanted something entirely different from Blitzo and didn't communicate at all; and at this point he's even mad at Blitzo for talking to him the way he insisted on early in the series. Stolas is a totally different person at this point and he should step back and realize why he's got Blitzo angrily grasping at straws for what he did wrong.
Stolas always wanted more than sex. He settled it for it at first, but was naive in thinking that sex alone would lead to a relationship. That's why he was frustrated at the beginning of Ozzie's, because he didn't get why it wasn't romantic yet. However, he was never clear about that until after Ozzie's.
My biggest problem with HB is how they victimize Stolas to a ridiculous level.
At the start he was very ruthless, kinda even ""SA"" on Blitzo, doing this "If you have sex with me, I'll give you this". (I know Blitzo also "likes" this deal, but you know).

I felt this episode was sensationalizing Blitzo's flaws because when he went to party, he had so many damn exes its crazy. Like all we knew as audience is he had Verosika as an ex and thats it. The problem (at least in Verosika's case) wasn't that Blitz didn't want a serious relationship. It was that when Verosika said that she wanted to get serious, instead of calmly declining, Blitz ran off without saying anything (or even leaving a note), stole Verosika's car, crashed said car and maxed out all her credit cards. That's the part Verosika was upset about.
And considering he did that to her, I wouldn't put it past him to have done similar things to all his other exes. If he would have from the get-go made it clear that he didn't want to get serious, then I'm pretty sure non of his exes would be that upset.

Sorry but I’m gonna have to correct you about Blitz hurting Fizz on purpose. It was NOT on purpose. It was an accident, like Blitz stated, and it showed it was that one scene.
While he was walking away from the tent, Blitz pushed a guy who was carrying a cake out of his way a little too hard. As a result, the candle from the cake set the tent on fire, which eventually led to the explosion, and Fizz being injured. Something Blitz didn’t realize had happened until it was too late to stop it.

I needed this video. I felt like I was going crazy when I finished the episode and all the comments were about how great Verosika is and how bad Blitz is. Wtf? If I'm still this hung up on an ex that wasn't abusive years later after he broke up with me, that's on me, not on him. Blitz sucks at relationships, but he has the right to end it at any point and for any reason, not to mention some of those people were at that party just because Blitz had sex with them. If they caught feelings in ONE night and hoped for more, that's on them, Blitz didn't promise anything more to them than what he gave.
Don't even get me started on Stolas... A lot of people say that he will be called out next episode, but I don't watch sneak peaks and that doesn't make watching this episode any less frustrating. And what's with this complete segregation of Blitz's character arc episode and supposedly incoming Stolas' character arc episode anyway? I hate the defense of "Stolas is supposed to be wrong in what he says to Blitz here and lacking self awareness" because... can't you show it a little in the episode? Can't you have one conversation where the two properly call out each other without making Blitz seem like the irrational one with an army of people who were "hurt" by him just like Stolas was? And actually, between the two of them, Stolas should be the one who has his arc first because he's the one who held power in the relationship and in the society as a whole, plus it would work with kickstarting Blitz' arc in a way that's not stupid and petty. Imagine Stolas genuinely apologizing, but Blitz doesn't know how to react and leaves, then he wants to talk about it with someone so he goes to his old friends and exes, but no one in his life wants to hear him out because he's a shitty person so who cares if he's hurting from his relationship with Stolas (and then you can have Blitz accidentally meet Verosika, who turns out to be the only one actually willing to listen and give him advice, in the process giving her the idea that maybe she could be a better person too and she can receive an apology from Blitz for the way he treated her, just not for the act of breaking up in itself). In sarcastic chorus's video when he brought up the party, he mentioned how with the amount of people there, and how a lot of them are hook-ups, one night stands, or people he made out with once at a party (Dennis), Verosika is just unhealthily stalking and obsessing over anyone who had even a moment of physical intimacy with Blitzø to invite them to this party. She invited Stolas the day after they broke up. Im hadd pressed to believe she'll never heal from this because of how obsessive she is over these hurt feelings
And she's been doing it for years.

- Is incredibly racist towards Imps (and idk about hellhounds because he doesnt even seem to notice they are there). *Never showed to change that view*

Amusing how this episode makes Blitzo looks so much better than everybody else since he seems to actually be self-reflecting and attempting to try and help himself. For all his fuck ups in the episode, at the end he really seemed to have some kind of different perspective on his actions and the people he's interacted with. He's actually accepting some of his mistakes whereas everyone else seems stuck in a hypocritical, self-pitying, lack of self-reflecting, consequence-less, self-justifying losers that have insanely unhealthy levels of either obsession and/or pride.

The difference is that on his photo with Verosika he has genuine, wide smile, showing that even if he was afraid of serious relationship, he felt good being with her. But on his photo with Stolas in bed... you could argue he smiles but even if what he had on his face was a smile it's nothing in comparasion to his picture with Mayday.

I won't be afraid to admit it, I was once on Stolas's side, but it was mostly just my desperation for their ship to work out. But as I kept watching, I realized how shitty this relationship was. Sure, Blitz did do some pretty shitty things, but Stolas isn't in the right either. Blitz has a right to not want this relationship, he still tried to get Stolas help even when he was busy. He does seem to care for Stolas, he's just scared to be vulnerable and thinks he incapable of being loved. And Stolas doesn't have a right to keep playing the victim, whether he's aware of it right now or not, he needs to realize his mistakes and try to change, and not expect for Blitz to be the only one to change in this relationship.
I was also on Stolas side, but after Full Moon and watching a lot of videos on their relationship it just dawned on me how toxic and fetishized the ship is, the show definitely tries to gaslight their viewers.

For Full Moon, I only liked it because of the Cherubs and agents but they shouldn't have been in the episode in the 1st place. They were only there for filler and the runtime. I really didn't get how readily everyone flipped to "she's the victim!" with Verosika and bought the whole, totally bizarre, premise of her hate party being a necessary group therapy session. What total BS. Only someone with as poor self esteem as Blitz or as big of a drama lama as Stolas would believe that. She is obviously a controlling psycho who is completely obsessed with Blitz since he is the 'one who got away' or probably more accurately, the one who escaped.
The party attendees being devastated exes seems bizarre. They are, at most, one night stands or short term flings, so ghosting is accepted behavior. If they are that devastated, Blitz has legendary-level magical abilities of attraction. I have the feeling Blitz is just a fun meme or cryptid to them, and they're mainly there for the free booze and celebrity sponsored party.

I think one of my biggest issues with the show is the lack of character/writing consistency and how that hurts the character.
Take the Striker situation...
I personally don't think Blitzo really "owes" Stolas anything for the whole Striker situation + kidnapping (especially when Blitzo has had his life put in danger due to Striker as well), Stolas knew why Blitzo couldn't be there and Blitzo sent both Moxie and Millie to rescue him. So for Stolas to throw it back in his face, while having full context and knowledge of the situation, is pretty terrible for his character as a father and as a partner. I can't fathom why someone would even have written him that way.
I think the difference between Stolas and Blitzo taking ownership/accountability is that Blitzo is more likely into detail of what he's sorry for when he does apologize. He's not beating around the bush. And that is one of the issues I had with this episode...not only did he apologize to Fizz in an earlier episode ("Have you ever even apologized once in your life") Blitzo has said sorry to Stolas the most.
Examples:
1.) He said sorry for not wanting to be around Stolas after the House of Asmodeus
2.) HE APOLOGIZED OVER THE STRIKER SITUATION BECAUSE OF LOONA"S SHOT
3.) He would have said sorry during the Full Moon but that's a whole can of worms.
Back to writing inconsistencies, when you make Stolas overlook the things that Blitzo has done in the past just to fit the argument better it makes Stolas a worse character.
And I WISH we could just cross this stupid hump. I WISH the story had chosen a better argument for them to grouse over. I personally would have preferred for them to tackle the class dynamics between Imps and Goetia with Stolas's infantalization (and sexualization) of Blitzo, disrespecting Blitzo's boundaries, and treating Blitzo almost like a pet which to me are some of the real issues with the relationship. (I don't know why Blitzo, who has already established that he isn't one ofr serious relationships, would even want to get into a relationship with how their dynamic was established.)
Honestly, Tex's appearance in this episode makes no sense especially being a back up singer to Stolas song. Makes me wish that this episode centered around Loona in someway just so they could further develop her relationship with Vortex and start a dynamic with Verosika heck maybe even her relationship with Blitzo seeing how much he feels regret for the people he hurt and reflect on her own actions.

Verosika doesn't really deserve an apology, and she really doesn't fit as the voice of reason in this episode to me.
Many people keep saying "aw she deserves that apology". But i swear, people keep forgetting what she's done throughout her appearances on the show. She not only has been hostile to millie and moxie despite the fact the two of them didn't do anything wrong to her except for being blitzo's coworkers, but she's gone as far as to not only help fizz and asmodeus humiliate blitzo and stolas(this part i'll get back to in a moment) relationship, but she is so bloody unhinged that she formed an entire hate group filled of demons just to shit on blitzo.
Don't get me wrong, what blitzo has done to her was terrible. But verosika jumped the damn gun, by growing so hatefully obsessive of blitzo to the point he lives rent free in her head.. the terrible things she has done basically ends up making her just as bad as blitzo, the person she claims to be helping older partners against. She has become no better than the person she hates. And the fact that this is never addressed bothers me. And the fact that she wants stolas to come to her party is more than ironic given the last time they interacted.
Honestly, i wish either she apologized in return...or blitzo does apologize and instead calls her out on her hypocrisy.

Like, I think Verosika was SUPPOSED to be shown as someone who's actually trying to help people heal, but it's executed in a way that doesn't quite meet that, and it's more just her trying to gather people to hate with and it just falls into the same old pattern of spite and try to ruin Blitz's life back. I think a way it could be done better is if she was ACTUALLY showing being a changed person like 'don't make the same mistakes as me', which would've been a bit better imo? Idk, I'm not a writer.
TLDR; She's supposed to be shown as a different person who's more compassionate than she seems, but the way it was written didn't do that.
Edit: Also, her personality could be a little more than just 'I hate Blitz', and I think this episode was supposed to do that, but it didn't deliver.
