There were already a lot of Super Typhoons with that kind of structure with very round and clear eye. Super Typhoon Megi (2010), Super Typhoon Mangkhut (2018), Super Typhoon Zeb (1998), Super Typhoon Haima 2016, Super Typhoon Meranti 2016, Super Typhoon Cimaron 2006 and others. All the storms that I have mentioned were a Category 5 Super Typhoons that made landfall in Northern Luzon Philippines. The eye of Super Typhoon Kong-Rey reminded me so well with Super Typhoon Mangkhut or locally named in the Philippines as "Ompong". Mangkhut was also a very large storm with more than 1,200 kilometers in diameter. It's eye diameter was more than 100 kilometers. Haiyan's eye was big and clear but not that as big as Ompong and Kong-Rey.
I am in Taiwan. My place is now being passed by the eye of a typhoon. As I write this comment, we are very calm inside our house enjoying lunch and watching TV. Outside the wind is very strong, even the tree in front of the house fell down. I have been working in Taiwan for 15 years. Taiwanese people are very calm when facing typhoons, and so am I. The air is cool and very comfortable to sleep.
No problem I’ve been through 2 big cyclones in Taiwan while holiday there. Most shops just closed for 2 days. Seriously people are so calm. The day before making the landfall people still go to work and kids still go to school. Taiwanese people are incredibly calm.
@@bitmikealerts_lol in Taiwan the day before cyclone makes landfall (still a lot of rain, windy) people still go to work, shops still open and schools still open. Restaurants inside the subway actually still open even during cyclones. Hard to believe but I got photos and videos to prove it. I went outside during cyclone with 150kmh wind and very heavy rain. Feel the power of cyclone. I went to the subway and shops still open. I had noddle and no surcharge.
@@michaellan78 when a warning is issued, usually school is out for like 3 days. One before landfall, one during landfall, one after. More may be added in severe cases, like Ian of 2022 or helene of 2024

Could be because you are protected by taiwans mountains, even so a Lot of rainfall is likely but winds might weaken, it will be worser thsn gaemi and krathon likely because of how big and fast it will be, but winds will be no problem.
They should surround their country with 6 km inflatable mountains so that they stop this from hitting the land because it's not only about the people it's also about the animals and we have specifically been sent here to protect the sea life we are not supposed to be killing animals we are supposed to eat insects and for whatever reason they are letting this happen you are not supposed to let the animals be killed you were supposed to stop them from being killed and it is your responsibility and you should make 6 kilometer inflatable mountains and Surround your Island so you stop this from killing the animals and the sea life I tell you the truth you were sent here to protect the animals that is the reason why you're on this planet
Thanks to our mountains, we are yet to feel the wind and rain here in the central west area. Had just went out grabbing drinks, uncles and aunties are still in the park doing their daily exercises. Expecting some rain and wind later in the night, but probably won't be that strong, since it should weakened after hitting the mountains
I dont think ive seen a storm with such a perfect structure for strength and intensity since Haiyan.

I think its ragged large perfect eye wall is what makes this storm quiet interesting and magnifincely surreal.
yes i was really surprised by it's structure
Mind blowing how its eye can fit my whole city (baguio city) its a perfect circle and its really massive
Dude I swear this thing is so good in terms of structure and wind speed and cloud tops bro. I haven’t seen anything this good since Haiyan

Why is the eye 200 times larger than Milton’s?
It's a larger storm and not as tightly wound.
I am excited for its animation.
