    I want to thank you for all your advice. We had a friend who had a litter of American Bullies, and one came up with swimming puppy syndrome. He was planning to put him down, and we decided to keep him and follow all your advice. After two days, he showed a lot of improvement. He also has a flat chest, and we followed other platforms. But THANK YOU! For helping us save this puppy 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

    Thank you for this, we breed Yorkies and had our first swimmer pup, she's only 4 weeks old. I have watched so many videos on hobbling and shoots and your was the best. Love then inside bathmat for added traction. I am on day 2 of PT so hopefully she will bounce to normal quick.

      @katsshibainus3258 i just bought the little soft toddler sized ones. They're about an inch in diameter, I would think. I just chained three together, and it helped greatly!

    Can you put hair tie on front legs also or interchange with rear legs ?

  • @AlmostaCowgirl
    @AlmostaCowgirl 8 месяцев назад +2

    This helped my puppy! Since we have pug puppies, I went to the dollar store and purchased soft toddler ponytail holders. I connected 3 of them (looped like a chain), and it was perfect. I tried tape and felt so bad when it came time to change it. He's pulling through and doing SO much better! Every other day works great.

      @alizehustle9385 no, just his back legs. His front legs were fine. Hev stayed with us. He has a slightly flat chest from it, but we started treating him early enough. We had him examined by the vet, and he's fine. He's full of energy.

    How late is too late to correct this? I have a friend who has a swimmer puppy. I believe he is 3 months old and they’ve tried putting him in a harness type hammock with wheels. He is a chubby lazy little guy and has not been motivated so this hasn’t helped. They’re considering putting him down and I’m so upset. Is there anything else they can do?

    Genuine question, I would appreciate it if anyone could respond as soon as you could. We just adopted a 2 month old pup, and she's got swimmer's syndrome on the hind legs. Is it too late to start treatment or can we still save the pup from this? Thank you so much in advance!

    • @BulldogBreeder

      It’s gonna be harder but you can rehabilitate. I suggest making one of the chutes like I use in the video & doing hobbles for 15-30 minutes at a time a few times a day & you should start to see improvements. You can always book consultations with me threw this link www.breedlikeapro.com/1-1-breeder-consultation-15-minute

    My puppy is three weeks old almost on Monday so another three days she’ll be three weeks ago. I just bubbled her with Kate. That’s all I have right now. I will get the rubber bands or hair ties but I have been using the bathmat ever since they were born with a little nubbies so it’s just because she’s so fat.
