Papa Shirogane is hilarious. I never thought he'd be that high on my list of characters after he gets only that brief scene where he answers Miyuki's phone back in Season 1. I didn't see one in the comments yet, so I offer a sub-par translation of the diagram based on my baby-level Japanese: Miyuki -> Papa: "get a life" -> Kei: the concern of a big brother -> Kaguya: wants her to confess Kei -> Papa: separate laundry -> Miyuki: annoying -> Kaguya: admiration Papa -> Miyuki: still a kid. -> Kei: fear -> Kaguya: amusing (or maybe interesting, but he sure did seem to enjoy messing with her and seeing her reactions)
Shirogane's dad is a living meme😭. Its even funnier when you know Dio from jojo. They share the same voice and they use the dad to remind you of Dio in certain scene

Papa Shirogane is one of the Best characters in the series, all his scenes are bangers, and the fact that he shares the same voice as one of the best villians in anime Dio Brando, and the animators of Kaguya knows that Damn well and they made Papa Shirogane menacing as Dio
22:27 The arrows between the Shiroganes are just phrases that describe their relationship. Myuki is annoyed by Papa Shirogane, but Papa Shirogane still treats him like a kid. Myuki is protective of Kei, but Kei resents him. The arrows pointing to Kaguya say, “admires her” for Kei, “thinks she is interesting” for Papa Shirogane, and “wants to make her confess” for Myuki.
Just to make it a little clearer about the sugar daddy joke dady shirogane made he said that giving romantic advice to his son is the duty of the father (he referred to himself as papa when he said that) and the duty of papa in Japanese is "papa no katsudou" and he abbreviate it to "papakatsu" which means sugar daddy in Japanese.
Shinomiya couldn´t cheer for Shirogane because he was in the red team and she was in the white team. So, cheering for him while being in the opposite side would´ve shown that she likes him. That´s why she went far away to cheer for him in the distance.

The hidden Ishigami and Miko connection is my favorite since they both technically hate eachother, but they always have stuck up for one another behind the scenes due to their principles. I think Miyuki's dad bumped into Kaguya by accident. Miyuki had been trying to get him away from the event area to keep him from running into Kaguya, not realizing that Kaguya had also distanced herself from the event area so that she could privately cheer for Miyuki in his race. So they bumped into each other by accident, and Kaguya then immediately told him who she was ("I'm the vice-president of the student council") after he made his off-hand comment about Miyuki's performance. So that's how he knew who she was.

@@freakcan the first season dub is alright but they really really went all out in the second season. The straight man way of the japanese narrator makes their ridiculous actions stand out. The ball smacking wacko that is the English narrator blends right in. I love that they didn't just do a straight translation but made the English dub it's own thing. I love them both for different reasons and whenever I rewatch I usually alternate between them.
