Interestingly enough, Goebells was not immediately taken with Hitler when the two first crossed paths. Very skeptical of the notion that Hitler was the strongest standard-bearer that the Nazi party could put forward, at a time when they were still trying to win actual elections. Became among the truest of ‘true believers’-the sicko and his wife decide to murder-suicide their own young children so they wouldn’t grow up in a world where Hitler lost the war-but he didn’t start out that way.

This is yet another green light to all aspiring political ghouls that there really isn't a bottom to the barrel, and they can always land softly at NBC regardless of how horrible they act.

I’d like to see a set theory diagram of the U.S. government and the U.S. citizenry right now. It feels like we’re in a cocoon with all our guts mixed into a slurry before we come out as either a beautiful butterfly or a moth that’ll eat holes in pockets.

I remember when Sam was booted off MSNBC as a commentator because Mike Cernovich (who the hell remembers him) told the network about a joke Sam made years before. Sam was devastated but his fans/followers loudly protested and he was reinstated (kinda). It got Sam so much publicity and new subscribers that it ended up being a good thing to not be on MSNBC. I have never forgiven Chris Hayes for not supporting Sam during that time. Anyone else remember that?

Yes. And it turns out Hayes is a neoliberal weasel anyway, so that tracks

Hiring an election denier, a bad move.

Why? Everyone on the left was an election denier in 2016. Fuck, Hilary Clinton made up the entire Russian interference. They tried to take it to trial, and it couldn't even get that far. Both sides always bitch when the other side wins.

The idea of younger comedy actors stepping in (Seth Rogen, Rudd, insert SNL cast member here) is actually a TERRIBLE idea. You’d end up with another Judd Apatow “ad-lib-a-thon” with no scripted comedy. So GB2016, basically.

"If she speaking for herself, or is she speaking for whoever is paying her?"
That describes virtually EVERY politician and media figure that you interview, Chuck. That's the problem. Everyone is just reciting what their donors, sponsors, corporate bosses or Donald Trump want them to say. You're calling out this one horrible fascist liar and pretending like the 600 previous liars you had one were legitimate and honest.
