How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these RUclips videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. I used to simply just work any temporary job I could find to save up to travel! I budget the money I earn meticulously to reach my savings goals using www.backpackingbananas.com/pr...
Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

I went to Australia on a working holiday visa and I lived in Sydney for the majority of my time. I worked at Spaceships Rentals. I absolutely loved my time there, and I still love finding any opportunity I can to talk about my time in Aus.
Just got my first pair of Solo Shorts! I've had my eye on them for a while and decided to go for it for my birthday ❤ I hope I got the size right!

Australia is on my list and this upcoming series will just solidify my desire to go! Bar crawl…I’m all in! It’s the fall there now, will you spend the winter there? Are the temps pretty moderate? Can’t wait to see the series.

I'm from Sydney. The best time to come to Sydney or Astraya. November to around May. After that it will be winter and can get nippy and cold.

Do you know if there is something similar to Welcom To Travel when you want to do a WH in New Zealand?
Good question! If there is, I don’t know about it but you have made me think I should do some research! 😅
When I was in NZ in 2018 we had Yep! They also helped us open up a bank account and get a ID number so we could get a job!

Dear Christianne, I love watching your vlogs and listening to your stories. Would you have a chance or consider adjusting the volume in your vlogs? It seems to change throughout the vlog and is sometimes so low and then louder again 🙏 I imagine the vlogs would be even more enjoyable to watch if the volume level was more consistent.

I love Sydney. I lived there for over 20 years and ran a very successful Share Accomodation service (which is how I met my hubby!). I am surprised they didn't take you on a ferry ride to Manly or a dinner cruise around the harbour. Taronga Zoo in Mosman is another great ferry desination from Circular Quay (next to the Oprah House). Have been living in Mexico for over a year now - hubby and I escaped the pandemic madness in Oz with our 3 little doggies. Very happy to be in Mexico cause I think more insanity is lurking around the corner in Australia unfortunately.

@@simonschmitt4613 Oh gee Simon, I hate to say this, but we will never return to Australia as long as we live. I know things are (temporarily) opened up now, but believe me, that will change. We saw so many people whose businesses were crushed overnight esp. Air BNBs and tourism. Things were constantly changing (Sydney airport shut down and we had to change our flight to leave Oz from Brisbane). State borders shutting (separating spouses etc) with only hours notice. Police brutality off the scale (saw an elderly man thrown to the ground breaking his hip for not wearing a mask). Do some research on another platform to see firsthand.
