Как побывавший там могу сказать, что он даже не все показал. Государство крошечное, но плотно упаковано яркими для глаз местами. Теперь спустя 20 лет, побывав в дюжине других стран, по-прежнему вижу здесь особый шарм Мальты, её собственный стиль и красоту. На втором острове Гозо (который там так никто не называет, по-мальтийски он Аудеш) вообще хоть сейчас бы покатался по городкам, погулял по заливам и скалам. Невероятно милый, самодостаточный островок. Помню именно на нем встретил парня, который не говорил даже по-английски, только по-мальтийски!

Побывал там с будущей женой в 2005... Рамла иль Хамра, Меллиха, Туффиха, Голден Бей конечно... Обалденный Аудеш (Гозо)... Маленькие бухточки, известковые обрывы в дырах и впадинах с изумрудной водой. Ветрище на входе в главную бухту. Жёлтые каменные улочки Виктории, Гзиры и Слимы. Молодость блин. Красота. Всем советую как вариант когда на Италию денег нет.

I visited Malta when I was 1976. It was the most magical place. The history is awesome, the people are beautiful on all levels, the scenery, food and the beaches, Malta really has it all. Oh yea, I saw my first ghost there. I didn't believe in ghosts until Malta.
Another brilliant video! And the music is divine, too. I have often thought of visiting Malta--now I just have, in the most delightful way! What a beautiful group of islands.

The islands of Malta have few sandy beaches, and the music called "The Maltese Melody" by Bert Kaempfert, covered by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, which is said to be modeled after Gozo Island's Ramla Beach, became popular music in Japan. I enjoyed the history of that era and the background of how this music was born in recent years.
Thank you for your wonderful photography and your eye for capturing the essence of where you are. I love visiting new places where I most likely will never be in person as well as seeing and remembering places I've visited.
Love the limestone architecture. In summer the humidity affects very strongly. I went there by boat from Modica( Sicily) . it is so tiny. I felt the influence of Italy.
